Watch a huge fucking pigeon come out the sand
Darth Vaper Lmfao
Darth Vaper that would be hilarious
you made my day
Darth Vaper Pterodactyl
lmao
This easter egg should Unlock M16A3 for the medic.
Sournois Fox the A3 didn't even exist back then I don't think..
pixelking it was a joke
Sournois Fox Lol
pixelking come on bro.
+Daniel “G” W How do you not understand the joke.
We had a megalodon back in Battlefield 4 now it's time for megapigeon
Monnq please
Monnq Let's call it the "Megalopigeon". The "lo" makes it sound just slightlier bigger.
what "le"
i thought it was the rendelodon?
Or, it could be a Sandshark!
I thought for a second your hand with the tabacco tin was ingame footage
hansdietrich83 haha same!
hansdietrich83 Yeah, the lighting was almost cinematic.
Me too, I thought I missed a mission in the campaign lol. I think it was the way he handled the tin, the way a lot of games do the "inspecting" animations.
DX13
hansdietrich83 Same here
It'll probably unlock the M1903 Infantry
!!! I'd like that
DANK 7743
For the love of Jesus they need an infantry version
DANK 7743 possibly. good idea
Also refer to my other comment on how it might be deciphered
DANK 7743 I loved the infantry version in the first campaign lvl and I want it.
It unlocks a 40x scope for the kolibri
Or an under barrel grenade launcher
I just unlocked a bipod for my Kolibri!
c100-bipod kolibri
Full-auto Kolibri with bipod, under barrel shotgun, and 9001 rounds.
A kolibri that shoots the actual bird that it is representing
Unlocks pigeon class. Everyone knows that
falaflani Yeah...
worst map is argonne forest though
Björn Öman suez
falaflani with the kolibribomb
reward = a refund on hardline
Lester Dave Evangelista was fun though lol not great but it was fun
the bombnoicam
It was actually a really fun game. Wasn't really a "battlefield" game but still good
I would rather have a refund for BF1
true... i too hate great games
Kri Par lol
Still going on.. i hate morse
me too
DANNYonPC I love you
DANNYonPC Danny love u bae :)
DANNYonPC is bae
havent found anything else usefull either Danny, been keepin eyes open for weeks now and nothing new since the morse codes.
i am 100% sure we will be getting new things when the first DLC goes live.
It will unlock the exotic butters.
Vortex Zero YEESSS SISTER LOCATION
the morse code does sound like Casual Bongos
five nights at freddy's fanboy.
Making a random reference isn't funny, this has nothing to do with Sister Location
Cry Yumiya I really don't think butt hurt means what you think it means....
All the MCOMs are found on Ottoman maps, maybe it is morse code in turkish language
They're found on every map except Ballroom, not just the Ottoman maps. You can clearly see in the video he's looking at one on Argonne.
just a thought, maybe listening to a code with the gas mask on would clear it up a bit?
Jack Hanrahan that's pretty fucking clever
Jack Hanrahan How would the gas mask make any difference? Just wondering
Gas Mask On" can be a trigger to play the audio differently, whilst, Gas Mask Off" plays another audio.
Simple coding.
Swifty b. from only watching lets plays of BF1 (i dont have it yet) I think the sound changes with it on and I figured "maybe youd focus on the Morse code more"
Man you should have just left this post as a mystery as to whether your suggestion was legitimate, or an amazing pun. Oh well, you still get points.
its the battlefield theme song
It sounds like a sick freestyle beat.
What are you smoking?
Well it could be ... i mean the theme is more than 4 min long and it isn´t only the part everyone knows.
what if you played all of them on top of eachother?? what if we havent found all of them and when you finally get them all and play them over eachother it actually is the theme song?
U on drugs
I've been so ill lately that I can't even play games without having a massive headache feelsbadman
Michal Ignas feelsbadman
Michal Ignas I know I used to get that mate...
Michal Ignas Used to happen to me too when I was younger. You'll get used to em or they'll go away. I only get em once in a while now. Feel better soon m8
I never got that. When I was ill I couldn't play because I couldn't keep up. Used to play a lot of cod and when I was ill my reaction times were too slow and a mess
Psh you casual! I have migraines all the time but still play because i'm a no lifer MLG ( major looser gamer)
I have one normal/common theory and one crazy theory.
Normal Theory- Morse code isn't in english
Crazy Theory- maybe you have to play all the different messages and only write down the one they all have in common, eliminating the beeps that arent shared
Beathan Steele the crazy one actually sounds interesting. Or do the opposite and only do the ones not shared
ye i had the same idea with the all at once, it would make more sense.
i translated the words on the book..its says "the codes book" ..on the first page it has arabic numbers "which ottomans used to use them" and the other columns contains arabic letters
maybe the more code message plays in the language of the team your playing that's why some are slightly different to others
even crazier theory: the morse code isn't actually a morse code but a song
T e d C r u z i s T h e Z o d i a c K i l l e r (could you imagine)
King Hammurabi The Sixth yea ;)
i wonder if a real ww1 code talker would know what the morse code on each mcom is
Apparently you guys dont get that i already know every ww1 vet is dead, but just imagine if there was one still alive today if they would be able to know what it meant
They are all dead now.
there are ppl alive that can understand Morse code tho. Mayb even some app that translates it
You people are aware that morse code is still used today... Many, many people can understand it.
my grandpa has a ham radio and uses morse code maybe ill ask em what its saying but this guy said its just random numbers
On st Quentin scar some of the Windows for the buildings in the town are lit up with red or yellow lights idk what it is you should check it out
Georg - really
†_Whexican_† yup its very strange but i do believe that it may be a graphical bug
†_Whexican_† yeah I recorded a bit of footage of trying to blow it up and it just disappears:/
It's a bloom artifact. Graphical bug.
I think it's the same visual glitch you see with the ponds in the distance on Ballroom Blitz.
It says if you combine them all "Bernie sanders for life
hussein ali lol
hussein ali nononono it says Hillary killed Harambai
Is it just me or does it sound more like a song than a normal message
epicgaminggames agrreerr
epicgaminggames I was thinking that too.
me2
It's the Jurassic Park Theme song, velociraptors in BF1 confirmed
Then again, Overwatch and Battlefield are 2 different games, and besides, I only mentioned it sounded like a song. Never said it was a song
I love the easter eggs in the Battlefield games. I feel like no other game (besides Indie games or HITMAN) implement easter eggs any more.
xGzeus have u ever played cod zombies?
xGzeus yeah , espacially bf4's easter eggs the one that unlocks the dice camo it was so interesting and complicated at the same time
Perre Mast cod zombies have Easter eggs but not as complicated as battlefields
Perre Mast But Cod zombies has shitty Easter eggs... complete it and u get a cutscene/ beat map... woah so cool... (sarcasm). BF's Easter eggs require much more teamwork and complexity and once completed you get to experience something fucking amazing with the entire lobby(32+ players) such as the Megalodon in BF4. Not just watch a cutscene or take down some boss initiating the cutscene like in cod with only 4 people...
xGzeus Na dude cod zombies has one of the most complex Easter eggs IMO.
This will be Phantom bow 2.0 slingshot edition
ApeBogs aint bf stone age they had the bow in the 1910s
Nathaniel wowchuk I don't think they had compound bows
Pyro Paragon actually the last record kill with a bow in war was during WW2 so it possibly could be a Bow
J Magnone I said compound bows, I don't think compound bows were invented at the time
It unlocks a Pigeon skin for the behemoth, making it a giant pigeon with no weapons, but you can do sick loops in the air.
I like how jackfrags asks us to either leave a like or dislike. He doesn't beg for likes like other youtubers.
I'd love to work on finding it all, but I have no time to do so. Not to mention there's no way I could hunt for anything without getting killed before I get anywhere...
Creepy Productions that's why u join an empty server
Samerkk how to join an empty server bro? Its not like you coupd spawn in
adrian Pizza You can...
A friend of mine told me that he had a glitch a while back before they fixed class leveling. According to him, his Russian 1895 was replaced with a shorter "mares leg" style rifle that had 25 K-bullets and did a flip animation when cycling the rifle. Perhaps this is the Easter egg weapon? I have no proof of this but he hasn't lied to me before. Again. No proof so take that with a grain of sodium Chloride
Probably a revive glitch
Wait, woah. Go back. Let's focus on that "flip animation" lol. Instant favorite gun in the game if it exists.
The Howdah pistol has a flip animation when you pull it out sometimes.
Platfoot wait that happened to me when i first got the game on the standard class of the scout. I just got the game so I just figured it was a thing, wtf was that gun?
the mares leg was in bf4 fucking pleb
Boy I would love to be a developer at dice. Getting to watch the community figure out your little puzzles like this has got to be fun.
love your work on easter eggs Jack keep up the good work. I always enjoy these kind of interesting videos.
Even more hyped up for the next map
Is it just me, or the Morse code really does sound like a song?
Maybe some kind of WW1 song, that soldiers were singing at the time...
love the fact something like this is in the game and jez nearly on the 2 million subs jack :)
I love this stuff so much. Thanks for showing us Jack!
Jack is back on the easter egg hunting!
Well I didn`t say that he had done anything but he`s still hunting and pls I just wrote it for fun don`t take it so serious:)
Damn, cant wait for WW1 desert megalodon
Has anyone tried to use any of the actual ciphers from WW1?
ikr?
Dakota Zelazny It kind of sounds like a song 🤔
Thats what i was thinking. Maybe if they add all the "morse code" recordings together they'll jut get a song
I agree the un-decoded morse does sound like it could be a musical rhythm. Could be like the "birdy legs" easter egg from BF4.
I can't be the only one who's a bit creeped out by all of this, right?
The Bonglord what?
If this freaks you out you should check out "number stations" Look up "Conet project number stations" and prepare to never sleep again
ur not alone
who else remembers jack talking about these headphones long ago?
those morse codes sound like some kind of melody
maybe it is music rather than codes
or maybe its both
It's always a thumbs up for your videos Jack.
soo happy to see these videos appear in my feed again
5 People in a sqaud 5 headphones?
Hessel Jensma the headphones have 5 possible spawns, but the headphones only spawn at one of them, so no :( that dream is over
Looks like Dice have made their own engima machine
When on rush you call in those mortar strikes sometimes you don't hear code but you hear a funky song
You could have to put different Morse codes over other ones, like one on Quentin Scar audio file over the Argonne Forest one and line it up in a certain way
jack. everybody is translating into continental american morse and ITU. translate into gerke, it gives a series of numbers that go with the manual in of morse found in the game. thats the key en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morse_code#/media/File:Morse_comparison.svg use that and gerke. then use the numbers of the l;etters to translate to morse numbers from the book found in game and you will have your answers in short order.
with as long as this is been going, and people mis enterpreting the morse code given by the game and only using itu no wonder it hasnt been solved. the key is gerke, which was used in ww1 in combination with itu and american morse to cyphger transmissions so they took longer to translate. in ww2, as seen in windtalkers they used native american languages and such, like turtle was a tank. but you say i see a turtle in morse code or over the radio it sounded strange. now say that in native language of the inuit and cherokee nations and its even more foreign
GORKE IS THE KEY
ive watched quite a few videos so far. and that is not ITU morse, it is definately gorke. ---- is CH which is throwing a lot of people off and for a loop thinking its a p or an r.
what are the time lines for each map in conjecture with the real war. that might give you the proper order.
Time for me to get involved Jack. Im pretty smart when it comes to figuring out Easter eggs and puzzles.
if i remember correctly there was machine used in ww1 and ww2 to crypt and decrypt messages. it was based on letter shifting in place. it needed 2 numbers as a sypher...
combine the audio and put it in the order that makes the most sense 👌
The problem is they don't know what that order is...
Manny8219 test until it makes sense
Nashorn takes time mate
I know, but what is one to do?
ffsBorthwick We have a shit ton of people doing this if they were to just share all of their info we would get this is a week or two
Hey Jackfrags
have you tried typing the "song" you recorded into a internet rhythm tapping website?
i tried and got a song called
Le Sacre du Printemps Part 1 intro - by Igor Stravinsky
please note that this song translates to (The Rite of Spring) and was made in 1913
The ones you had recorded did sound like music to me as has been mentioned in the comments elsewhere, if the song could be identified then perhaps that might be a "key" of sorts, its lyrics or the notes filling in blanks to retrieve a message. Either way this is a real head bender, big ups for all those who dedicate their time to satisfy their curiosity!
That map that you look towards at 5:08 is a diagram of the Argonne map, and there are several like it hanging up in the bunkers on Argonne. There is one is the small room right across from the room that you found the headphones in. I wonder if it's connected at all or if it's just a cool detail because Argonne is the next operation after Ballroom.
1:16 "its a logical assumption to make that this is morse code"
Wow Jack, what gave it away?
it obviously unlocks "FUS RO DAH"
LOVING THE SKYRIM REFERENCES.
LOVING THE CAPSLOCK REFERENCES.
Thanks for the interesting video! will look it up!
Small related(ish) egg. Sometimes calling in artillery from an Mcom plays the classic battlefield theme with the morse code beeps.
Not sure if its in any way related, but it happened to me on the first objective on Amiens, the one in the building near the railroad tracks.
Can u feel it guys? EASTER EEEEEGGGSSSS!!!!
now answer the mystery of how to join a game where you dont lose every objective in the first 2 minutes because half your team are scouts
Headphones were found on ball roomblitz at the 3rd A on operations on a pillar
I do remember seeing that same exact note jack found in the tobacco box somewhere in battlefield 1
Its obviously gonna give you pigeon UCAZ with tiny plane engine on its back
I want it to unlock the Shovel Suppressive variant with extended mag and sniper features
I wonder if they'll put anymore easter eggs in or this could be a build up for something bigger in the near future
I don't know if this easter egg or just part of the game but when playing on Fao fortress or Empires edge in conquest or operations and when the Dreadnought almost underwater you could hear like a growl or roar from a creature along with the metal wrenching the dreadnought makes when it makes a massive explosion but the noise can only be heard if you're next to the ship's wreckage while on a PT boat I dont know it maybe just be the ship making the noise
Record all of them including variations. Play them back, it may be The BallRoom Blitz by Sweet
Beau Reedy
holy shit youre pretty gud.
To the top m8 @jackfrags
This community is capable of some amazing shit
No one thought about how it sounds rhythmic, like music? Maybe its a song. There was an Easter egg of the battlefield 1942 theme in Morse code already, so it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that there are other song Easter eggs in bf1 too
Hi jack, just wanted to tell you to check out the Rush gamemode on the Empire map, cuz when I used the telegraph once it didn't give me the usual morse code sound, but it gave me an interesting melody sound..
Just watched the Operation Red Crow stream! The new attacking operator is amazing! :)
els van win The PC final was amazing!!!
Joshe Manu Yeah it was indeed!
no more bandit trick, great news for ranked
sanY Yeah, but I do hope she is not a must-have, that she isn't too OP.
els van win from a weapons standpoint it seems like a thermite 2.0, so not that good
what about the blinking light on ballroom bliz near a objective i think that thats some kind of light signal code
I think, I saw a MCOM at operations in the first sector of Ballroom Blitz near the B objective in the trench at the rim of the map (near that fieldgun)
If there's no headphones/mcom on Ballroom it could be the map that contains the decipher? It seems like a good way to make smaller hard to find clues by concentrating it down into a single map for the next step. Also maybe Minutemen reference maybe with the paintings?
That is not morse code its just the battlefield theme song.
But if you take those ''higt dots'' and put them together you get code?
I recon you have to overlay the Morse code and ballroomblitz has a secrete chamber containing something like the phantom bow or that graveyard in hardline room thing
In the pre game of conquest in st Quentin scar there was a huge red light coming off one of the houses in the centre.
That pistol you held in the first clip was so ugly it made me uncomfortable lol
its mores code for stay tuned were working on microtransactions xD
Okay so here's my theory for ballroom blitz, when you destroy every statue, an audio clip plays out. also there's some writing in Latin on the statue of the deer being eaten by the dog. also, when in a plane, there's a fountain on the map that reflects green lights when flown by at a certain angle. there's also manuscripts on a table that look like a code book and have the word "December" in German on them but the rest of the writing is in English.
Jack try looking around in the cockpits of the airship and dreadnought. I know there's writing on some stuff in them, maybe there's something in there that could be useful
Cooper found a way to send quantum data from black hole through Battlefield 1
record them all then put them all together
like overlay them
thats a nice idea
Or possibly cancel out whichever ones match across all the samples, and whatever remains is the true message?
Plus that note that he got does come across as something, I mean it is replacing letters for numbers and there are cyphers that do that (Just very basic ones)
that's what i was thinking
I'd take a gander through notable Ciphers and Cipher keys throughout the WWI era. Any keys or unique ciphers relating to high-profile events, events or locations that overlap with those of the game, etc...
i think that the blitz is the trigger coz if you go at the back of the building towards D you can see and empty corridor that is walkable and very well textured. you cant go in by window coz i tried but. the corridor leads to a door and the other end leads to an empty space with a table in the middle.
i assume that the floor is walkable coz if you throw a grenade inside, the grenade wont glitch and wont fall off from the map or from the building floor
some thing to do with the belltower on ballroom blitz
It unlocks the "we fixed the game" mode ;-;
Hey jack I found a pair of headphones on Amiens on operations at the last set of objectives between the train station and building
@jackfrags maybe the Pigpen painting are initals of people. or maybe thats somehow the key to enigma machine
SOMBRA ARG IS BACK BOYS
DEAR LORD NO
YYYYYAAAAAAASSSSSSS
You guys are gonna flip when you find the monster
ark13700
the pigeon will come outta those Sands like fuck all
Battlefield's eater eggs are really notorious. They always hide something tiny in some obscure spot. It's fun to find them tho.
try the enigma machine. btw hose are coordinates H= height l= length pos= position. the numbers are for a enigma machine on top. you set the machine to those numbers then you take the Morse coded messages and type out the letters. either that or the numbers are letters. ballroom blitz is the last map to be unlocked
yo guys just a quick question how does jack get into these private lobbies with him just playing? I'm on console so it may be a different situation
Madlad Junoir server browser
The youtuber just pick a empty server?
Madlad Junoir that should work
AdventuremanNB cant find any
Gusendheit use filters and put where there is 100+ places available
You have WAY too much free time, Jack Frags.
Once at rush, after activating the morse code few times, the morse changed into a melody / song. Can't remember where it was from, but it was some pop song! Only worked once so far
You found the Dice Camo unlock in BF4, you can do it in BF1, we give our moral support. I love your videos, keep up the good work!
notice me jack
Andero Müürisepp eestist?
No shit.
wich pistol is he using ????????
Nicolas Balestrini Frommer Stop Auto
Nicolas Balestrini Hellfighter 1911
Time stamp -_-
Nicolas Balestrini
the Mars pistol.
want proof?
when you kill a guy it tells you what weapon you killed him with
Jack, the pigen cipher can be decrypted by the note in your collectors edition, which can then be used to decrypt the morse code.
@jackfrags
Perhaps decoding the morse code requires the use of an actual cipher that was used in WWI. I would assume that there are a few of those ciphers available from historical military records.
