It helped to dissipate my hand and shoulder pain. I found my overhead smashes were more fluid. For me, the change was refreshing, and then i decided to return to my traditional paddle which worked fine until the shoulder pain flared up. So back to the Ergo. It's really well made, quality stuff. Can't beat the warranty, which includes replacement for normal wear and tear.
I have it and I love it. I have played in tournaments and gotten third and fourth. I get looks and comments every time I play. I’m getting really good with placement and all aspects of my game.
I still have mine just to bring out to get people talking. We need some gameplay to see you in action with this one because it makes you change your game a lot.
really wanted to see you hitting with it. Sweet spot , power , pop? what's it feel like in off center shots? TW doesn't really apply with the angle of the handle so what it hit like? drives , returns . blocks?
Sweet spot was fine to me. Power was solid. But you’re using your body a little differently. Pop is good for a Gen 1 paddle. The standout is the spin you can get with the surface. Hope that helps!
I found it pretty easy to get under the ball with the angle of the paddle and generate super solid topspin. But I’m sure it varies player to player. The interesting thing about the pistol grip is there aren’t a lot of ways to hold it, so it probs either works for you or it doesn’t.

I agree it's fun! Heard re: gameplay footage. Might start doing that in the videos down the road a bit!
Lets see LIVE PLAY with it!!!
You are correct. It’s lots of fun.

Table tennis have this kind of paddle way before pickleball. You can check out table tennis on how they hit with the pistol grip to get an idea.
The face space looks somwhat small. Looks like it may be good for blocking.
Definitely good for blocks!
Can you dual wield these?
😆
seems hard to generate topspin
