    This is the BMT I should have known about 50 years ago. This show gives a wealth of information I never learned from the train crews. Probably, they never knew about the BMT themselves. BMT Lines, I look forward to buying your book.

    As a born and raised ny'er, ...gotta say, I love your channel sir. The el footage is amazing, as not being born till "68, I missed it all. Blows my mind when I see them in old film noirs....(the dark corner, lost weekend etc)

    That last part you basically had a version of the NX That ran from manhattan via Sea Beach through the Brighton to Fulton St. Wild.

    Thank you, quite interesting. I think the videos would be much better with your voice instead of robo-voice!

      I tried but I keep making too many bloopers, and get frustrated. The other problem I have is that I don't have a sound proof environment. There is just too much outside noise so that was frustrating me too. I am working on installing sound dampening curtains - perhaps then I might try again.

      agreed, but for robo-voice not too bad, it had a little inflection here and there, vs. the ones that are practically monotone.

      If I can get a quieter environment without constant interruptions I may try again with my own voice

      @@BMTLines You cannot do everything in one day. If you could, you would have done so just to satisfy your audience. I think you spoke well enough under the circumstances, in order to get your presentation through.

    Were the 14th street-Fulton line trains operated using BMT Multis/Bluebirds or with Regular Subway Trains?

      I may do a separate video on the 14th Street line in the future like I did for the Astoria and Flushing lines. To answer your question I understand that Multis were used on that route

    • @1575murray
      @1575murray 3 года назад +1

      The Multis/Bluebirds were the only equipment that could operate on that route since they had to operate over an unrebuilt section of the Fulton St. line that could not support subway cars.

      Actually this is on a list of videos that I will be re-doing. At the time I had a poor microphone. I have a much better setup now. I also plan on dividing the video so that each grouping of services is separated and a bit less rushed.
