Lol, you nailed Memphis. I work for a clinical lab in Nashville for the last 14 yrs, our main lab, is in Memphis, 70,000 sq.ft, I've never had the desire to visit it. Lived in Nashville for 33 yrs. I don't recognize it any more. One thing you didn't mention, is if you don't have allergies, you will here. Because of the topography. It sits in a bowl, all the pollutants collect. Never had a prob in til chem trails. More allergy clinics here than anywhere. My next next move will be just outside Franklin. Only reason ill go downtown is for a Preds hockey game. Stay in a Hilton hotel across the street from, the arena, catch a great meal at one of the many new restaurants, then leave. Better make a lot of money here now. Im glad i moved here when i did. Lot of opportunity then that I took advantage of.

Totally agree about Western Tennessee. Even I was thinking there wasn't anything west of Nashville truly worth giving a damn about. Maybe along the Tennessee river and like 3 other attractions, that area is still part of the deep south. There seems to be a couple of fun attractions in Memphis to check out, but the entire city is so dangerous that you're legitimately risking it being out over there.

A lot of my family members are thinking on moving to Tennessee, not just because it's more affordable and because of the mountains, but my parents think that Palm Bay and Melbourne are becoming "too dangerous" and need to move somewhere safer. I'll admit that Brevard really isn't the best place in Florida, but there are far more dangerous places in Tennessee with less opportunities. There's a few good paying jobs in some areas, and some pockets of affordability, but I'm very aware that most of Tennessee is very dangerous and the jobs there pay very little. Not really on my list of places I wanna move to, despite how beautiful it is.

South Carolina isn't much better lol. It's like Tennessee, with fewer mountains and more beaches, and they both rank bad for many things. I will say that the other Carolina is the complete opposite quality-wise and is an amazing state, which is impressive considering it's next to them two dumps I'm thinking about moving there after having lived in another bad state (Ohio) my whole life.

@@josephhoover4542 "FBI and CDC Stats usally don't lie..."
Not sure if this is sarcasm, but there is a great deal of room for debate here. Both these organizations you mentioned are ran by people who have (and STILL) routinely lie about MANY things. Their present day statistics are a joke. Most of it is egregiously political.
True, parts of Tennessee have serious problems with poverty, drugs, crime, and blight (and most of those are caused by politics too). But, if you look good enough and long enough you will find serious problems in EVERY state. The OP is from Florida and KNOWS that much of what he's saying about Tennessee is also true about Florida.

Clearly you have not traveled much. The California coastline is 840 miles long, and has more than 420 public beaches. The best places in California is where clint eastwood has a home.. $40,000,000 houses. La jolla.. the absolute most spectacular place in USA. Ask anyone who has seen all 50 states what the most beautiful place in USA is. The worst part of Tennessee is Memphis.. murder rate is 4X higher than Oakland California’s most dangerous city. You would have to be blind to think Tennessee is better. Travel more and watch less fox news. Its sad that someone would even say something like that shows how dumb down Americans have become.
