How to FIX Bosch dryer E90 Error

- 1. It is good to clean the filters first and make sure the sensors are also clean from dust and cloths remains.
2. also make sure the water pipe is not blocked - try to blow air with your month and listen if you hear water bubbling sound - if so - it is open and not blocked.
3. Power off the Machine.
4. Turn it on to any of the modes and as soon as you hear the machine "clicking" - before displaying the E90 Error - BANG the RIGHT side of the Bosch Drying Machine .
5. It should come back to life.
The reason the machine don't work - although you clean all the filters and sensors and places. it is because some places are hard to reach. therefore by hitting and banging the machine the dirt and cloth remains - fall off and the sensors give a "good to go" to the machine to start.

Bosch Serie 4 Tumble Dryer Model No. WTN83200GB. Can't believe it but after cleaning all the fluff out and putting it back together it still didn't work. So I banged the side and it worked! Absolutely brilliant, thanks.

Thank you so much, my 25 month old Bosch suddenly sprung the E90 warning code despite little use since new. Cleaned it all out but there wasn't much fluff or lint in it. I even took the lid off to check the connections.
Turned it back on and it still didn't work but I could hear the relay clicking so a good old right hander to the machine and hey presto it fired straight into action, unbelievable, hopefully this has saved me a few hundred quid in repairs on such a new machine.
I had this error the third time just today. Everytime I come back to this video, evertime being in disbelief. Kick it!
I cannot believe it. I wanted to bring our series 8 still in warranty dryer to the service and then I saw this video. I had to try this and.. IT WORKED!!! That was awesome!! Thanks 1000x for posting it!

First time I got this error, I cleaned the filters and it turned on right away.
This way the second time I got this error but after cleaning out the filters it still wouldn't work.
I watched your video up to the secret lint container and found one in my PITSOS drier which was filled with nasty goop. I cleaned it all out but still wouldn't work ..
So I continued your video.
When I saw your final advice was to bang on the drier a few times, I busted out laughing! ...but tried it anyway. 😁 IT WORKED!!! haha

The method worked for me. Not needed to turn on machine in my case, just 3 strong bangs from the right side.
Be aware this fault is caused by a burnt relay on the pcb. Risk of fire if not repaired correctly.

Nah not necessarily. I cleaned the dust collector and the filter and it worked right after, not a coincidence.
I had exactly the same problem. I followed the "banging protocol" just when the relays ticking sound begins. It worked!!!! The dryer start working. It was a real saver in a rainy day. Thank Avi for this excellent tip. However, for me, it is a short term solution. Every time I need to make it work, I need to repeat the banging . My dryer is only 2 years old, and I rarely use it. Shame on you Bosch for such a poor quality product.

For anyone having this problem, you need to call in a Bosch technician. It's a faulty electronic board. I just had this serviced so this is the real problem and nothing else.

Just got this on my machine that’s not even 6 months old and we normally keep on top of cleaning it out. Our last dryer only lasted 4 years so I’m not sure how good these things are.

Most probably you trigger the non functionng relay work again.
The E90 code can also mean that a wire is not plugged in inside the machine.

I wonder if dryers are just bad. Our first Beko one lasted 4 years or something. Current Bosch one has got this error code after just 6 months. Didn’t want to be spending 1000 on a dryer…
