THANK Y'ALL FOR THE NICE COMMENTS :D I had to rush this one a bit since I leave for a trip on saturday, but even so I'm still really happy with it and glad people enjoy the style I was going for! Wanted to try something a little different with the hatching instead of the usual kind of shading I do, and thought it fit really well with the mostly warm fall colors I went for. (other than starclan scenes, which I like to give more blues and greens to hopefully give a more ethereal or spacey vibe ig???) I also am really happy with my curlfeather design like I cooked with the half face thing... maybe it's a little on the nose but it's cool so idc. I am especially proud of the dogs I drew on her face and chasing her like damn.... But ye I really appreciate the comments so far and I hope to make more stuff like this in the future!!! Thank you guys so much for 3 T H O U S A N D SUBS!!!!!! the fact that 3 thousand people are able to collectively enjoy my content makes my heart so warm :) I hope to make people happy with my animations and art so I'm very glad I can do that and reach this many people :) OK MEOWZERS RANT OVER!!!!!!
Honestly I feel bad for Curlfeather as she thought it was the right thing to do, even after so many terrible mistakes. She didn’t even realise it, and she genuinely still loves Frostdawn 😭💖
Oh I was mega hoping to see a Harpy Hare project of some sort with Frostpaw, especially considering the overprotective, smothering mother meaning being told through the folklore and attributing that to how Curlfeather was so focused on protecting her children that she inadvertently hurt them so much more than she ever could’ve dreamed. Saw the wips on twitter before school a couple of days ago and knew this would be an absolute BANGER of ALL TIME and it of course IS!!!!!! The papery, yellowed texture along with the lovely cross-hatching and warm colors create such a lovely atmosphere, definitely hoping this gets the traction it deserves.
HOLY CAT! This is so underrated i just love it sm! The designs are awesome too!!!! But for a moment i was confused because i thought mothwing was curlfeather and didn’t know who the half-faced cat was supposed to be, but great design choice! It’s like frostpaw always just saw one side of curlfeather…
