"the sheer trend has finally beat me down" lol! I hear you on that... I just feel like this collection is a good example of how it wouldn't take a lot of effort for them to make it opaque in 3 coats with no nail line, while still pulling off the sheer look in 1 or 2 coats. For those of us with long nails that don't like the look of VNL. 😉

A couple of these looks very similar to the Kelli Marissa collection from last year 🤔
oh I can definitely see that. The only one I have from that collection is Venetian Sky and I forgot to include it in comparisons because it's still in the box 🤦♀️. Looking at it now it's definitely a darker purple than Jammin' Out and has a different shimmer.

You could probably get a similar look with a ridge filling basecoat. Depending on the brand, some have a noticeable opacity to them. Cupcake Polish also has a product designed to blur the nail line under sheer polishes. It’s extra work, but if you come across a lot of polishes that you’d like otherwise, it might be worth looking into.
These remind me of the Holo Taco collection last year. I cannot stand sheer polishes. Can't do it. I don't care for this collection.
