I figured that initially it was her but thought she might’ve given the job to some employees (with her approving anything before it went out) to make more time to take her pictures.
I appreciate Holo Taco having other photographers, not only is less of a workload for you but it also allows us to see the shades with different skin tones!
Why am I crying over a stranger’s business ethic and success? Simply deserves everything she’s got. I can’t believe I’ve been here since way back when we didn’t even get voiceovers, just nail art. Wild ride.
Cristine, you're a mad woman. I do product photography 40 hours a week....this sequence is at least 40 hours a week for 5-6 weeks...(maybe 3-4 if you're really crunching in those 40 hours). I even learned a couple of tricks from this video (again, my full time job 🤦). I bow to you Holo Queen 👑
None of this video was a surprise to me bc of product photography, I’m just still in awe that she does it ALL by herself, but I do get it. Sometimes it’s just better to do it yourself , I just thought Ben and menchie might’ve helped her out a bit more 😂
Now we know why Cristine made her nail polish bottles so thick: she needs them to be heavy enough to hold her phone when she takes pictures of her nail! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!!!
Girl, you are such an inspiration. I'm a 28 year old woman, I am a full time mom and Baker. I also co run a cafe at an archery range. So I totally get the whole one woman show. But you show your younger demographic that it's great to have this high work ethic that can be very satisfying.
Love how you're including nail artists/models of varying skin tones so that everyone can have an idea of what the colors will look like on their nails. I know it'll be hard to let go but I'm excited for you to bring more marketing people on to help take that pressure off of you and give you that time back to focus on other goals and that overall work-life balance. And the Menchie cameos are the pièce de résistance of the entire production, absolutely. Shoulder naps and tummy cuddles are emergencies of the highest order.
Cristine, tbh if you quit your "day job" at this point, you'd still have running Holo Taco as a day job - you're essentially working two full day jobs PLUS running a RUclips channel (really a suite of channels) and a podcast. Most people would struggle with just one of those. It's clear how much passion you have for everything you do!
Wait, let me get this straight. You're still THIS hands-on with Holo Taco while working a full-time job AND posting a video every week with time and energy left over for lifting heavy with some of the best form I've seen? Girl, whatever superhero serum you're on I WANT SOME.
Damn, here I am procrastinating my 6 hours of work I need to do today because I feel overwhelmed, watching a RUclipsr work multiple hours for their brand beside their day job and other RUclips channels. I don't know how, but you go girl!
I knew Cristine does a lot but I had no idea she does SO MUCH... I was sure 90% of those steps she does here would be done by a whole team of professionals
I had no idea you did literally every bit of the pictures. You say you are not a professional but you definitely do a professional level of work. Your passion really shines through for what you do
Seeing things like this makes me appreciate just how much Cristine puts into her own product line. She doesn't have to do any of this, she could just throw out a few ideas and have her team do the rest. But she doesn't, she's constantly checking and testing the formula, she's taking her own pictures, doing her own editing. Things like this are why I don't mind shelling out a few extra bucks for her products because I can see how much she's actually investing and caring for it.
I would really love if Cristine would see this. Back in April 2020 I was diagnosed with very aggressive breast cancer. Which meant I had to and am still going through some pretty tuff treatments. As silly as it may seem you and your nail polish have helped me through this ridiculously rough time in my life. It’s hard to feel pretty when you have no hair and treatment is making you feel like death warmed over, but my nails have always been an important part of my expression. Because of all the hard work, love, and devotion you put into your polish collections I had something I could hold onto. I always make sure that my nails are done and it gives me something fun and enjoyable to talk to people about, instead of just my cancer. The doctors, receptionist, nurses, and really just anyone I see out in public always comment on how pretty my nails are. I get to have a conversation about HoloToco and how amazing it is. I get to smile and be excited. So in that movement I’m not a cancer patient I’m just a women talking about silly nails. I don’t think I will ever be able to express to you how much this has meant to me. I was in the hospital when the pastel rainbow collection dropped and of course I had to order it. My hubby asked, so how much did Cristine cost me this time? I told him no worries she donated this collection hehehe. Seriously though he has bought me all of your other collection because, he feels helpless and buying me nail polish that makes me smile is something he can do to make this all just a little bit less sucky.
I don't often comment on videos, but I must say, this seriously moved me. As a full-time college student and part-time worker, life can get really stressful at times with all the little things piling up on you. I do photography and art as a pastime and it's some of the stuff that helps me release that stress that gets built up. In the back of my mind, I always think that I need the best equipment or high levels of skill to recreate the images that I see so beautifully created by photographers and artists that surround me. But getting this inside view of how you do it, Christine is insanely inspirational to me. It makes me realize I don't need studio equipment or crazy amounts of money to achieve my goals, and that starting out in a basement with a small bit of equipment can pay off just as much as spending a crap ton of money on the expensive stuff. Thank you for sharing this with us, and I hope to see you find some more time for yourself in the future. I know we all appreciate everything you do for us, and this launch has been one of my favorites. Thank you again, and good luck with everything! I'm glad to see the company branching out so much in what feels like so little time. :)
Other youtubers and influencers need to take notes on her. She has so many genuine loving fans because she’s a genuine and humble person who didn’t let the money get to her head. She works so hard for her company and her channels and her podcast while other youtubers have to hire someone else to do everything other than hold the camera lol
i know she’s a bit of a perfectionist but i feel like her showing some of her “flaws” and being honest and silly is just relatable? like especially with working out she doesn’t try to be “look how put together i am” she’s like almost encouraging and even gives others a better mindset.
even tho i dont wear nail polish or have an interest in "nail art" whatsoever its really inspiring and enjoyable to see her work this hard, "effortlessly", drama-free, aware and with such high quality. i literally love her so much, such a queen, it is beyond
I love watching people talk about something they're passionate about (especially if it's obscure) because you can just see that Cristine is tired but she's also so happy!!
I'm a small business owner and these tips really helped me! Especially the part where you take multiple shots with different lighting and splice them together
@@RedShoes29 pretty sure it has more to do with cristine being a perfectionist and knowing exactly how she wants to portray her products and not just about the money. You must be new here.
@@daniellevankruining194 not new. Been here a while. From the business perspective, it seemed like Holotaco is quite small. Cristine has addressed in the past in one of her podcasts how a professional nail shot would cost thousands (and how she did it for cheap). Since Holotaco was still quite small then, it made sense that she would take this up. Business seems to be going quite well so it only make sense that they hire more people. But yeah, her being very particular is also a big factor.
Cristine never fails to amaze me.. whenever I look at her videos and her holo taco promotion videos and photos..I always seem to forget.. that all of this..is just one man job..she edits her own videos..makes and tests out new formulas..not to mention her day job..
I love how she pays so much attention to the color, lighting, placement, and the surroundings of the shots. That shows that she truly cares about what we purchase and the way we view it. You truly are an amazing person 🥰
Im so proud at how far cristine and holo taco has gone 😭 i remember when she was just about to launch her first collection 🥺 well-deserved success indeed ❤️
i’ve never been so proud of an influencer... it really is amazing to see where cristine has come from and i’m so excited to see where she goes. came for the nail art, stayed for cristines growth
i googled it and i think it might just be “Frankenstein marketing” the first few articles are very negative ab it tho but they were for what was basically false advertising she’s not making anything bigger, and not showing any details that aren’t real (because she’s not a capitalist monster lol) so i’m not sure if there’s another term or if some people just really hate it!!
@@peachypanda57 In an analog photography class I once took, it was referred to as "sandwiching" when you mashed together two or more photos, though I'm not sure if that term refers to this technique exactly, as well :)
i never knew that those videos that she uploads on holo taco would take this long to record plus she also edit her videos and does have a professional job outside yt. the amount of time that she spents just to make sure that everything is always in better quality and not half assed made me appreciate her more than before. she looks like more of a person to me now rather than a random woman on yt that loves holo so much.
I love seeing how much work this actually takes. The more intellectual part is always fascinating. And will help people who want to do RUclips as a career understand how much work it actually takes.
Me: tired for Cristine at minute 16* It is unbelievable the attention to detail she puts into each collection and when I think of all the collections that came out almost back to back I am thrown through a loop that this queen is still going 👏
I have so much respect for this woman. She really dedicated herself to bringing her ideas to reality. All the hard work is inspiring to see. The products are great as well. This is why I support Holo Taco.
This video makes me so proud to be a fan of Cristine. The fact she is able to do all this and still have a day job and encourages children to stay in school. She is a REAL influencer
It really shows how passionate and discerning she is about holo taco that she chooses to do all of this herself. I'm sure she has the resources to hire a team to do most of this work, but chooses to take it on herself. Such an amazing and humble person! You rock Cristine 👍🏼
So proud of Cristine. She has got so much on its mental but she successfully manages it all. Her jobs, her RUclips channels like damn, 3 people would struggle to manage the same amount of stuff that 1 Cristine Holo Queen manages to do. 👏👏👏
I really admire simply's dedication. All of her fans know the sheer amount of hard work and care that goes into everything she does but this video just puts it into new perspective. Despite all of this she still manages to remain insanely grounded and somehow mostly sane. Truly a powerhouse of a person.
One day when I have enough money I will buy her collection cause like goddamn the effort it takes- I figured she took the shots herself cause it's like, very Cristine but at the same time I didn't expect her to do literally everything and I find that commendable
As someone who is taking a photography class in highschool, it's always nice to see someone who shoots and edits every photo by themself with little to no team. It's also great to see someone who doesn't use any professional lighting, just what they have on hand.
I'm a professional photographer and you'd be shocked how some of the most amazing shots come from building and using the most random things as equipment lolol never be afraid to get creative to get that shot 😂 good luck on your photography journey💕
Oh. My. Gawd. I had no idea how much work it took to take those gorgeous photos. I had a ton of respect for you before….but holy s***, I have SOOOOO much more respect for you now. Bravo. 💜
things I didn't know: - menchie helps more than I thought, zyler should grabs tips from her - zyler doesn't leave hair anywhere, menchie should grab tips from him - idk how you've not eaten the whole camera remote, pretty sure I would've eaten that by now - on a serious note, I didn't know the box photos was composed from many different ones, that's a big, wrinkle brain move I hope you and the team had the best sleep after all this was done, you work so hard on them!
I didn’t know you were the one that did the descriptions for the nail polishes. Nor did I know that you need TEN BOTTLES of each polish for the shots. Thank you for everything you do Simply 😭❤️
Anyone who may think RUclips may be your easier job should watch this video. Honestly, I’m sure holo taco and RUclips takes more of your time than a regular 9-5 job. You go girl! It is very eye opening to see how much work is involved. Being a business owner is not a piece of cake work.
This was the most relaxing thing to watch. Lo-Fi beats, just enough explanation without it being too technical (because when will I ever photograph for a nail launch)
I didn't expect that taking pictures of the nail polish was hard and time consuming. And the fact that she manages everything by herself... You never fail to impress me, Cristine. We're very proud of you, Holo Queen!💖 Edit: Have you gone mad!? 61 likes under 24 hours!? Thank you so much! It blew up so quickly, not like my comment under "Daechwita". I really appreciate it! My biggest take from all this work... Menchie 😍 the devotion to holo is astronomical, your daughter is a true inspiration. I may only pray that sharing Menchie with my own furbabies will inspire them to become more involved in my career (aka, sit on my shoulders for hours while I work). I love the fact that she includes all of us in her journey behind the scenes. Not a lot of brand owners do that, y'know? Also, I may be rescuing a cat after being inspired by Menchie and Zyler, so yeah, just wanna say thanks Cristine, for inspiring me through your vids!! ❤🤩

As a casual SimplyNailogical fan and only occasional Holo Taco customer, this is my favorite video of yours that I've ever seen. The quantity and quality of work that you do for the marketing of your products is so impressive! Absolutely something to be proud of.
it's kinda upsetting that according to the comments, this video is people's realization that cristine does all this stuff. she's spoken about it SEVERAL times in videos and podcasts and we've seen behind the scenes before! i wish people paid more attention to her passion, hard work, dedication and attention to detail. a master of her craft!
I knew she did all this herself, but its different to see actual footage of the whole process. I think a lot of us are really beginning to appreciate just how much work this really is. I feel like I need a nap after watching and I didn't do anything.
It wasn’t a surprise for me, but I think for a lot of people who don’t have any sort of background knowledge of product photography, or photography/videography in general it’s such a surprise as to what goes into all of this. People think photoshoots take maybe 30 minutes when in reality the average run time for a professional to do small portraits or restaurant shots is 1-2hours. For example my magazine company had a 40under40 article and we shot an entrepreneur who started a tutoring business. He scheduled himself 30 minutes for this shoot and made an appointment for something else right after, and he was taken aback when we told him we’d do our best to finish within the 30 minutes, since it takes about 10ish minutes to find a spot and set of lighting and all that jazz. He literally asked “I thought you guys would just snap a couple pictures and we’d be done”. 😂 People who are more math and science oriented don’t always appreciate or understand how long the arts take
She works a full time job, runs holo taco and lots of the background stuff, simplyfitlogical and lives her life and then there is me....struggling on a day to day basis 🤣🤣 she is superwoman!

Same here! I'm in awe!
None of this video was a surprise to me bc of product photography, I’m just still in awe that she does it ALL by herself, but I do get it. Sometimes it’s just better to do it yourself , I just thought Ben and menchie might’ve helped her out a bit more 😂
Cristine: *apologizing for the video being too long*
Me: ARE YOU SERIOUS? I WANT MORE! I COULD WATCH FOR HOURS!
THIS
IS
FASCINATING
Now we know why Cristine made her nail polish bottles so thick: she needs them to be heavy enough to hold her phone when she takes pictures of her nail! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!!!
🤣🤣
they also just look cool lol
Shoulder naps and tummy cuddles are emergencies of the highest order.
let’s appreciate her for spending so much time on holo taco keeping in mind that she still has her 9-5 job
In her podcast she mentioned cutting back on her hours.
She's part-time at her day job, she said so on her podcast
Wait, let me get this straight. You're still THIS hands-on with Holo Taco while working a full-time job AND posting a video every week with time and energy left over for lifting heavy with some of the best form I've seen? Girl, whatever superhero serum you're on I WANT SOME.
She doesn't work full time and hasn't for quite a while.
its the holoooooooo
@@renej3487 I realized later I missed the opportunity to make a joke about the magic elixir being TEA! LOL!
Cristine calls it “the art of moving my nail back and forth”. My boyfriend every time I paint my nails, “give me that finger waggle”
aw 😂
underrated comment 😤
I want you to know I cackled
And the quality of what you're buying is excellent. I cant begin to start with the small details I appreciate lol
You never realise how much effort people put into this kinda thing because the final product always looks so flawless
Okay, but when Menchie jumped in the shot with those lights...
BEAUTY QUEEN MENCHIE!
When is that
@@lucybiggio7423 it's 15:02
What I am surprised is the fact all the swatches, promo, shots, commercials are done by Cristine herself. An all rounder queen.
@@RedShoes29 you... commented the exact same thing multiple times?
I feel incredibly lazy watching this video. She is insanely driven.
@@kyndramb7050 Same... I haven’t even out clothes on today because I couldn’t be bothered
Oh my gosh the dedication here is out of this world 👏
I love how she pays so much attention to the color, lighting, placement, and the surroundings of the shots. That shows that she truly cares about what we purchase and the way we view it. You truly are an amazing person 🥰
Conspiracy Theory: Cristine got into CrossFit to develope the strenght to make the perfect flicking motion on these shoots
I don’t usually buy into conspiracy theories, but I think you’re onto something with this one😳
I mean she did say she was sick of feeling weak and wanted to feel stronger so this theory holds up.
The way Cristine is so hardworking and kind yet humble about what she does makes me want to cry tears of joy, such a (holo) light in a very dark world
crazy how cristine does almost all of the production herself. it takes a lot of dedication and hard work, it’s very impressive.
Im so proud at how far cristine and holo taco has gone 😭 i remember when she was just about to launch her first collection 🥺 well-deserved success indeed ❤️
Am I the only one that became so much more appreciative of these clips after watching this video and realizing how hard it is 😶
The person who disliked this was trying to hit the like button but they were blinded by the holo and they missed
As someone whose vision sometimes gets blurry and has had the problem of being blinded by the Holo while doing my nails, this sounds legit. 😅
i’ve never been so proud of an influencer... it really is amazing to see where cristine has come from and i’m so excited to see where she goes. came for the nail art, stayed for cristines growth
14:24 For some reason, I think the strategy you are referring to includes “Frankenstein” in its name.
i googled it and i think it might just be “Frankenstein marketing”
the first few articles are very negative ab it tho but they were for what was basically false advertising
she’s not making anything bigger, and not showing any details that aren’t real (because she’s not a capitalist monster lol) so i’m not sure if there’s another term or if some people just really hate it!!
@@peachypanda57 In an analog photography class I once took, it was referred to as "sandwiching" when you mashed together two or more photos, though I'm not sure if that term refers to this technique exactly, as well :)
Bracketing is the closest term I can think of.
As a product photographer I'm so happy you showed how tedious products can be! Not many people realize it!
i never knew that those videos that she uploads on holo taco would take this long to record plus she also edit her videos and does have a professional job outside yt. the amount of time that she spents just to make sure that everything is always in better quality and not half assed made me appreciate her more than before. she looks like more of a person to me now rather than a random woman on yt that loves holo so much.
I love how all of us are amazed by the hard work Cristine puts in these videos
I thought she had a whole team that did this for her. Respect!!
I’ve never seen someone get so happy over small things. And it’s amazing how she is like that. And make me feel like I should to
Holy shit girl! I had no idea that you literally do all the dang promo shots yourself! That is an unheard of amount of work all in all.
I love seeing how much work this actually takes. The more intellectual part is always fascinating. And will help people who want to do RUclips as a career understand how much work it actually takes.
Me: tired for Cristine at minute 16*
It is unbelievable the attention to detail she puts into each collection and when I think of all the collections that came out almost back to back I am thrown through a loop that this queen is still going 👏
Menchie is honestly such a good helper, not sure what Zyler is doing but I’m sure it’s also incredibly productive. 👌🏼
We stan a hands on brand owner who doesn’t just approve and stamp her name on things 🙌
I mean... TECHNICALLY she does! lmao
So proud of Cristine. She has got so much on its mental but she successfully manages it all. Her jobs, her RUclips channels like damn, 3 people would struggle to manage the same amount of stuff that 1 Cristine Holo Queen manages to do. 👏👏👏
I don't know why but I love the editing in these kind of videos.
"Hey don't call me crazy, what's in your camera roll?"
About a hundred pictures of my cat.
I really admire simply's dedication. All of her fans know the sheer amount of hard work and care that goes into everything she does but this video just puts it into new perspective. Despite all of this she still manages to remain insanely grounded and somehow mostly sane. Truly a powerhouse of a person.
I feel like this should have been a main channel video. It’s really cool to see your whole process
Bravo. 💜
The fact that you do all these by yourself and not with a huge shoot team and writers and all that jazz is amazing
things I didn't know:
- menchie helps more than I thought, zyler should grabs tips from her
- zyler doesn't leave hair anywhere, menchie should grab tips from him
- idk how you've not eaten the whole camera remote, pretty sure I would've eaten that by now
- on a serious note, I didn't know the box photos was composed from many different ones, that's a big, wrinkle brain move
I hope you and the team had the best sleep after all this was done, you work so hard on them!
Watching this while wearing my newly-arrived pastel holo feels appropriate
Wow, you got it that quick??
@@danielleking262 yup! I ordered April 18th and got it today, exactly a week later. And I didn't pay for faster shipping or anything either
Same but in Germany! 💜
Same here! It arrived this morning to me here in Australia
I didn't expect that taking pictures of the nail polish was hard and time consuming. And the fact that she manages everything by herself... You never fail to impress me, Cristine. We're very proud of you, Holo Queen!💖
Edit: Have you gone mad!? 61 likes under 24 hours!? Thank you so much! It blew up so quickly, not like my comment under "Daechwita". I really appreciate it! Love from Bulgaria❤
She makes it look effortless! Mad props to the Holo Queen🥰
@@hallwayoatmeal I hope she continues in the same spirit!
All the work Cristine puts in Holo Taco.. she deserves every last cent she charges for her polish ❤️
My biggest take from all this work... Menchie 😍 the devotion to holo is astronomical, your daughter is a true inspiration. I may only pray that sharing Menchie with my own furbabies will inspire them to become more involved in my career (aka, sit on my shoulders for hours while I work). All our love to the importance of fur children in the work places and home xx meow
You watch different parts of a 10 minute launch video and you don't realize how long it takes. Honestly huge props to you Cristine.
HOLO CRISTINE 🤩 I got my pastel rainbow collection and it’s BEYOND BEAUTIFUL!
The amount of work, editing, tweaking etc this takes. Good lord
When I feel the need to take on another project when I already have several others, I will watch this video. You had me tired and my back hurting just from watching. You are my workaholic spirit animal! Love you!
i have a new appreciation for those launch videos, so much hard work for less than 20mins of screen time. just shows how much love and dedication cristine puts in
Cristine WOW! i am in awe of how much you are able to do and how you are still manage to meet all your deadlines and timelines! honestly looking at the amount of dedication you have has now taught me to never complain about the 1 job I have haha. you're truly an inspiration!
*Let’s normalize watching Holo Taco reveal videos all the way through to appreciate the amount of work she puts into this!*
The amount of work you put into the smallest things just for customer satisfaction is mind blowing. Your hard work shows and pays off! 💿🌮
Simply edits herself editing, and mentions that this took a long time surprisingly 😂
People who are more math and science oriented don’t always appreciate or understand how long the arts take
She works a full time job, runs holo taco and lots of the background stuff, simplyfitlogical and lives her life and then there is me....struggling on a day to day basis 🤣🤣 she is superwoman!
Part-time, she said in a podcast that it was too much and can't work full time at her desk job anymore
Still part time it’s still a lot!
Even before I watch the whole video I know I'm going to be amazed at how much work and effort goes into every tiny detail! It amazes me!
