Excellent video! I used to wear my Casio G-Shock GX-56GB, then switched to an Apple Watch, then Garmin Fenix 6X….now I’m thinking of another Casio G-Shock…or the Garmin Instinct Tactical 2X Solar…..I’m in a similar dilemma!

Get the Instinct 2X! I would but it's bigger than a G-Shock so I'll stick with the Suunto for now. Though I'm tempted to downgrade to a Suunto Traverse Alpha. I found that I don't need the heart rate and blood oxygen thing 🙄

I just buy the GBD about 3 weeks ago and before I have the apple watch; in my opinion i'm very satisfied with the casio, the gps running very good, the heart rate also, swimming... the night mode...; the truth is a very competitive watch. The battery support 1 week training 2h per day. I'm going to put the apple watch to sell. I bought the casio vs the garmin for the design and casio seems more durable to me. All the best!

I like that garmin gives you the option to use the wings or the straps. I know casio is doing integrations with polar but I've had polar watches before and really found the data and interface lacking compared to Garmin. Also I really feel like companies need to fully invest in a direction otherwise they drop support eventually. The polar I had had android wear integration but then after a while they stop updating and it gets dropped. And price wise...Even the instinct 2X solar is much cheaper than the casio. has more features ( in terms of tracking activities) and my previous garmin lasted for years so I know I can trust them for support and even for walk-in centers.
