OUTBACK: A solo cyclist's journey S3 Ep.6

This episode see's me cycling form Port Augusta in South Australia to Willcannia in New South Wales. Little was i to know this relatively short leg of 650km would be the hardest yet. battling through unrelenting winds and open treeless plains i was surely tested to the point of asking myself.... "what am i doing here?".

Slept at the mines public park they built, next to the humming mill, and to restock food. Yes, good town from what little i saw

Hard yakka beyond the Black Stump . A lot of those little ghost towns were abandoned because of toxic builds, chemicals and all the asbestos. I did notice heaps of broken asbestos walls in that last town.. Stay warm my friend.

Great effort Lee ,you are an inspiration to anyone who wants to have a go ,wish l could install an electric motor on your bike for those times when you need to get there,nobody would know, bumped into you in broken hill at the 5 star camp you had by the lake and then at the supermarket ,sometimes l am on a 5 hour drive between towns and l think of you which would be a 4 days ride for you ,bumped into the your wheelbarrow man moving along at a good clip ,maybe 4KPH ,you hang in there mate with wings on your heals cheers John
