I didn’t think I would like Brucie based on the photos but I put it on and drastically changed my mind. It’s the underdog of the polishes but it’s actually really pretty!
Spirit fingers is so pretty it reminds me of this cloth material from childhood called "moonlight" and i dunno if I or someone i knew had a dress made of a shade almost too similar to Spirit Fingers 🧡🧡 i have never seen a prettier nail polish
Hi Cristine! I love your videos and I wanted to ask something. I know it can be tricky or maybe expensive to work out, but is there any way you could look into captioning your videos? I’m HOH (hard of hearing) and my ears are getting a bit worse. So it’s becoming harder to follow videos properly. The auto-captions are pretty janky sometimes and it makes things more confusing than helpful. Again, I know it’s not the easiest or potentially cheapest thing to do, and sometimes it’s just not possible for one reason or another. But I thought I’d ask cuz I’d love to be able to watch things like your reposted streams without struggling to keep up. And I’m sure I’m not the only HOH person that might benefit from them. honestly based on my listening to the podcast i think a collab that frequently would severely impact their ability to do other more unique collections because they don’t do that many each year and they start planning sometimes over a year in advance. all that being said, i do think there is huge potential for them to do more collabs i just don’t think it would happen so frequently as every year but i do really want it to happen again since i missed buying anything this collection
I was so so tempted to get Spirit Fingers and then it sold out. Just putting it out there, but if you made a collection of grey jelly with different color glitters and a little scatter holo, I would set an alarm to grab it immediately.

This colab came out at just the right time because I've been seeing a lot of colors in halloween decorations that look almost similar to the colors in the Safya x Holo Taco box.
I overslept and was happily surprised (for you) to see the big box already sold out. Thankfully I was able to get the regular collector's box and it arrived today so yay!
I think anyone should be able to wear a color they find appealing…. It’s a shame you can’t just enjoy it and wear it. It is just so dumb because it’s cool!
It still amazes me how I very rarely paint my nails and even when I paint is just a basically clear colour but I’ve seen all your videos and I’m so excited for this collab 😂
This was my first Holo Taco purchase ever. I was waiting for this forever lol… i’ve been watching both channels for years and it honestly didn’t hit me how long it had really been until i had the email come in for the 4th anniversary collection. I definitely blew my “self care/fun money” budget for the year with the collection box, but I knew there was no chance I could miss this one. i also picked up a couple extra cremes and some tacos and bases that i’ve been eyeing since the first launch in 2019. can’t wait to see it in person.

i feel so lucky that i was able to order the collection box, just the polishes cause the full bundle was sold out, and as much as i wanted the glass fie it was also already sold out when i was ordering. i've been wanting to order Holo Taco for years but i never did cause i don't paint my nails as often as i used to, finally ordered for the first time with this collabso i'm using this as an excuse to start painting my nails again lol

She has stated many times that she can’t realistically make everything part of the permanent collection. She doesn’t like stressing people out with limited editions, so she does her best to estimate how much product will be purchased. It sounds like they expected it to be big, but not quite as big as it ended up being. They are doing their best.

There's a lot of space between "every product is part of the permanent lineup" and "you have to follow the channel and camp on the website to have a chance to buy the products". No one expects a nail polish company to keep every item forever, and seasonal polishes that are not restocked are normal. I just find it hard to imagine that HT underestimated the sales by that much. The last time HT did a collab with a RUclipsr the stuff sold out absurdly fast, and from what I understand this youtuber is more popular than the other one. It's their call how they want to run a business, and generating hype (look how fast we sold out!) generates sales overall, plus then they don't have to worry about old stock. It's just not the vibe for me.
Spirit Fingers is the most amazing unique polish I've ever seen! I've watched for years (both channels) but never been able to afford to buy any. I bought it with a base & glossy taco with afterpay. So excited! Got my shipping notification yesterday!!
I was super excited for this collection, I knew Safiya would make it spooky! I got the entire collection with collection box (My first box, too!), it sings to my gothic heart. It looks like a grimore, I love it, can't wait till it gets here.
