Just to suggest some other simple, easy options for hanging: 1) Metal curtain rings with clips. You can find them at Lowe’s with the curtain rods. 2) Grommet rings that you hammer into the fabric using a grommet tool. These can be found at Joanns and come in silver, brass, and dk brown metal. Love the sewing machine! What a great one to teach sewing to kids!
Hilary you really did a good job sewing your shower curtain. Most sewing is done with a straight line unless you sew the special stitches. You took a shortcut by not making button holes which your machine may not have that feature. The point is your curtain is beautiful and will get the job done. I am very proud but not surprised you accomplished or tackled this job. TFS with us.
