As an industrial product designer, this is really impressive. The exposed PCB and having only one way to hold it makes it not an option for me, but the continued weight and geometry optimisations across the different versions have been just crazy to follow along. One thing I can offer advice on, is that since you're using 3D printing anyways, You should offer a left handed version as well, from what I've seen of the PCB and 3D model, it seems as simple as mirroring the shell, so might as well go the extra mile to not exclude any of the already very niche potential customers. Also, if your 3D printing partner offers that option, different colors of Nylon could be nice, especially if finalmouse can make different colors of PCBs to match the shell.
In the "zeromouse" logo it looks like you are using ø, latin small letter o with stroke (U+00F8) used in for example the Norwegian & Danish language. More fitting would be to use the mathematical sign for empty set, Ø (U+2205). The stroke is supposed to be angled more upwards, often close to 60° for the mathematical sign.

Agreed. Hate to see big companies never trying anything new and spamming the same shaped mouse to the market over and over again. Yes "default" shaped mouse is the most popular one and will sell, but i think there is something waiting for us in the future. Same thing happened with wooting and HE-keyboards. I guarantee some company could make a mouse that would be the new g-pro in popularity if they tried something new.
It's not really competition if they're the one selling the product. It's also amazing advertising for them; in this video Ali talks about how their tech is "best in the business", and ultra lightweight mouses are a very niche product, so that funnels anyone interested in a high end gaming mouse straight into Finalmouse's sales channel.
This is sick I remember the first video where he brought up this idea but brushed it off as it would be a long process, props to finalmouse collaborating with him on this. I love how he pushes the limit of peripheral extremes.
Ever since the first video you've inspired me to create my own version of the zero mouse with a hyperx pulsefire I've had laying around collecting dust. I really appreciate the effort you put into the product and videos as I've taken the experiences you've shared to create something of my own. Looks amazing! Sadly it is probably impossible to get for people in the EU. Even if EU shipping is available, it will most likely cost more than the mouse itself (shipping + import tax). Such a bummer, as always. Love the video and product though :)
Side buttons would affect aim on that weight but side buttons are usually used when you don't need precise aim, e.g. melee at the end of a kill, crouching to rotate pre fight. Even non-mouse switch buttons would work since they're not that frequently used, just those square half size switches with a little paddle

I have a question; I know it would be expensive to some aspects but couldn’t you use carbon fibre to make it lighter and durable? Or would that but heavier than what we have already achieved?
Carbon fiber composite is actually quite heavy, it's extremely resistant for it's weight, but what makes carbon fiber composites "light" is that they can use much less material without sacrificing strength. for this application tho, the geometries are way too complex for current carbon fiber manufacturing techniques, and to actually get any lighter it would have to be so thin that you would likely cut yourself while using. carbon fiber composites also basically don't bend at all, the mouse would likely shatter after a few hundred clicks.
This is so sick to see I’m so glad I’ve been able to watch the development of this product and to even have software ready to go at launch I can’t wait to order mine
Super cool to see the progression of this mouse. I was a person who had a shipping issue (and then furthermore an email issue, I still blame Yahoo's mail search btw) and even with the delay (and easy fix since optimum's the goat), I would do it all again over and over if I had to. The old modkit version of the mouse is something I haven't stopped using daily. It's so comfortable and natural that I have even been using it as my work mouse. The weightlessness of the mouse can't really be experienced without...well, experiencing it firsthand. The fact that the mouse is finally getting it's full kit release is just unbelievable. All of the design tweaks to remove weight and make the grip more stable and comfortable, combined with proprietary (not sure of the right term) PCB, switches, and sensor is just unbelievable. I was worried at first when the plans of a standalone product was announced, as I knew how hard it would be to find good producers of the electronics, but FinalMouse collaborating is just unbelievable for everyone involved. Can't wait to buy one.

congrats on launching your own mouse. I like that Finalmouse is releasing the module as a stand-alone. I hope the community makes some STLs to go with the module since I really think we could have some really cool custom mice that way. SLS and SLA are isotropic materials when manufactured so from a structural standpoint This is going to be as strong as any injection molded Nylon part and maybe even stronger since you don't have stress from the part cooling unevenly during the injection process.
its been amazing to see all the iterations you've made on this mouse, insanely cool to see that you've moved from mod kit to full on product. and with a big name like final mouse! also genuinely impressed by the price, $150 is a downright reasonably priced gaming mouse these days :o
Honestly, I’m just glad that this is something that can be made by hobbyists if they go through the printing process (obv you can’t get the dope PCB but at this point I’m so done waiting for my M3K that I’d much prefer using something like this)
7:38 Are those faceted faces on the click paddles intentional? If not, I think there's an option in F360 to up the output file's smoothness. Very cool project either way
So cool that it's going to be a standalone product. My favourite mouse shape got disconnected, now I can download a 3D scan and print a new one. Can't wait.
Just missing some side buttons for the ultimate quake mouse, would be sick to have a mouse with doubled side buttons, like a 3-4 button superlight cluster instead of typical two button. Very niche and probably hard to implement, but would be cool :D

i get that most likely you won't add side buttons for weight saving but perhaps you could add side tilting to the mouse wheel, pushing on it from the left, right and from the top would allow for 3 more mouse buttons with minimal weight added
This does something specific very well, like he said himself, to the point of obsession. But folk don't be fooled by the hype and placebo, this isn't the tree that will replace all mice but it is a branch into some well needed exploration.
Feedback: there's a problem with the space between the triggers, it makes the shape more unnatural and unsafe with pre-determined finger placement, and the reason for that is the scroowheel implementation, i believe that with a lower encoder like the one used in the G-Wolves HSK PRO and some tweaks, the stuff can go under the triggers like every mouse do so you have some space to place the fingers more naturally

Bro got the jxmyhighroller background music. Yall kind of the both the goats of your youtube genre so I respect it.
Yeah i was waiting for there to be a graph or chart just randomly pop up getting ready to blow your mind
Can't wait to get my hands on one of these. Your channel, your work, fascinates me. Keep it up. Hope enough will be produced for everyone that wants it.
Very proud of you man for doing something so creative and so inspiring!
Do you know when falcon comes out? The possiblity to have the best pcb but create your own 3d bodies to mold to your own hand sounds amazing
The next iteration will just be a laser diode taped to pinky finger, and haptic mousepad for the button press.
That's what I'm thinking. Some sort of fingertip + advanced mousepad combo.
Still too heavy for him. He needs it to make his hands lighter so he can get MAXIMUM SKILL LEVEL
@@grunzythepotato exactly, just remove a pinky finger
@@RicochetForce 2025 is the year of trackpad gaming, only need 1 finger to operate lol
@@tapebysea Bro, I would laugh my ass off if the endpoint of all this is just a damn trackpad.
Have to respect finalmouse for enabling competition for the sake of progress
So happy for you, been following for quite a time and the things you've achieved...awesome work man!!
thats crazy that finalmouse were interested & that you got them to make a pcb for your brand. Rare YT product releases like this are so cool dud
Nice! Just curious though, why not use optical switches?
Battery life I assume
How do you make the floating product shots? Are those actually Blender renders? 0:22 for reference
obvious renders, look at the PCB.
@@-eMpTy- okay
not that obvious i think. but yes, definitely renders. :)
Ever since the first video you've inspired me to create my own version of the zero mouse with a hyperx pulsefire I've had laying around collecting dust. I really appreciate the effort you put into the product and videos as I've taken the experiences you've shared to create something of my own. Not that anyone would see this but i just wanted to share that using an extremely light mouse is an incredible feeling and if you guys are thinking about making your own version, go for it!
this is one of those channels that is mind-blowingly good
i might have considered getting one, but no side buttons is a complete dealbreaker
Looks amazing! Sadly it is probably impossible to get for people in the EU. Even if EU shipping is available, it will most likely cost more than the mouse itself (shipping + import tax). Such a bummer, as always.
Love the video and product though :)
1:45 why do you have a highground keyboard on your desk?
Why ? Whats wrong with that?
@ he has a custom wooting keyboard
Side buttons would affect aim on that weight but side buttons are usually used when you don't need precise aim, e.g. melee at the end of a kill, crouching to rotate pre fight. Even non-mouse switch buttons would work since they're not that frequently used, just those square half size switches with a little paddle
I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE BUT TRYING TO GET A MOUSE FROM FINAL MOUSE IS THE EQUIVALENT OF TRYING TO WIN THE LOTTERY!
We’re so back
I've been waiting and waiting for sooo long, it feels, since the mod-kit got out of stock. I expected another mod-kit to come out, but this is pure insanity. I'm so glad, both for us consumers and you as an entrepreneur, that you've made a full mouse. I can't wait to try it out!
what song is that at 2:20? it sounds beautiful
Fancy seeing you here 😂
@@xVeano lol that's crazy, I want this mouse so bad
@@Willicur me too tbh bro, sold out now though, this op1 8k is soo good man! hope your injury is healing well and you can get back to aiming. just purchased a 360hz QD OLED 1440p comes tomorrow, so buzzing! I followed you on all your socials aswell, love ur content. keep it up. you from uk or us
@@xVeano Thank you I really appreciate that, I got my op1 too and I used it a bit and it feels fantastic to aim with, Im hoping to get the PG27AQN soon, that thing looks perfect
I assume it’s a royalty free song from a music library somewhere because I’ve heard it in other videos too. I know jxmyhighroller uses it in pretty much every video
Congrats, incredible how far ahead of the industry you are. Keep at it 👍🏼
I don't even play games but love and appreciate what you've done here. Sub 20 grams is no joke. Major props to you man for bringing this to market. Greets from the UK
this man is creating his own sponsored ads with his own content WHAT A MADMAN
Not Batman of gaming for nothing
did bro just got anamorphic lens
How is this already sold out? T-T
This one isn't released yet, must be the older version you're looking at
Nevermind, I'm stupid.
@@majkwazowski6063no you’re not lol. It says “coming end of q1 2025.”
I never thought I would want this... until I looked down at my hand fingertip gripping my mouse. Truly an enthusiast project. I love it.
You are my absolute favourite RUclipsr man, its amazing to see your passion an quality in your videos, and clearly much more as well. Always happy to tune in!
I already missed the pre order and i checked 13 MINUTES after launch 😓
I don't think there was a preorder option?
@ it says sold out on the link for the product page, with the price $150. I assumed i missed it but "sold out" seems weird if it's a live product page that's not enabled.
@@turn1p
I think he just listed it with stock set to zero in the backend. Wouldn't make sense for him to not mention that it's available for pre-order in the video.
@ dang it, I definitely won't be any faster when it's really time 😅
Babe wake up, batman is making another banger mice
Props to Final Mouse for this. Super Based.
hey optimum i love the brutalist rooms/warehouse/whatever the hell place your in. I love brutalism and it makes your videos SOOOO appealing and calming. i love the grey simplicity of the walls. (love the vids)
200$ is pretty crazy for something 3d printed.
ah shit, here we go again
We need side button version ⬇
Yeah, as a very casual gamer where occasional TF2 is my most competitive title, it was a night-and-day difference for me when I rebound the 1/2/3 weapon switch keys to forward/back/MMB. Those forward/back side buttons are beyond essential.
Might be a large ask but with future revisions would you consider making the mouse upgradable?
“Where’s my mouse???”
the mouse in the other side of the room you didn’t notice you threw cause it’s so light:
If the shell is 3d printed, is there an option for a mirror, lefty version?
bro i just love to open your channel and see that u uploaded
the editing and the video quality is insane
its pure satisfaction
i have been subbed for almost a week
and i have watched like 7 videos already
keep up the good work
Optimum's shoots are always INSANE!!!!
its also worth pointing out injection molding has incredibly high up front costs, and only makes financial sense if you're doing large batches
this makes custom mice that people can 3d print their own, opens the door to so much possibility so cool!
Very impressive, missed out on the previous drops hopefully I can get in on this one. Watching your growth over the past years has been great.
You got the ultimate keyboard built, the ultimate mouse, now it's time for you to start making monitors lol
I mean gaming and tech aside, these videos are a just a pure feast for the eyes.
If you would release a course or something on your whole film making process I would happily buy it.
this is next level design tbh, i can see in the future weird futuristic mouses that are so light they almost wrap around your hand
congrats on launching your own mouse.
Honestly, I’m just glad that this is something that can be made by hobbyists if they go through the printing process (obv you can’t get the dope PCB but at this point I’m so done waiting for my M3K that I’d much prefer using something like this)
I love your minimalistic aesthetic when it comes to computers matches my mojoo
7:38 Are those faceted faces on the click paddles intentional? If not, I think there's an option in F360 to up the output file's smoothness. Very cool project either way
So cool that it's going to be a standalone product.
My favourite mouse shape got disconnected, now I can download a 3D scan and print a new one.
Can't wait.
Just missing some side buttons for the ultimate quake mouse, would be sick to have a mouse with doubled side buttons, like a 3-4 button superlight cluster instead of typical two button. Very niche and probably hard to implement, but would be cool :D
all im gonna say is that mouse is BEAUTIFUL
I love that finalmouse will be making this a standalone pcb through this. I think this could really be a game changer if people embrace the idea.
Truly optimum tech, this man is insane. Makes me wish i was an mnk game lol
I hope you make another version of this mouse with side buttons
Excellent work. Great to see how the project has grown and you with it. Can't wait to test it myself :)
i LOVE the zerömouse v.35 !
It was not cheap too complete with high polling
but man my hand loves you bro ❤
One of the first mice ive never had any trouble with grip hand fatigue or aiming hitches with !
I dont feel my grip weaken, because i aint use it. Now the preassure is so evenly laid down from my shoulder its scary ,
I remember death gripping my old mouse so much just to "get around" the shape that was holding me back in thight spots
And with v.35 modkit i have no trouble
I main it .
AND AM SATISFIED BEYOND MY IMAGINATION headshot whatever i can click it fast as heck
You have created next level technology all on your own😮 you make these companies look silly, seeing that no one has gone down this path (that i know of at least). Great videos and great work man, cant wait to see the future brings 🙂❤️
i get that most likely you won't add side buttons for weight saving but perhaps you could add side tilting to the mouse wheel, pushing on it from the left, right and from the top would allow for 3 more mouse buttons with minimal weight added
