Call On Me is not sampled, Thomas Bangalter and DJ Falcon did that earlier, Eric Prydz took the idea and convinced Steve Winwood to re-record the sample, and that's how the song was born.
Was about to comment this. Was sampled by Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk and Dj Falcon, they didn't release it and in an interview they admitted they regretted it big time, after Eric Prydz redone version became a huge hit.
@@hudode5052 Eric Prydz also majorly regrets the whole thing. It was wrong, and he admits that, but the song itself is also such a tonal shift from the genre of music he strives to be known for. Ministry of Sound completely butchered everything “Call on me” and milked it down to it’s last drop. The song tonally and really the whole vibe fits Thomas and Falcon so so much better, and rightfully so. They only ever used it as a tool in lives shows when Falcon was really the pioneer of Ableton at the time. It was only going to be a matter of time before somebody stole the sample, and that happened to be Eric Prydz.
The uncontrollable happiness on your face when you hear the the original sample ahahahah. "It's basically exactly the same, cause I'm a genius" no arguing with that
Your channel's really interesting. Keep it up. I like that sample track concept. Bangalter and DJ Falcon had a terrific idea. I hope more ideas like this give birth to terrific electro anthems.

Is not Eric Prydz !!! But Dj Falcok And Baganltar !!
Noooo you would have saved 90 seconds by setting Warp Mode to "Re-Pitch" so that the loop pitches up automatically based on the new tempo!
ur "new" version was still a little bit too fast, but was interesting to see.

Didn't cut it right.
Not that genius are ya, you used the wrong section, and the wrong version, of valerie.
