"Chile's landscapes and stargazing sound amazing! Any tips for a solo traveler's itinerary?"

This intriguing and vast country has indeed wet my appetite to travel. The many sights that there seemed to be to catch your attention in am amazing array of variety. The lakes and the milkyway caught my attention. But also the hot steam coming out of the rocks were very close contenders. That there is an extensive itinerary of places to visit is beyond doubt. But what I really like is you can choose your destinations and budget accordingly. Whether by camper van. Or guided tours it seems there is an opportunity to get to see some of the marvels on offer. I personally feel I would like to make two trips. Just because I feel I would suffer from sensory overload. Well done Julianna, for showing us something that I would not of considered as my ideal destination. But is now, definitely on my bucket list of places to see. 😊

Thank you! I’m so glad that it put Chile on your travel horizons - it’s such an amazing country, filled with spectacular landscapes that don’t look real and I don’t think it gets enough hype if I’m honest. I focused on heading north on this trip but head down south to Patagonia and it’s just as spectacular but in a completely different way. You really can plan your trip to suit your budget - and you’ll have an amazing time too - there is such a crazy amount of things to see that I definitely agree with the idea of two trips!

The Atacama is truly other-worldly - beautiful video and great advice!

I know it’s wrong to play favourites but for me the Atacama is that place. Love it.

Never made it to Chile, during my time in South America. This has definitely convinced me to go!!

You should! You’ll love it! If you do, see if you can also go south to Patagonia too - incredible!
