6 DOF Space mouse Design
Design/Code is not OPEN at the moment.....
Objective to make a device which is at same level or better than spacemouse.
The implementation in this video is missing the laser-cut weights and anti skid mat. Will be installing them soon
This is initial prototype. I have done lot of changes to design and electronics. will be making the V2 soon
Features of the design
- true 6 DoF all motion like space mouse
- seamless integration with 3dconnextion tool with button support
- wireless BLE
- battery backup of 1 month usage and standby 3 months
- battery/power management
- rechargable via usb
- fast wakeup from button and stick motion
- LED in base and in the knob
- Carry case
- dimention similar to spacemouse wireless
- weight 250g with ss lasercut weighs

That is pretty awesome. I just got the Enterprise model and absolutely love it, but I wouldn't mind building one of my own at some point just for the fun of it.
looking forward for it!! Didn't see one like this which connects via Spacemouse app. I have one made from Joysticks, but it's big.
