- Teenage swim sensation Pan Zhanle is one of Team China’s main medal hopes.
Earlier this year the 19-year-old recorded the fastest-ever men’s 100m freestyle at the World Championships in Doha - and in the men’s 4x100 freestyle relay in Paris, he broke the Olympic record with a 46.92.
Now he’ll hope for gold in Wednesday’s solo 100m freestyle final.

Australians coach saying in news Zhanle time is unhuman. Lol he has study aspect of the 100 meter and no way he can swine that fast, and he personal know and teach a few of the swimmer. Lol... hey coach, they're this thing on utube called setting where you can view the tape in slow motion, Zhanle won the race on the switch back he gain 90% of the lead there. The other tiny 10% was on the straight away. It was the flip over he was twice as fast and being not 6 foot he did he flip way ahead the 6 ' longer legs kick off didn't matter, as he was still a faster 10% swimmer on the straights away. He human not a robot

@@crustybone Oh for sure others do it as well but apart from USA and Great Britain (probably) others don't have the same level of expertise and knowledge when it comes to these types of chemicals as China has. Let's not forget that a big majority of the pharmaceutics are still produced in China. Also in the West if you'd try to do this you would have to keep it very low by having a doctor or two who could help you with this stuff in China you would have a whole institution backing you, a whole "army" of doctors studying new methods of eliminating any traces of doping from your system
