Slovakia is a Small European Union country, a member of the Schengen States with a population of 5.4 Million. To work in Slovakia as an employer-worker, you need a Work Permit and a National Visa. In this post, I will tell you about the Slovakia Work Visa process, the types of work visas, and the requirements for non-Europeans. Remember that all non-European nationals who want to work in Slovakia must apply for a work visa. Non-European nationals will also be required to have a Job offer and a Valid work permit
Types of Slovakia Work Permits
There are several types of work visas to apply, but it depends on your work or type of employment. types of permits are:
1) Slovakia Single Permit
2. Work Permit
3. Temporary residence for employment based on a work permit
4. Seasonal Employment
5. EU Blue Card
Required Documents
For Single Work Permit:
1. Application form.
2. An employment contract or written promise of employment.
3. Documents regarding your education.
4. Written power of attorney.
For Work Permit:
1. A completed application form in Slovak.
2. A valid passport.
3. An employment contract.
4. A copy of your residence document (if applicable).
5. Other documents are required from the Labor Office.
For Seasonal Employment:
1. Application form.
2. Proof of having completed education.
3. Proof of accommodation for the duration of the employment.

1.Single Permit Fee: 170 EUR
2. Work Permit Fee: 170 EUR
3. Blue Card: 170 EUR
4. Seasonal Employment: 35 EUR
How You can apply for a Slovakia work visa?
1. Apply for the Job: Online through Job sites, recruitment agencies, or recognized employers.
2. Once you have a Job offer, your employer can apply for the appropriate work permit on your behalf or they will guide you. So, verify this with your employer in Slovakia, and contact an embassy or consulate for more information.
3. Prepare your documents.
4. Pay the visa fee
