    Slow, thoughtful performances are Ozawa's specialty.
    It turned out very well.

    The whole album (with Sonata in B Minor, Totentanz, Nuages gris, Funerailles) is a really good Liszt recording.

    The second concerto is the superior one i.m.o on all levels, harmonically interesting, much more dialogue with the orchestra and so on. The Zimmermann performance is piano-wrecking in some instances. Thanks for sharing.

    Oh yeah I’m liking this side of Liszt. Great depth to his concertos, easily rivalling Beethoven.
