I learned about coin collecting from my grandma rest her soul.
She taught me all about the markings and errors in minting etc
I have been saving every wing back penny and any other different looking coins ever since.
It's fun to go through them!
Thank you for the valuable information!

I hold onto 6 extra 2009 sets for that reason, the other coins have low montages but like you said that's the extra special part. The low mintage of the 2010,11,12 quarter are under the radar also. I believe that the 2012 set has a few quarters that are extra low. Cool to see someone make that known there's a lot of people that don't realize that.

Low mintages and lots of things seem to becoming the norm for the US Mint! I think my math is correct when I try to figure out the total mintage of the S minted uncirculated quarters for the Tuskegee Airmen, in all the options I believe it's 845,940

I'm sure you know what you're saying is all good, but I'm curious to know how exactly are you to know that those pennies are from the same metal used in 1909? How can you tell? I really appreciate your input. I'm trying to learn as much as I can because I just started collecting coins. Thanks again for the video, it was great.

I found a 2009 D Penny and it was turned to its back where Lincon is sitting down on the log stump. I took a look at the penny thinking I'd be from 1970-60 because I am sometimes finding wheat pennys that look old with the wheat design but I was shocked because a 1981 penny has a normal back but a 2009 has this Lincon background as back. I knew something was special about this penny if you guys want to see it or buy it off me let me know I have alot of other rare coins I'll be Glade to share pics of them and show them sell and trade whatever. :)

Low mintage is fine. But unlike the historic low mintage pennies you mentioned, these were minted to be collected. So years from now 98% of them will still exist.

Buy all you can get at a decent price. There are 10 $1 President coins, 12 quarters, 2 JFK halves. So if you pay $25 for the set, there are $14 in real money you get to keep. So your real price is basically around $10. The Pennies are worth $18-$36 for all 8 and only going up. So it’s def worth it.

Geez this video piqued my interest. (along with your other 2009 cent videos) Im wondering if one of my ‘09 sets was struck on wrong planchets for the manner theyve aged in ten years? 95% copper should maybe brown from red but not turn silver with age? The red is bleeding to blonde over time.Im baffled. The BU satins and Proof sets like, most copper runs Red to Brown but this is a first(except 1943) to run white on me. TYVM nice tip- pay attention to composition. Nice 2009 should value increase if coin norms hold in future.(imho)

I know this is probably going to sound really weird either way but I found three different kinds of 2009 pennies and circulation that are copper they weigh 3.1 G the chances of finding a satin finish 09 copper penny that was busted out of a mint set is strange enough but finding three of them and they just look like regular pennies that's been in circulation is there a way that they can tell if the pennies are satin proof or not if they're circulated
