Just sitting here at the head of Loch Ryan, sipping on some nice malt and finnishing my cigar. I wonder if the sunshine can bring enough warmth to get out on one of my Italians this week. Perhaps not, although it is my 60th on Saturday and I spent all year dieting to get into my leathers, sod the cold weather, I am going for a spin.
Love your enthusiastic vids Si. I was having similar positive vibes out on my 900 gtp today, a brilliant all round package. I like the cooler weather, the more challenging road conditions and the chance to practice skills. Modern bikes make it comfortable and inspire confidence.
Thanks Peter :) always be positive eh lol, I just love the smells and stuff when your out on the bike this time of year it just me smile from ear to ear :)
Really enjoyed that, as interesting and well put together as many other youtubers with a shed load more subscribers , hopefully the algorithm picks you up. Cheers from one of yer customers.
Great video Si and you’re right about getting out in the autumn and winter months. The adventure bikes are so good at protection from the elements. I realised how good my GS is when I recently bought a Triumph Scrambler. Don’t get me wrong I love the Scrambler and it’s a brilliant bike but you get covered in dirt this time of year. Liking the look and sound of the big Tiger as well. Must get ago on one soon.
Thanks ever so much @hollysophieleah u make a good point about the Scrambler, great bike as you say but you're defo exposed on it. Have a great Xmas :)
I don’t lay my bike up in the winter but I don’t enjoy riding on wet roads. If it’s dry I’ll go out on the bike in most temperatures. Having said that one of my most memorable rides was a very wet day on the A85 to the Kyle of Lochalsh. I’ve never had so much confidence on a soaking wet road.
Hi Ben, I'm really lucky getting to use the Tigers as often as I like, they are fantastic bikes, super comfortable and more a riders bike than the GS. If I was buying again I would have the Tiger for sure.
@@simotofoto cheers mate. I have a GS 1250. I do love em, I have had 10! But my problem is, I also own a speed triple 1050 RS. Which I absolutely love. So you can see my dilemma! Not sure I want two similar bikes in the garage!
Si, just goes to show that you can have adventures at any time of the year. Great video of the roads and scenery. Thank you👍
Cheers Dave glad you enjoyed it dude :)

@@simotofoto I meant to say A87, duh ! Cheers !
Hi Si, as you are a GS/A owner which would you choose, out of the two.

Is it only Triumph and HD owners allowed on these runs Si? Or can anyone go along.
Hey Barry anyone mate, there is always a big mix of bikes at them :)
@@simotofoto Nice one, I’ll need to sign up for one next year 👍
