I have a Metahuman head who I want to attach to a body of a character that's skin is not a skin color I can match in the Metahuman skin selector. And I got to wondering, do you know of a way to take the texture of the original head, and match it to the Metahuman's head? This way I can match it to the body.
This is awsome. Thank you for sharing on how to manipulate with original textures maps and re-edit it. I don't understand why they don't put this options of customization inside the software. I mean metahumans are great start, but nowdays zombies and other creatures are important assets in games too, and if you want more ppl use your software for their game creation, probably would be good to implement those options. But this is great way to do it when you don't have such options. Also i am sure you can even change map of face from normal to maybe some creature, but need to be played with. I am not sure, is it possible to do such things with whole body? Is there also original texture of whole body and clothes, so you can as well manipulate with those files? Thx.
Lots can be done with the face and maybe the skin textures for the body for sure. And yes, there are ways to play with the "textures and color" of the clothing as well! Maybe I'll do something on that very soon!
