Nestled in the Andes mountains, the El Tatio Geysers are an INCREDIBLE spectacle looming high above Chile’s Atacama Desert.
I mean, come on - it's not every day that you get to visit the largest geothermal field in the Southern Hemisphere right up in the towering Andes Mountains.
El Tatio sits at a staggering 4,320 metres (14,170 feet) above sea level in northern Chile. This geothermal field covers about 12 square miles (30 square km) across the Andes Mountains. Come and adventure to this breathtaking destination with me.

It was written "Fisen" about the cable car. Pretty sure you meant "Fjellheisen" (Mountain lift), since Fisen means "the fart" in norwegian. 😁 Not very known about the Tromsø area, but theighbouring island is named "Kalvøya" (Calf island which might refeer to newborn-young reindeers) Just a few corrections from an otherwise nice video! Thanks for sharing your experience!
It’s actually Kvaløya, meaning Whale Island, otherwise you’re right. 😁 There are quite a lot of reindeer here, and we often have them in our yards.

I would say that the group tours can be a great way to meet people - although I had a driver and guide for the Atacama, over the border in Bolivia I did the four day salt flats tour with a group and we had the most fun together! Definitely set some specific time aside for stargazing, whether on a tour or solo - the night skies light up like a beacon

Planning a trip to Norway next year and I'm going over your videos, they've been the most helpful so far! 😁 Question: do you think going to Tromsø as someone who doesn't really know how to drive in the snow is still a good idea? I'd love to explore the islands and beautiful places in the North, but idk if that would be possible without driving 😢
Thank you! I’m so excited that you’re planning to go to Norway, it’s incredible! Yes, I definitely think it’s worth going to Tromsø if you can’t drive - if you do, make sure you book a hotel in the centre and book onto tours- I loved the one I did with Wondering Reindeer to see the reindeer and Sami people and you’ll easily be able to book northern lights tours, and tours to places like the ice domes / wider islands plus things like the fjellheisen cable car you can get to using public transport. I don’t think you’ll have quite the same flexibility but I definitely think it’s still worth going ☺️

@reereereena yes - the tours are definitely pretty expensive. I’d suggest choosing a couple you really want to go on and then planning the rest of your activities around the city itself ☺️
