By the way the Chaos Computer Club (CCC) is now a serious organization and on occasion advisor to the german government. It upholds the core principles of information freedom, personal liberties and net neutrality. The club has come a long way since the 80s without losing themselves or their chaos for that matter.

Congrats on doing this video. I learnt about Hagbard, Pengo, their team, what they were doing with KGB, their personal stories and of course CCC from a local computer magazine around late 90's or early 00's, never found anyone else mentioning them in youtube and back then in general english speaking internet parts. Pengo's story and skills was also very impressive (he is said that on an online fight with an admin, he developed a worm, possibly the first ever created, cause admin asked him to leave or something like this). Plenty of lessons can be taken from this story. For real, BRAVO! Literally, this story is imprinted in my mind, for YEARS, read it again and again so I could grasp every detail the story was talking about! :) THANK YOU!!! and happy new year btw ;)

Whenever I hear people talk about Illuminatus, I get the strong feeling most people are missing its sarcasm due to the modern context of disturbingly similar serious beliefs proliferating all around us. Wilson and Shea didn't think people would actually believe them. They were trying to clown on the Birchers while acknowledging the wildness of their times. They got way more than they bargained for when they published that book.

Yea, I don't think Hagbard took his own life. Nor do I believe that there weren't actually important identifying documents that were used in the Project Showerhead honey pot. There were over 20 different scientists of various disciplines connected to the "Stars Wars Project" who were, imho, murdered in the most macabre and some times even tortuous ways. It's not very difficult logical leap to make, that Hagbards mysterious death was also a murder.

Ah the first trilogy... read those, and the rest As soon as you mentioned Hagbard my mind went straight to those books. Narrator came to same conclusion on it, a lot of facts mixed in with fiction, you have to check which is which to really understand it. Used to take us years to fact check as I was 13 when the first of the trilogy came out and was given to me. It too did change my life but not the same way. It openned my mind to new ideas. I'm now sixty. and found this very interesting. Got "Cosmic Trigger I (II is around here somewhere) Final secrets of the Illuminatti sat on my table next to me. There is also a second trilogy too oh as is Masks of the illuminatti... unless that is the title of two.

That trilogy of books would be rather dangerous for anyone with serious mental health issues, or identity issues. Even to what I consider my 'normal' mind at the time, it is designed to mess with you HARD. By the end of reading it, you literally do not know what is true or not anymore. It was designed specifically to cause that confusion, and the book is so bold that it tells you that within the text. Robert Anton Wilson knew *exactly* what he was doing, and he and Shea made it happen. Fnord

Funny isnt it how long it took to code for graphics as good as the opening sequence back in the 80's. That (if possible) would have burned your brain out, crashed your hardware a million times and your tape saves would have had to have been on brand new tapes - instead of the C60 one you had been dubbing over few hundred times. But you'd likely land a job with a software firm pretty quick: and be found dead floating face down in an indoor swimming pool of Jack Daniels and dissolved cocaine. 🤣
