  • In this video, I used both live bait and cut bait to catch a variety of inshore saltwater species (including snook, redfish, and tripletail) over the course of two short fishing trips. The first part is from a day fishing solo using live pilchards. The second part is from fishing with ‪@JCFishinCharters‬on his boat using cut pinfish for redfish.

    The mullet run here in NC has been so huge that if you're not using live bait, good luck getting anything bigger than a whiting.

      @lee8287 very cool. We are wanting to do an overnight offshore trip in 2 weeks. That means they should still be here. Appreciate your response.

    Nice inshore triple tail. I've been to that dock and would never have guessed it.

      It was my first time seeing one on that dock. I usually find them on deeper docks, but that was pretty shallow

    Question, why do you squeeze the bait in the dip net before slinging them out? Does it disorient them? Thanks

    • @SeeYaDude
      @SeeYaDude  Год назад

      Yup, it disorients them to make it easier for the fish to eat and keeps them in a smaller area without all scattering immediately
