I’m still confused how woodpecker electro is better. You get a whole 40% more basic attack and dash attack damage bonus when using polar metal. And all u get is a 9% attack bonus on woodpecker. I can also still use the 2 piece woodpecker for more crit rate as well
Dude's build is hella wrong. Polar Metal is way more damage and having the ice damage bonus means it scales multiplicative with existing attack bonuses while the woodpecker is additive. The only way woodpecker is better if you have like three times as much % ice dmg bonus as % attack bonus.
@@afilthyweeb8684 no, the woodbecker set stacks up to 3x (1x for each type of skill in the description mentioned) which equals 27%. In ZZZ entering combat converts your atk stat and all additional permanent attack buffs into conbat base attack. Meaning all atk % gained IN battle scale of your combat base which is typically MUCH higher than your characters base atk. Coming from vr tests with my ellen: She has 1699 atk and after triggering all 3 stacks from woodpecker she gained an additional 459 atk!! Polar metal does NOT increase the dmg from chain, special, ex special and ultimate attacks while regular atk increases all dmg

@@alexfelker2361 hm very interesting. Why doesn’t the woodpecker say that it stacks? If that’s the case then they should add the 3x stacks to the set so we can read it. But yeah now I see how it can be super powerful

I was pulling for soukaku and ended up getting a 5 star was scared of winning the 50/50 because 8 had ellen joe already but instead I got lycaon which I did not have and now have guaranteed banner next time finally my luck is coming I have so many qiqi and lost to so many others so glad to see my luck come around .

I started a seele. She carried me until Kafka came out. Considering it was refilled, it was def worth.
I tested out ice damage vs attack disk 5. Every damage the ice damage is higher but for shatter damage it scales with attack better idk why.

question... say if I'm building ellan as a solo dmg agent, what disc drives 4 and 2 piece would I need to use to the most for ellans damage output? also say she doesn't have any other ice agents to help her.
You can also swap characters backwards by pressing C

I think you got the stun rotation wrong. The first thing you should do is spend an ice charge with a normal attack so Ellen activates her talent anda gain de Critical damage bust, then use de Ultimate, and then de Ex combos
Great video. I have a question how to I activate the BA3 do I have to do BA1+BA2 meaning pressing square 3 times in a row to do a BA3? Sorry I downloaded this game yesterday still pretty new at it

it's depend on your style, but all-round set should be 4 piece polar + 2 piece woodpecker

Lost my 1st 50/50 just to hit Lycaon instead and then hit Ellen and her W-engine in 30 pulls. The gatcha has trully blessed me.
Now hoping to get her to 2nd Mindscape :3 (i think i might have used up all my luck with how its going so far 😂)

I got c1 ellen in about 70 pulls now im pulling for her engine
thank you for the vid! i got 3 ellen in 55 pulls and her engine in 20 pulls, truly blessed! One thing to note for M2 ellen is, u should always go for charged dash atk bc it gives 6 stacks, so this way when u use 3 stacks to get to her 3rd basic atk, u will still have 3 stacks for the crit dmg buff when u proc sharknami

Got Ellen on the first ten pull then her weapon also in the first ten pull. I was doing a couple more pulls since I needed more characters and I only have Koleda as another 5* and don't have Lucy and Piper but ended up getting an early Lycaon at 30 pity so now my mono-Ice team is cracked. 😂 On the other hand, I don't know what to do with my second team lol, 110 pulls in standard was so unlucky.
Ellen C1 is huge.. you can get easily 6* flash recharge with CA or 3* FR with NA. More FR more DPS
I got Ellen on the first ten pull after rerolling, then crazy enough I also got lucky with her weapon coming home in the first 10 pulls. I decided to pull more since I lowkey wanted to see if I can get early C1 and maybe Lucy and Piper too since my standard banner pulls have been terrible, but got early Lycaon at 30 pity instead. I decided to save up my guarantee instead of going for C1. 😂

I wish people would show at what points an A-Rank W-Engine is better than an S5 B-Rank W-Engine. They only ever show S5 A and B-rank, but what if we don't have an S5 A-Rank? is an S1 A-Rank better than using an S5 B-Rank? This would be pertty helpful information that I don't ever see provided. For F2P it's a lot easier to get S5 B-Rank engines and most of the time out A-Ranks are S1-S3 at most. Especially since I'd rather not pull on the weapon banner and save my pulls for characters until much later on when I'm satisfied with my roster and teams.
S5 B rank most of the time would still lose to S1 A rank due to lower base stat
What would you do if you have Rina instead of Soukaku? Could that be better if you have Rina's signature weapon? I'm an F2P player that got insanely lucky drawing Ellen, Lycaon, Koleda, Rina and Grace, along with Rina's signature weapon in a total of ~220 pulls across both banners. Soukaku for me is C5 fyi
WOW THIS MADE ME OPEN MY EYES... I'm a casual player I don't really dive into Meta teams or meta builds, but I didn't even notice that my team is the best in game right now, my first S rank is Von Lycaon to my dismay... I really wanted Nekomata. I got Ellen after I said "fuck it we ball" and prematurely spent my 6 limited pulls and got her on 5th pity, and I also did 1 pull on her weapon cuz why not and I actually got it. I was really happy, then I did a 10 pull on standard after I acquired level up rewards and I got another Lycaon and 2 Soukakos on that 10 pull, bruhv

How about putting all the three-2 piece set effects mentioned here? Atk, ice damage, and crit for an all around build thpe of thing
4pc set bonuses are too valuable for such a spread, though there may be potentially a character that can be optimized in such a way with future sets
Nah, going for 1 full set it the way. Anyway, you will get more attack bonus if you just put 4pcs. woodpecker instead of the 2pc.
I like Ellen a lot but I’m not pulling for her Weapon. Zhu Yuan is coming up and the next banner character after her is looking nice too.

I was going to do the same and said screw it and managed to pull her weapon on the 3rd 10 pull. Zhu Yuan is cool and all but she’s no Jane Doe. Banking everything now until her banner.
Next banners are Qingyi and Jane, Zhu Yuan hopefully after those 2.
I'm new to gachas but isn't it near impossible to pull all of them? I got extremely lucky and I pulled both Ellen and and her w engine but should I go for more? Again I don't really know how stuff works so since she's limited I'm afraid I'm gonna be stuck on mindscape 1 If I stop. Will I be able to pull her agent focus in the future if I already own her?
without her signature w engine, what exact number of crit rate and crit damage should i achieve. I get the part of 1:2 ratio, just wonder minimum and recommended crit rate should i achieve considering her core skill etc
I'd always try to reach 75%-80% crit rate, though 70% would be totally fine (and far easier to reach without her signature w-engine)

YES! The crit main stat and passives are just too good and make it easier to build her and opt for crit damage instead of crit rate.
idk how any of that math adds up for the disc drives 😭 I swapped to the polar set from woodpecker, and it made a huge difference.
10% ice damage, 20% damage (ofc it doesn't include the EX special but still) and 20% more for the additional effect.
all you need is getting even luckier for the stat rolls to make up for the lacking crit rate. I got really lucky 🤷♂️
though I should probably take off the 2 piece anomaly set bcs ice is already easy to trigger thinking ab it... and then it'd be even stronger with crit rate from woodpecker and the polar set.
I'm telling you, compared to every other elemental disc drive, it's broken. you have that innate 20% damage, everything else requires the burn, shock, etc. to be in effect from what I remember reading.

Good vid, but why neglect penguinboo? Big argument to be had if you're f2p or small-whaling and don't plan on c5'ing sharkboo, c5 penguinboo has better dmg multiplier and daze multiplier than a c1 sharkboo.
Yeah but you can choose sharkboo in the bangboo stable banner and basically only get him as an s tier. Also sharkboos attack basically holds enemies in place and its chain attack deals quite a bit of damage

Getting a c1 sharkboo is more likely that a c5 penguinboo. Remember these pulls are limited.
