$22 is extremely cheap for pipe tobacco here in Sweden. Especially for a 100g tin! Here in Sweden you have to pay about $36 for a regular 50g savinelli tin. And that's not considered expensive (to a pipe smoker). It's fascinating how much of a difference there is. The cheapest 100g tin I can find here in Stockholm costs $63. That's just not fair!
That's very expensive indeed. I live in the south of spain and a 50g tin of Capstan, Peterson Irish or any of the Mac Barens will cost 7€ W o larsen 1864 100g tin will cost 14€ The reason of course is, tobacco is tax free and low income. Happy piping brother
If Larsen say theres burley in it, then there is. Its your right not to like it but your comments diverge significantly from other reviewers. Still, no right or wrong and maybe others may agree with you.
@TimeTavelingScamp tobacco all together, even the unimported tailored cigarettes are about $20 for a pack of 25's the roll your own tobacco pouches are about $30 and for "luxury" stuff like cigars and pipe tobacco you would pay more in shops, even captain blacks are expensive
I think I've tried WO Larsen's Signature tobacco some time ago and the tobacco itself felt of decent quality (keeping in mind I was just starting out), but the smoke was nothing special and it's way too expensive.
Hm. I bought an unknown tobacco off a friend. Disgusting. Methinks it was this. Horribly spicy and room note smells like mothballs. Out of the jar it smells great.

Sorry for your first Larsen experience. Don't believe I have tried 1864. Well I don't smoke aromatics anymore, but it sounds good, ha. Cheers!
