What's your opinion on using ATM orders on Ninja? I've been using trado and I love using it's ATM but it's not supported on Group trade (copier). Does ninja have ATM that's similar or close to the one that trado have and that can be used in Group trades?
@JerryTrade28 The ATM works on NinjaTrader well - and with Group Trade via a Trade Copier on NinjaTrader, it works most of the time. I only see an issue where it freezes when you have 20+ accounts, and your ATM includes a trailing stop that adjusts too often. I had an ATM that adjusts every 3 ticks which may have been too often. As of right now, I use the ATM but move my stop manually.

However, the set-up is different with TopStep where you must select "NinjaTrader" as brokerage on check out - I highlighted this in the 5:20 mark of the video I finally tested it when TopStep had a $29 sale, and I can confirm selecting TopStep Tradovate will not work with the Apex Trade Copier

@osng6323 The max I've done is (25) accounts - however, I do not know what the copier's max limitation is. I have used a TopStep NT Account as a lead - so yes, your TopStep Eval as a lead should be sufficient. I've also used a TradeDay Tradovate as a lead. In the past, I've also tried it w/ a Live account as a lead.

@nitinmalik1837 You’re able to trade multiple Rithmic accounts from the same prop firm together. However, the Trade Copier won’t allow multiple Rithmic Prop Firm Connections. As an example, I traded 5 Rithmic TopStep Accounts. Only 1 Rithmic Prop Firm Connection with TopStep. If you have an existing Rithmic TopStep connected to Trade Copier, you won’t be able to add an Apex Rithmic Connection. Hope this clarifies it. (If you look on my community tab on YT, about 2 or 3 months ago on my daily post, I showed a snapshot of trading multiple TopStep NinjaTrader Account with Rithmic connection)

Great vid Rocky. I see you have multiple topstep accounts on your ninjatrader connection. I know that you can only have 1 rhitmic connection (which topstep requires). Does this mean that with 1 rhithmic account you are able to connect to mutiple top step accounts (or sub accounts)? Thanks!

Hello! What kind of license do you have on NT that you can both use Rithmic and COQ data feed? I had issues when trying this before due to the licenses. Do you use your personal account for NT, or do you log in with any tradove username/pwd?
@kosaferi I currently login on NinjaTrader with my personal Account - I did not purchase an NT License, and for a while I did not have Personal Account Funded but I was still able to use the Trade Copier and Trade both Apex, Topstep, Trade Day and Take Profit. CGQ Data Feed is the Tradovate Accounts, As long as you add them under Connections and use the Apex or TopStep or any Funding Firm Log in, your Tradovate Account should show up. Please review at the 8:04 mark of this video As for Rithmic Accounts, I have only tried this with TopStep and had to select "NinjaTrader" at Checkout. This can be seen at the 4:43 mark of the video Also, I was told that you can only have (1) Rithmic Connection in the Trade Copier. I have not been able to test this as I try to avoid Rithmic as much as possible and prefer CGQ. Hope this helps! Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks for your reply, meanwhile I tried this way again. Just another question: Do you trade your own account as well? Here can be somewhere in the middle the problem maybe, because this way seems working if you get market data through your personal account. For me 10min delay in the data jumps in and meanwhile you can log in to mulltiple tradovate accounts without issue , but they are not visible at the accounts. Only the rithmic account is visible. Defenately should be some licensing problem with my personal account in this case. Thanks again for the info bro. Keep going! 🤘
Does the ratio field add additional quantities for larger accounts, ie with your 25k Apex account (main) would be set to 1, and if you wanted Apex times 2 for the topstep you would set to 2.0?
You got it right! It also works the other way where I could do Qty 2 in the lead/main account and do a 0.5 on the Followers where it would then execute Qty 1 contract.
@jkp17 I have tested it but only during Globex, I wasn’t a fan of it since the delta between E-mini and Micro could vary - which sucks if your lead gets taken out and follower didn’t hit the same value but was also taken out. But maybe less of an issue during US hours

@luckypharao51 Apologies for this late response, I missed this question. As long as your desktop is on and the Trade Copier is on, you will be able to alter the lead account via mobile (but I highly discourage this and should only be used in emergencies). When you alter the Stop or Limit on the Lead Account via mobile, all the Follower accounts will also do the same. However, as a caution, this happened to me this week, if you send the wrong command on your lead via mobile, it may cause your followers to execute differently. I had to manually log in to each account and Flatten each account which was a pain.

@XX-do7nq The Apex Trade Copier is Firm Agnostic, so yes you'll be able to trade with TopStep alone. I did in the past, where my lead was a TopStep NinjaTrader with Rithmic Connection (If you select the TopStep Tradovate option on check out, it won't work as you won't be able to add the account to Apex Trade Copier) Hope this helps

@Raviyt2 I can only speak my existing set-up so far - I have a Live NinjaTrader/Tradovate account which I copy trade with my Funded accounts. I tried connecting ThinkOrSwim and couldn’t quite figure it out. I think you’d have to worry about the multiple broker add-on if you add Live accounts from other brokerage

@douglascaverly3749 I sometimes notice this when it's a drastic move with the wick of the candle slightly touching the target and order not executing since there wasn't enough volume/liquidity. It's just unlucky sometimes

@@vincentcjohnson2674Hey Vincent, it's definitely possible (but please be careful) - I traded 20 Apex PAs, 5 Top Step, 1 Trade Day, and 1 Take Profit and 1 Live Account at one point with the Trade Copier. If you check out the Community Tab posts on RUclips, I usually post daily progress. The posts in Mid May should show the multiple accounts. PS: I totally agree with diversifying where you get your funding from.
I am only showing 1 live connection which is TopStep...how do you connect to the other Firms ? I get a message in NT8 saying only 1 connection is allowed.
@neveral0ne The Apex Trade Copier will only allow 1 Rithmic Connection, but you can have multiple CGQ/Tradovate Connection. Unfortunately, when you select TopStep's "Tradovate" brokerage option at sign up, it won't let you add it to the Trade Copier. You can only add it to Trade Copier if you select the "Ninjatrader" brokerage option which has a Rithmic data feed.

@prettybirdjess I just checked, no topstepx connection. However, you can use the Apex Trade Copier with TopStep Rithmic (This is where you select NinjaTrader as Brokerage on checkout - and data feed is from Rithmic)

i was told not to use sim as the leader account to trade copy. does it matter if you use rithmic or tradovate account as the leader? another youtuber told me you should lead with tradovate account so there won’t be any issues with the followers…is this true?
@dontron8897 In theory, all Eval/Combine and PA/XFA accounts are all Simulation accounts. I believe what they mean by not using a SIM as the leader is the SIM101 that usually comes with the account on NinjaTrader. I have lead with the following accounts, and the followers copied the trade accordingly: 1) Live Account 2) Apex Tradovate account 3) TopStep NinjaTrader Account w/ Rithmic Data
You can use Apex license and you can add other prop firms that offer Tradovate. Or you can use TopStep Ninja license and add all the Apex Tradovate accounts plus any other prop firms that offers Tradovate. You can copy trade several prop firms that way.

@microcapcoins A TopStep Account can only be imported into NinjaTrader with Apex Trade Copier if you select "NinjaTrader" as Brokerage at Checkout. With a recent deal, I wanted to test so I purchased a combine and selected "Tradovate" as the Brokerage and I was not able to integrate into NinjaTrader with Apex Trade Copier. Please review at 4:43 mark
@dizonlee9524 @mrawesome2717 Trading with Tradovate from different Funding Firms should work. I personally have used Tradovate from Apex, Trade Day, and Take Profit and traded them with the Trade Copier.
@unpacify It opens as a new Window - not as a Tab if it helps. You’d have to go to New then select Apex Copier on the drop down menu. It’s also recommended to close the Apex Copier separately when closing and saving the workspace.
Bruh! 11 min video to say make sure you select multi broker. I think people are looking at this title misleading. Folks are wanting to trade two seperate props that share the same data ie Rithmic Apex and Rithmic Topstep.

I used the trade copier on APex yesterday and when my profit target was hit the trade didn't close out. Any suggestions or has this happened to you

Like you have 3 topstep showing and 1 apex. Would I be able to have all 10, 5 apex & 5 topstep, accounts copy trading? I hope this does not complicate things but if I have 5 topstep accounts and link the 1 apex account, my lead account , and copy trade using Tradovates built in copier? My goal is to diversify my accounts by spreading 10 accounts with 2 firms. Is that possible using the method in your video? I apologize again if I’m confusing things 🙏🏾
@@vincentcjohnson2674Hey Vincent, it's definitely possible (but please be careful) - I traded 20 Apex PAs, 5 Top Step, 1 Trade Day, and 1 Take Profit and 1 Live Account at one point with the Trade Copier. If you check out the Community Tab posts on RUclips, I usually post daily progress. The posts in Mid May should show the multiple accounts.
PS: I totally agree with diversifying where you get your funding from.
I am only showing 1 live connection which is TopStep...how do you connect to the other Firms ? I get a message in NT8 saying only 1 connection is allowed.
@neveral0ne The Apex Trade Copier will only allow 1 Rithmic Connection, but you can have multiple CGQ/Tradovate Connection.
Unfortunately, when you select TopStep's "Tradovate" brokerage option at sign up, it won't let you add it to the Trade Copier. You can only add it to Trade Copier if you select the "Ninjatrader" brokerage option which has a Rithmic data feed.
Can you add a live tradovate ccount to this and copy? or does it have to be a live account in nija trader?

@thehoodhat27 I am not certain, however I read a blog that @NinjaTrader does not officially support Mac, however users do use parallels on Mac Hardware.

@prettybirdjess I just checked, no topstepx connection. However, you can use the Apex Trade Copier with TopStep Rithmic (This is where you select NinjaTrader as Brokerage on checkout - and data feed is from Rithmic)
Can I trade my main account in tradingview and will the trade copier still see those orders and copy them over to my sub accounts?

just found out lol..... It does. You just need to make your Tradovate account the lead and trade that in TV
@@Makneee thanks, ended up buying the copier but my stop and take profit orders are getting copied over. Works good for market orders tho so I guess that’s a win

i was told not to use sim as the leader account to trade copy.
does it matter if you use rithmic or tradovate account as the leader? another youtuber told me you should lead with tradovate account so there won’t be any issues with the followers…is this true?
@dontron8897 In theory, all Eval/Combine and PA/XFA accounts are all Simulation accounts.
I believe what they mean by not using a SIM as the leader is the SIM101 that usually comes with the account on NinjaTrader.
I have lead with the following accounts, and the followers copied the trade accordingly:
1) Live Account
2) Apex Tradovate account
3) TopStep NinjaTrader Account w/ Rithmic Data

You can use Apex license and you can add other prop firms that offer Tradovate. Or you can use TopStep Ninja license and add all the Apex Tradovate accounts plus any other prop firms that offers Tradovate. You can copy trade several prop firms that way.

I am using Apex's Trade Copier which allows for ATM, and Apex has mentioned that it could be use for other firms

@microcapcoins A TopStep Account can only be imported into NinjaTrader with Apex Trade Copier if you select "NinjaTrader" as Brokerage at Checkout.
With a recent deal, I wanted to test so I purchased a combine and selected "Tradovate" as the Brokerage and I was not able to integrate into NinjaTrader with Apex Trade Copier.

@bluebeasttrader7748 Yes you can, I have used a TopStep account as a Lead and the Apex accounts did copy accordingly
@bluebeasttrader7748 The Apex Trade Copier will allow you to trade via Tradingview. I'm not a Tradingview user - but Apex has a video on this topic.

@mrawesome2717 Trading with Tradovate from different Funding Firms should work. I personally have used Tradovate from Apex, Trade Day, and Take Profit and traded them with the Trade Copier.
i literally cannot get the apex copier to appear in my new tab on NT
@unpacify It opens as a new Window - not as a Tab if it helps. You’d have to go to New then select Apex Copier on the drop down menu.
It’s also recommended to close the Apex Copier separately when closing and saving the workspace.
Bruh! 11 min video to say make sure you select multi broker. I think people are looking at this title misleading. Folks are wanting to trade two seperate props that share the same data ie Rithmic Apex and Rithmic Topstep.
