RydeWear Helmet Quick Release

This buckle makes it such a such a breeze to lock and unlock the helmet without having to take your gloves off and messing with the DD rings. This is a must have in my opinion. I have been using this system for some time now ad I purchased a new helmet that does not have a ratcheting system and this comes in handy.

I have used these for years. Buy a new helmet, buy a new ryde wear buckle. Please read the info regarding SIZING of the buckle as there a two sizes. Sizes are dependent on the size of the d ring loops. I have a full face helmet that required the buckle listed for the brain bucket size helmet as the full face helmet had very large loops. Difference is in the size of the slit in the buckle, large loops is a smaller slit as you have more room in the loop to fit the buckle on and less space for the buckle to come off in an accident.

Wouldn't it had been cheaper to buy replacement liner for your other helmet?

Ontario Andrews sure the liner would’ve costed me 60 to 70 bucks but with the risk of the same issue arising again after some time. Probably due to the shape of my head maybe. But this new helmet is so comfortable for 160, it’s worth spending the extra 90 bucks and get a brand new helmet. I will probably look into buying a headliner from a different C3 to see if it fits and then I can have a back up helmet.
