I learned about coin collecting from my grandma rest her soul. She taught me all about the markings and errors in minting etc I have been saving every wing back penny and any other different looking coins ever since. It's fun to go through them! Thank you for the valuable information!
A bit of information that will truly add meaning to my collection... Thank you for sharing ! Sharing this kind of information is what sets you apart from all the others ! We appreciate you greatly, Take care !
Iv got them all, plus extras that are errored. I wish i could sell them all as a bundle. Any thoughts on how much that would be. I have all 4 in great mint State and a Total of 4 more thst are of 2 erorred.
Again thank you for the information! I have three of the coins but only one is in great shape 😕 I will save them just the same because I don’t have them. And every time I scroll down to comment, I see 1 million other videos that I need to watch from you but I just don’t have all day because I’ve got to get to the store so I can fix my dinner! Chili Verde and I need some green chilies 🌶 When I come back, I shall continue the videos as half of them look too interesting to pass! I appreciate all the tipsJ&B! Don’t know where I would be without you!!!
Not having collected any pennies since I was a kid. I have well over half a million that were in a jug for 50 years so no need to give you an Idea of the age of these pennies. Unbelievable but all this modern day ingo just shoots right over my head. The grading numbers and all that just loses me entirely. Thank God for the internet and still get lost.
Just got an unopened uncirculated set in the mail today. Opened it and immediately found 2 errors 1) Lincoln penny double thumb variety and 2) double die reverse on the District of Columbia quarter. I haven’t even gone over the full set yet….
How can you tell if you have the rare penny? Do i use a magnet? I am new to this, because i have so many coins and odd currency, That i have put in my cpin jar. Not any odd coins though i have them separate. I also gave a George Washington token/ trader coin. I never see it on any sites. It's a USA coin. Any way Thank you✌
Low mintages and lots of things seem to becoming the norm for the US Mint! I think my math is correct when I try to figure out the total mintage of the S minted uncirculated quarters for the Tuskegee Airmen, in all the options I believe it's 845,940
I found a 2009 D Penny and it was turned to its back where Lincon is sitting down on the log stump. I took a look at the penny thinking I'd be from 1970-60 because I am sometimes finding wheat pennys that look old with the wheat design but I was shocked because a 1981 penny has a normal back but a 2009 has this Lincon background as back. I knew something was special about this penny if you guys want to see it or buy it off me let me know I have alot of other rare coins I'll be Glade to share pics of them and show them sell and trade whatever. :)
I found a Circulated 3.2 gram 2009 presidency penny it is not cameo with the satin finish it is a standard Circualted penny. Red book says only the special edition satin finish coins weighed 3.2 grams. Your thoughts?
Low mintage is fine. But unlike the historic low mintage pennies you mentioned, these were minted to be collected. So years from now 98% of them will still exist.
Did I hear you right they are made of copper and not zinc in need just the mint set or is the proof set copper also if you could let me know I'd appreciate it please God bless
I inherited 4 rolls of the Philadelphia mint penny rolls. Never opened they have all 4 different Lincoln commemorates on them. What do you think they could be worth
Buy all you can get at a decent price. There are 10 $1 President coins, 12 quarters, 2 JFK halves. So if you pay $25 for the set, there are $14 in real money you get to keep. So your real price is basically around $10. The Pennies are worth $18-$36 for all 8 and only going up. So it’s def worth it.
I knew that there was a reason that I subscribed to your channel. I appreciate the heads up that you give to your fellow numismatists. This is exciting news.
hey im relly lost at what I found . it was covered in complete grease had no clue what kindof coin it was . I asked around and ppl told me it was junk. I started cleaning it and it turned pink. but now I can see this coin is a error. it has multiple clashes of quarters between 2005-2009.ive looked online couldnt find much . is this anything speical because to me its really cool
Hello can you tell us how do we know that the mint set will come in a sealed box when buying online the description says in original package from mint but not be a sealed box like just showed us.
I just found myself a set of these and bought one. PCGS don't have much premiums on these Lincolns, so not worth grading. But I suppose they'll increase in value over time? Thanks JB. Another awesome video.
Hey ok I have the same sets and glad I did listen to you thanks, but I have another fine in the Philadelphia set 2 out of the 4 president dollars have a different tone than the other 2 hmmm wonder why...
I'm sure you know what you're saying is all good, but I'm curious to know how exactly are you to know that those pennies are from the same metal used in 1909? How can you tell? I really appreciate your input. I'm trying to learn as much as I can because I just started collecting coins. Thanks again for the video, it was great.
I have one gorgeous im about to put it on ebay if it doesnt work out Jb i wanted to see if you could help me get rid of all my coins mainly Lincoln cents but i just added a 2004 Wisconsin quarter that had a double leaf or leaf in between both leaves
I hold onto 6 extra 2009 sets for that reason, the other coins have low montages but like you said that's the extra special part. The low mintage of the 2010,11,12 quarter are under the radar also. I believe that the 2012 set has a few quarters that are extra low. Cool to see someone make that known there's a lot of people that don't realize that.
My gpa is a coin collector and he all the state quarters & he has a lot that are uncirculated. I will have to show him your video tomorrow. Just hard finding buyers . Thank you
I just received an set and found that the pennies to be scuffed, dented and scratched in places. (Other coins as well) I can't seem to find anything on the plastic in the same spots as the damage. Since it was in a sealed box it is no fault of the seller but that means the mint sent out a less than quality product. Wonder how many other unopened boxes have poor quality coins enclosed that no one will see until the box is opened... oops too late! I guess it is just luck of the draw...
What’s the difference to a business strike? The satin finish and business strike look the same to me? Maybe it’s because they are not in my hand to see it for my self. Not sure.
I know this is probably going to sound really weird either way but I found three different kinds of 2009 pennies and circulation that are copper they weigh 3.1 G the chances of finding a satin finish 09 copper penny that was busted out of a mint set is strange enough but finding three of them and they just look like regular pennies that's been in circulation is there a way that they can tell if the pennies are satin proof or not if they're circulated
I've got a couple of pennies that are about the diameter of a pencil eraser. I don't know if they are actually worth anything. I can't find any information about them but they are kind of weird.
@@bbcoinsinc I have a couple rolls of uncirculated 2009, should I have some graded? I had ordered 2010 rolls, was an accident that I had received a couple 2009 rolls in with them.
I've just came into a book of pennies that start from 1945 up to 2000 I wonder if any of them are worth anything.bought it at a auction for $10.some are missing I say bout 10 but hey maybe I got a 1,000 dollar penny who knows.
Is there a PL 2009 or just proof ? I sent my coin the Precidency to PCGS and it came back as 67 + PL = PROOF LIKE ? I thought there was only satin or proof and not PL? ????
I saw one for 30¢ another for $30 and one that is going for about $2,000 I have the same penny bro and I'd just say lol keep it or put out a bunch of Amazon sells for it till someone buys it. I'm thinking of putting out multiple sells with different prices starting out at $30 and going to $250 I will stop at $250 cause honestly it's just a penny I'd be glad if anyone even offers 1 buck. 🤣
I have all 4 of linvoln presidency in mint condition... I have an extra of him facing ...not in so mint condition... But its not minted either. Where as all the rest are D... And shiny as hec... And was in my pocket change😂😂😂😂. I saw a video about them and dude said"these are very rare, you wont find them in your pocket change...." But I did...
Geez this video piqued my interest. (along with your other 2009 cent videos) Im wondering if one of my ‘09 sets was struck on wrong planchets for the manner theyve aged in ten years? 95% copper should maybe brown from red but not turn silver with age? The red is bleeding to blonde over time.Im baffled. The BU satins and Proof sets like, most copper runs Red to Brown but this is a first(except 1943) to run white on me. TYVM nice tip- pay attention to composition. Nice 2009 should value increase if coin norms hold in future.(imho)

I watch your videos regularly and get a wealth of knowledge about errors in the state quarter series. Great job!
Bought a set about a month ago ... Thinking of getting a couple more! Thank you, as always, for the great information! Y'all are tops!
A bit of information that will truly add meaning to my collection... Thank you for sharing ! Sharing this kind of information is what sets you apart from all the others ! We appreciate you greatly,

Just picked up the P & D set on eBay for 27 bucks! =D Thank you for all of your very valuable information!

What is the best book to help me identify errors in Lincoln cents?

Thanks for the great info on this satin set. I will pick up a few and maybe high graded ones as well.
Thanks for this video. Very informative!
Good to know. Thanks for the heads up!
Your voice sounds like Casey Cason my favorite radio personality from years back. 😁

I have a 2009 D penny, like no penny I have ever seen. It looks gold to me, and it sticks to the magnet.
I want it!
I have a gold colored '75, like perfect condition!! I have always wondered why it was that color!!
Im gonna try to pick this set up today! Love it
Low mintage is fine. But unlike the historic low mintage pennies you mentioned, these were minted to be collected. So years from now 98% of them will still exist.
Gotta have one

He said the proof pennies are Cooper too!!! Have a good hunt
So true.
Great video! Thanks!

Hey J&B! Should we buy more than One Set? I’m getting them now.

Thanks William, J&B

Where can I sell these coins? I been searching but I have no clue
Thanks for the show, as always. I’ve got a few sets stashed away

Thanks JB hope all is good.
Hey ok I have the same sets and glad I did listen to you thanks, but I have another fine in the Philadelphia set 2 out of the 4 president dollars have a different tone than the other 2 hmmm wonder why...
I will have to look for these. I've always wanted the satin finish cents anyways but to have all minted coins in satin is just the icing on the cake
I have this set make an offer
How do you buy from the mintp?
Wow thanks j and b will definitely try remember this info!
Is there a link or anywhere you can find both satin finish uncirculated sets?
My ancestors love you for providing me with this information... lol. Thanks!

My gpa is a coin collector and he all the state quarters & he has a lot that are uncirculated. I will have to show him your video tomorrow. Just hard finding buyers . Thank you
If it does not have a mint mark, how do you know whether it is an S or a D?
Where did you get these particular sets on this video and how much did they cost who did you get them from
the US Mint in 2009 but you can buy them on eBay for example
Wasn’t aware. Thanks for the info
Thank you for all the info you share with us
Thank you April for watching! J&B

probably many of them are poor quality; our set have a mix of very nice to very poor!

how can i get the same set
Thanks for sharing.
I found a DDO Nickel in one of my sets.
Where did you buy yours
Very nice video thanks
Is that only for 2009 proof and uncirculated? Or if you find a circulated 2009 is it the same?
The low mintage only - uncirculated P&D
The metal composition- - uncirculated and proofs
@@bbcoinsinc I have a couple rolls of uncirculated 2009, should I have some graded? I had ordered 2010 rolls, was an accident that I had received a couple 2009 rolls in with them.
Just hoping thier is a 1909 vdb not a S but plain like the description shows
I've just came into a book of pennies that start from 1945 up to 2000 I wonder if any of them are worth anything.bought it at a auction for $10.some are missing I say bout 10 but hey maybe I got a 1,000 dollar penny who knows.
