      @@grazing365 One of the benefits of not using barbed wire as fencing for your cattle is that the hides of your cows can fetch higher prices. The leather purchasers are looking for hides without scars. I'm on the market to get a cow hide for a rug and that stripped pattern really appeals to me.

    Could you lay out your business model? Are you selling stocker calves? Or are you selling starter herds? Or strictly selling for consumption as beef?

      We are primarily a seed stock operation

    My question is what are you doing with them at night? Ive been working on moving daily however at night Ive been grinding them to a holding pen however the further away the harder to move them. Hope this question makes since

      We never put them in a barn or corral. 365 days and nights on pasture

    Everyone's context is at least slightly different. That is why a prescriptive answer will cause problems sooner or later. You must know your variables and manage everything to the best advantage- health of soil, plants, animals, people, finances, ...

      I’ve used them all. I started using solar chargers last year exclusively. Speedrite makes the best in my opinion. I’m using a couple 1 joule purchased from power flex
