To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

Frankly, I think it's not worth going for these wired earpods from Apple. For those who can afford, the airpods or airpods pro would be better in every way and for those on a budget, a good truly wireless earbuds from companies such as Boat, Boult, Oppo etc would be perfect.
Exactly you are right, the ones from boat, JBL etc. does the work perfectly. As for me I only use headphones while travelling in holidays which has stopped now so buying the expensive ones does not make sense

@@vanshikadheer7655 any wireless earbuds can be paired with the iPhone, so select according to budget. The Oppo Enco W51 is pretty good on a budget. You can go for the Sony WF series also. And if you have the budget, the Apple airpods would be the best bet of course

It's not worth anything, the wire is so small and easy to break, if ill buy an expensive one ill just go buy a noise cancelling one with bluetooth connectivity. Iphone just changes sizes and capabilities and yet people buy them still.
