The stadium plans were absolutely ridiculous. 100% just for the richest of rich fans. Have the tax payers pay for the majority of renovations that have zero to do for them? No discount season tickets no nothing. Glad it failed.

For real.. they really said hey we will straighten out the lanes on the parking lot and add some walkways that we should’ve done decades ago. OH and we’ll give you a vague idea of what an “activation zone” is! No go vote yes or else!

    • @soad50
      @soad50 22 дня назад

Absolutely! Extremely shameful of Hunt and the Chiefs organization. If you want tax payer money it better be something that benefits the TAXPAYERS. I really couldnt believe that insult of a plan was the best they can do on top of THREATENING us with that stupid letter. I honestly couldn't believe it.

This is all on the royals. The Chiefs have nothing to do with that plan. They should not have even been on the vote.

The city of Kansas City voted no for the Royals stadium not the Chiefs. If the question on the ballot would’ve been different. Chiefs would have got the upgrade and the Royals stadium would not have been built. That’s facts!

Well people voted no. Didn’t again understand how the tax work. Your best bet is to figure out who you should elect next election or Jackson county my end up being the next slum. Because chiefs royals brought in a lot people into Missouri. Good luck.

The Chiefs need to stay at Arrowhead. But, if they really need to move KCK is not the only option. They could also consider Clay County which is also in KCMO. The entire skyline of KCMO lights up red for the Chiefs on game days. It is a unique air. I lived in Dallas when they won their championships in the 90s. It was kind of a boring air. Fans might of as well been sipping lattes while watching the game. Nothing like the feel at Arrowhead.

Keep the Chiefs at Arrowhead or even on the Kansas Side!!❤❤❤❤❤ I plan on going to Arrowhead Stadium in the future! It’s such a honorable stadium and very loud!!I I hope they can get another renovation done before 2031 that costs less money around $300-400 million, more unique things at Arrowhead upgraded, new built, and more to the exterior and not relying so much on Billionaires and Taxpayers to do it for them! The Hunt family has over $20 billion dollars, they can do another renovation to Arrowhead in 7 years. I know Clark said that’s not enough time and building a new stadium is an option they have to look at, And makes sense for the Chiefs to be in another stadium. They might have to leave the Kansas City area or move to the Kansas side. It’s up there, but hopefully a deal can get done on Arrowhead in time. You can at least still try to work very hard to do another renovation to Arrowhead! Mark Donovan, Andy Reid, and Brett Veach have just been signed, they are an amazing team and they can work together great with Clark Hunt doing great with them too! Kansas City is such a loving welcoming place for them! I pray to God the Chiefs don’t leave Arrowhead or the Kansas City area! I love you Kansas City Chiefs!!❤❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛

He said there already moving. So it’s to late. Should of voted yes. If you all pay attention it just the same tax no increase. But to late now. When both teams leaves that area going only be parking lot and nothing else. Crime will go up in 10 years. I think maybe put only hope is that they move to Kansas. Maybe have Super Bowl parades in by union station still. I don’t see that happening😢

@@Tatsumaki895 If the Chiefs and Royals leave KCMO, I'll never visit the Crossroads again. The Crossroad is the main reason why most people voted no.

    • @Tatsumaki895

@@JaejoongPrincess Well now we won’t have no sports team. All those 30 years of helping people donations through chiefs and royals helping the community down the drain all that money we won’t be paying will go into political office people in our state and never spend. Mike parson does not care about Missouri. Mo hasn’t had good spending on it’s state 40 + years which is why we have bad crime and poor, and slums. Now it will spread more into Kansas City or down to lees summit and independence. Are city will eventually be like Detroit. All because we voted no on the biggest thing in this state brings in money helping the Missouri. Congratulations making Missouri the next Detroit. It’s what you wanted right. I just hope that chiefs move to Kansas and stay there so I can leave this state move to Kansas. After I don’t blame my step uncle Clark hunt. For making this choice. I back him up 100%. Chiefs are not just a business we’re hard working team that’s has done so much over the years. The reason my uncle saves money and cautious on money is because Missouri does not make a lot money like it use to. Because of bad political people who won’t fix this city. Clark was never greedy he just knows how to spend money the right way.

As on outside perspective, I loved what the Royals put forth. It's a good spot, and looked cool. Invest a bit more in the surrounding area and it could entice a future NHL or NBA franchise or expansion. The Chiefs though didn't do enough. It just looked like more trees and rich folk amenities. I'm cool if they renovated, but add a retractable roof (for many other things year round folks), the walkway roofs, and a better team facility.

Building a baseball stadium downtown is proof that people forget history! We had one it was a nightmare! Build another downtown and the nightmare will return. If you are too young to remember ask an old person! Arrowhead renovations seemed pointless to me. Put a dome on it!! Both teams may leave KC and that will hurt the entire metro!

It was a bad decision joining the Royals & Chiefs on the tax vote. Lots were against the downtown stadium, and lots we against the crummy Arrowhead upgrades. Had they separated themselves the Chiefs may have won by a slight margin and same for the Royals. But with them together too many people didn't like either proposal. It's hard for the Hunt family sinking lots of money into a stadium they don't own so I get why they're not spending $800m on a stadium that's not theirs. It's like renovating rental house that use rent but don't own. I think the Chiefs will end up building their own stadium in Kansas. They won't have to pay KCMO any taxes and they'll have total control over the stadium income. They paid KC a lot of money to rent that stadium and they don't need to anymore if they build their own. They'll get $2b in loans and build a new stadium in Kansas.

You are leaning into leaving. It is disappointing. You are focused on options not preserving the existing relatiinship. Too bad. I don’t think your dad would have played it this way. The Chiefs will survive just outside of KC.

But the Arrowhead reimagine stadium and royals downtown ballpark back in early April were bad. Spending $800 million on nothing big that was changed seems a waste. I’m looking at the downtown Royals ballpark, and it looks very tight pack in and small. Stop relying on taxpayers and billionaires to pay the money for the stadiums for you. The Chiefs and Royals have got to use most of their money to upgrade and build new stadiums in the Kansas City area! If they move, I’ll be very sad!! I hope to dear god they don’t move out of Kansas City! Arrowhead is at least 50 years old and very iconic!! Memories made there and hold the record for the loudest stadium on planet 🌎!

Then you don’t understand taxes at all. If you actually payed attention. It was never a increase in tax it was the current tax going on now and continuing it. Now we’re loosing what bring people into Missouri. Now we will be a slum state. Our politicians here put there money in there pockets don’t care about us. So crime will go up in 20 years. Congrats on making Missouri the next Cleveland or Detroit of America.

it’s most likely Kansas or Johnson county most ticket sold are from Kansas fans. It will still be called Kansas City chiefs but it will be in Kansas though. Royals in prince comment and some chiefs managers are really liking Kansas. The place talked about awhile back in this chat I went there and checked it out and the county area has enough land great small businesses around and big that are amazing it’s very nice location feel like you entered another world. Some of the houses there are so pricey there easily over 500,000 dollars. it’s high probability it’s Kansas now for Texas there was proposal but the problem is that Texas has already 2 football teams in its state. There not sure of a location. The chiefs want to be close to a city. plus there are not as many fans in Texas than there are in Kansas or in Missouri. So most likely it will be in Kansas City but in Kansas not Missouri.
