I was very impressed with Moss when he played at the Big House. Michigan was hitting him all day and yet he was still making big time throws and had a leaders attitude 👊
If anybody is old of enough to remember when Tom Brady shared time with Drew Henson. The competition and development helped Tom Brady become the greatest of all time. If Miller Moss ends up at another school there's no guarantee that the other teams won't bench him if things don't work out just like it did at USC. But at Michigan if he can become the starting QB, turn them around, and get them back to CFP than his draft stock will definitely increase and Michigan has lot of NFL connections. The more ready QB'S at Michigan the better! Don't want another season like this one! The best QB that Michigan had was a inexperienced walk on in Davis Warren. There should always be at least 4 ready to go QB'S on the roster at all times.
The issue to me is we need to grab O-linemen and receivers first. Swap in Miller Moss right now for Davis Warren and I don't really see our record being any different. Sure its a definitive upgrade over Warren BUT I also think the O-Line & Receiving Core are bigger issues. I would WAY rather start true freshman Bryce Underwood with a great O-Line and great WR core then start Miller Moss with a Solid O-Line and Poor Receiving Core. The thing with a guy like Miller Moss is he is the type of QB who's going to be as good as the team around him. If we have poor pass blocking & poor WR play then he will be a bad QB. If he has time in the pocket and weapons to throw to then he could be a great QB. it really going to depend on who we get around him.
No doubt Michigan needs a good backup QB even with Bryce coming in. You can’t have a situation where you have to play freshman Bryce immediately. Not to mention if he gets injured then you also need a good backup.
I think Miller Moss is the perfect get for Michigan. He and Bryce have compatible games which would allow Bryce to slip in and out of the line-up as the situations present. Miller turns 23 in March and Bryce does not turn 18 until August. This is the ideal mentor-mentee scenario.
100% wrong question. Actual question is whether or not a starting caliber QB will choose to go to Michigan knowing that Bryce Underwood could push for the starting job. Michigan would gladly take a starting caliber QB 100 times out of 100 here given their lack of depth at the position. It's just about whether or not a QB in the portal is keen on Underwood aiming for his job. It's no secret that Underwood's preference is to be the day one starter.
Bryce can start long as you have a stud team around him offense, and defense has to be solid with a freshman QB starting. The oline has to be phenomenal run game and receivers has to be playmakers
Miller Moss got benched by a bad team. I would rather use those resources towards wr's to build around Bryce and Jadyn Davis. Edit: unless we change offense the JD probably leaves. I wish he would play in bowl game. At the end of the day you do whatever you told Bryce you were gonna do...he's that special....don't screw this up
Underwood is going to be starter day one. Why would Miller Moss come to Michigan. He is going to go somewhere he can start. This applies to any transfer. They are going to have a hard time getting anyone.
Stupid comment, just like Underwood was never gonna come to Michigan. How many times did I hear that? How many times did I hear? Nate marshall will never come back to michigan. Bottom line is, you don't have a clue. Whether moss comes here or not, you don't know anything, keep your mouth shut.
Moss not coming if he not the starter. I think Moss for one year and Underwood the next 2 is perfect. I don’t like true freshman starting that play close to the ball (qb and Lineman)
Will Michigan take a QB from the portal? That's not the question, the real question is why? They've secured Bryce Underwood, why would they pull a QB that's not of the same variety through the portal?
The for another vid guys. IMHO I have a bad feeling j. Davis is going to hit the portal. I also Think its going to be hard to get a good QB because they all know UM wants Underwood to start
NO QB TRANSFER! Look what happened to OSU! They lost to Michigan with a transfer QB and their former QB beat a top ranked Miami. Moss is not a starting QB and he proved it this year.
Ill believe it when i see it when it comes to mich revamping the offense to implement more of a passing game. I just hope they didnt sell bryce to a bill of goods. He not coming here to hand of 35 times a game
@joelblock6380 well it helps when the coach has a brain fart the entire game trying to act tough and prove a point running the ball instead being who they are. They played right into mich hands
Michigan has plenty of quality big TE's returning and in the 25 class. That's our culture. We don't need portal WR's if we pick up a top freshman deep threat in addition to Marsh.
You take none. Bryce Underwood out of Belleville is coming this kid is the truth. I doubt that anybody you bring and will be this kid out at quarterback as a freshman
I was very impressed with Moss when he played at the Big House. Michigan was hitting him all day and yet he was still making big time throws and had a leaders attitude 👊
Nate Marshall has flipped back to Michigan!!!!!

Bryce is not sticking around like Tom Brady did. NIL era is different.
The quarterback roulette’ is not a bad thing if you actually have a room of quarterbacks
Yeah, I think we seen JJ really benefit from what they did with him and Cade in 21

New offense! Gotta be a duel threat player

Bryce doesn't need Moss. Keep Orji and Warren instead. They are MICHIGAN MEN.
@@joelblock6380 No...just no
Getting a transfer portal QB is a must.
You must be ridiculous to think a transfer is going to come in here with Bryce Underwood. They're going to roll with Underwood, Davis, Orji.
Davis is a done, he’s a senior, as far I know he’s out of eligibility, we’re taking a transfer QB regardless of how you feel.
@Xhunterdead9154 Davis is a freshman
@Xhunterdead9154 maybe you should know the roster
@ ahh your talking Jayden Davis, I thought you were taking bout Davis Warren. My fault, still gonna take a transfer QB, orji should swap to RB.
Moss is a really good QB when he's got time to throw.
So is Davis Warren

Miller Moss has the talent to be JJ 2.0. He had a horrible O-line at USC.
Stop it! The grass is never greener...

Kaidon Salter is absolute, would be a perfect fit at UofM... 💢💯💢
Does Orji transfer or change his position?
Moss looks like he may be looking for a year long starting gig....not sure with Bryce coming in that will get him here
We can't jump on first guy that gets in here . We need to tamper a bit and goes fishing, let's see if there will be bigger fish
Michigan needs a new offensive coordinator the most.
Michigan out-coached OSU. We don't need no stinckin' coaches.
@@joelblock6380 You're delusional. Wouldn't be surprised if Bryce's reps didn't discuss a new OC before signing.

He gone hit the portal

OSU does it every year
Yea and osu wishes they had Ewers rn@@jaybees5734
The kid from Washington State is probably following his OC to Norman
That would be rough since UM plays them in Norman, week 2. Might have to chalk that up as an L.
Salter played hurt this season
WTF happened to Jayden Davis? How is he still not ready
Miller moss is serviceable. Wouldn't say hes very good
NO QB TRANSFER! Look what happened to OSU! They lost to Michigan with a transfer QB and their former QB beat a top ranked Miami. Moss is not a starting QB and he proved it this year.

Oh please, OSU had a great passing game and switched to a portal QB AND LOST DESPITE HAVING A GREAT DEFENSE.
@joelblock6380 well it helps when the coach has a brain fart the entire game trying to act tough and prove a point running the ball instead being who they are. They played right into mich hands
can weget kyle McCord, watch OSU lose there mind....
I bet Quinn Ewers hits the portal after this year.. just a thought.
Will M take a QB? Maybe. Should they? Probably.
Miller moss to michigan
theyre all too short, michigan gonna look for size at receiver whcih is why mcculley would be clutch
