That first game is like two boxers going into the 8th round, beaten and exhausted, unable to get the K.O. finally resigning to winning by points. What a game
I would love it if the casters explained what various landmarks or special powers do. It's hard to keep track of them all, there are 6 for each civilization + extra special buildings and units.
Bee always seems to have great ideas and out of the box strategies but poor execution of them. Like that tower placement in the stealth forest. If he'd got that down and upgraded unnoticed he'd have been in a much better position. He also seems to have a major aversion to walls. So many times I've seen him lose when all he would have needed was a few walls and it probably would have gone the other way.
Simply too many firelancers than needed, if bee switched to knights + grenadiers + hand cannoneers soon after his successful firelancer raidings, it should easily overwhelm Ruth army. Besides he should send a few vils to the front line and build a few stone walls right in front of nest of bees while fighting in ML's base so these springalds cannot kill them easily and bees can easily shot from behind.
Bee really should build more stone walls in ML's bases after firelancer raidings, and let the grenadiers and hancanooners shot on top of the walls and nest of bees shot from the behind. Besides since he has so much gold left, he could have switched firelancers into knights or even just palace guards which fights way better in hand to hand combats.
I think bee wanted to keep on pressuring mlord. If he did an army switch it would gonna take some time, and give mlord time to set up his own defenses.
It's like in SC2, you have to be high up in the ladder and then attend a few smaller tournaments, earn points by placing high and work up to bigger tournaments. Ofc there are low elo tournaments organised by the community also which are a lot of fun from what I saw.
so many though about this match up. so surprised that 3D!Bee was able to climb to the grand final after his "last cheating issue". he is really playing hard. more surprised..it is 5-0 result...3D!Bee was so low morale in the fifth game and not as shape as the previous 4 games.... Marinlord is really at another level among the toppest players....
"MarineLord is nearly out of wood, he wont be able to replace his production facilities!" but.... the guy is literally sitting on 20k gold? The number is right there, next to the wood count. I really dislike commentators who just say things for the sake of saying things, like they're afraid of leaving a couple seconds of silence to think of something interesting to say 🤷♂

Bee has great ideas/out of the box strategies but his execution of them and his decision making can be pretty poor for a player at this level. He doesn't adapt to what's happening in the game, once his plan stops working he always looks totally lost.

The first game in this series was fantastic. And it was fun to see them play those same civs but swapped again later in the series.

It happened multiple times in the matches when 1 caster sets up the other to explain shit and the other doesn't get the cue.

Closest Sweep I've ever seen. Every game was a real contest, Bee was a great opponent but MarineLord's micro...he turns archers into space marines.

Its ez to say that Bee made lots of mistakes when having full veiw of the game. However, MarineLord sure micros way better and seems to out APM Bee.
You are right and i want to add that marinelord has better decision making in any given time. Sometimes bee looked lost
