  • When Volvo introduced the new XC90, the only thing missing was a hybrid powertrain option. The T8 solves that by bringing the latest in dual-powertrain technology to the Volvo lineup.
The 2017 Volvo XC90 T8 features hybrid technology that blurs the lines between gas and electric. It has up to three rows and can be driven as full-electric with its advanced plug-in and dual powertrain. The 2-liter inline 4 is paired with an electric engine that, when combined, puts out 400-horsepower.
The trunk opens with a swipe of the foot or the press of a button and both the second and third rows fold down for additional stowing capacity. Cabin space isn't sacrificed for the hybrid batteries and is full of luxury and comforts.
With a driver's seat that is heated, cooled, and equipped with massage, the 2017 Volvo XC90 T8 offers a sumptuousness that can't be beaten. Visit your local AutoNation-affiliated Volvo dealer [www.autonation...] to learn more.

14...miles...why are they even advertising such a terrible spec?

It's a hybrid with no range anxiety, or the need of a long charging stop during a long drive. It can just keep going with it's gasoline engine. Why is that so hard to understand?

The majority of trips suburban drivers take are less than 14 miles round-trip.
