@ I take it you live on Vancouver Island. I can tell you the island stole our heart. You are extremely blessed to live there. You’ll get there soon enough.
The rainforest trails were beautiful! The water was gorgeous. The campground was beautiful. It is always an added bonus to be so close to the water. I loved all the driftwood on the beaches! Molly is such a great hiker! The ice cream looked delicious! Thank you for another gorgeous video!
Hello Bruce and Karla, if we lived in Washington, we can guarantee we would be spending a lot of time on Vancouver Island. That place stole our heart. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Heya from a Canadian who lived in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island for 33 years. I just had to say you're doing a lovely job of showcasing the beauty of the island. I always appreciated how lucky I was to live in beautiful BC and experience it first hand every day. Thank you for your video. I miss walking the beaches and the trails, the peace and quiet and the smell of the ocean. I hope Canada treated you well and safe travels! Shelagh
Thank you for joining us! You are so blessed to live on Vancouver Island. It will always be one of our favorite places and will always be close to our hearts. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
I have mobility issues and live vicariously through your videos. Thank you for everything you do and show. Although I would have some major difficulty I would love trying some of the trails and places you have gone. Love you, Stan and Molly, please be safe always.
Hello Cathy, thank you for letting us know! It means the world to us that we could share our adventures with you! Molly is our dog.🐶 We love you too!! Thank you for joining us and giving us such a heart warming comment. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Another beautiful video, y'all! We loved the views of the lake and seashore. Stan's "oh no, not that" expression when Rhonda started tossing ideas around when the planned kayaking fell through was really funny! He didn't look too enthusiastic for some reason! I wonder why? 🤔🤫😉😂 Those scenes brought back a lot of memories of our trip to the UP this past summer and the places we stayed. The decaying trees feeding new life in the forest brought back memories of rotting tree stumps in the UP. Those are what's left of the clear cutting of the forests there at the turn of the 20th century. Those stumps are still there more than 120 years later, though somewhat worse for wear. Stan sharing Rhonda's outhouse "experience" (have y'all noticed that everything today is an "experience" whether it is or not) brought back memories of our trips to the "little brown house" behind our cabin in the UP when we were kids. The one we used was tar paper on the plank walls, and no one could stand the smell; it was quite "aromatic" and would definitely clear you sinuses. Bats would get up behind the tar paper because it was warm there during the day. My sisters were scared witless about those bats. We certainly are spoiled with our flush toilets these days! Thank you so much for sharing your travels with everyone. They are well done and very enjoyable! Keep up the good work! One thing we like is when you record the signage and information kiosks along the trails. We can pause the video and read the story. That really adds another dimension to y'alls videos. We look forward to the new cinematography every week! Take care, safe travels, and God bless y'all! Bob and Dottie
Good morning Bob and Dottie, your comments are always so inspirational. What would we do without you. It warms our hearts every time we read them knowing it brings back some great memories. Rhonda busting out of the outhouse was one of the funniest things she has ever done. I will remember that for the rest of my life. We regret we did not get that on video. But honestly who would believe it’s real with me standing there with a video camera. May God continue to bless you both, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Thanks, guys! Y'all's adventures inspire us, too (and keep us warm during the ice-sleet-snow-sleet-ice storm we're having right now!). Keep up the good work! Bob and Dottie ❤
During WWII, the Canadian army and air force had encampment on Long Beach, and they incinerated their garbage adjacent to the rock, hence named Incinerator Rock. Thank you for your visit to our beautiful island. Safe travels.
Hello 👋 You are so welcome!! The island has such a diverse landscape; beaches, rainforests, cities! We have a few more fun episodes on the island before we head over to Whistler. Thank you for coming along! We appreciate your kind words ~ Rhonda and Stan
I really do appreciate the beauty and professional quality of your videos. Comments such as these, should inspire you to carry on with your adventures. Rhonda, you don't put gas in a diesel engine. Gotta pick on you a wee bit, or I wouldn't be me. Stan, your barking "get on the ground" skeered me. You would've been a good Marine Corps Drill Sergeant. Peace and be safe!
Hi Stan and Rhonda! Be it hiking, kayaking, biking, or just shooting the breeze, it's always a joy adventuring vicariously with you guys. Have a happy, safe, and healthy 2025. Keep busting outta crappy outhouses, and keep that big boy voice under wraps.😁🙏🏾💙🤍❤️
Hello Raoul, thank you for the chuckle! Happy New Year. We always appreciate your kind words. Wishing your best life in 2025. Thank you for joining us! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
We really enjoy your channel! Thank you for your service as a peace officer! My bride and I met at NAU 45 years ago. Retired now in Tennessee. Love exploring the country with our camper. God bless!!
You’re so kind! Thank you 😊 We are just trying to show everyone that there is still good in the world! We see it out there when we travel. Thanks for coming along with us! ~ Rhonda and Stan
Hi Stuward, that’s pretty funny. I have always told Rhonda. My life in Law Enforcement was living two lives. The two were totally different. Rhonda called it the changing of the hats. I like the quiet Stan. Now there is only one Stan. I don’t have to get my point across anymore, no more quick second decisions, and most importantly I get to shine the light of the Lord without retribution. It never stop me because I always shared the Lord with folks at the worst time of their lives. God always has a plan. I would tell them. You can accept it or don’t and continue on the same road you’re on. Thank you for allowing me to share. Till the next time, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Hello Jeff and Lorie, it was so beautiful I am sure FLO W’s twin would love it there too! See you soon can’t wait to travel together. Let’s see what shenanigans the Lord has in store for us!! Much love, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Hi, we want to thank you for guiding us as we were looking for a 5th wheel to full time in. A week ago we purchased a 2025, Grand Design Influence 3503GK and per your recommendation we also purchased an Anderson hitch. Interesting we moved from a Grand Design Imagine 2670ML sorta like you guys. We live in Walla Walla Washington and had to go to Great Falls Montana to get our rig. We are sure loving our choice. Thank you for your blog. Wes and Karen
Hello Wes and Karen, congratulations! You belong to the 5ver club! Why did we wait so long? It is so much easier now!! The 3503GK was definitely one of our favorites. I can’t say enough about the Anderson Hitch. It’s not for everyone but it is definitely the one for us. We love the simplicity of it. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We hope to see you down the road one day. Blessings on your new adventure, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
when you come on down back into the states and you come through Washington State, you might take in the Olympic National Forest. You could make the loop from Port Angles/ Forks (where they filmed the Vampire movie) go south on 101 down all the way to Olympia. There are some beautiful places to hike, Sal Duck is one of them and the forests are just as beautiful as what you see there. Anyway, just a suggestion if you go that way. The drive down 101 is also very beautiful and if you stop at Klaylock (sp) Lodge, you can see one of the biggest and oldest cedar trees in the Pacific N.W. Thanks for taking us along, and Happy New Year. Here's to many more great adventures!!
Hello Stephan, if you go back to Season 4 “A First For Everything.” We did several videos on Olympic National Park. Thank you for joining us! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Wow! Love that trail you guys did, such a pretty place. Can't agree more with the decision to not kayak on the lake - that would have been miserable! Looking forward to more! See you soon :)
Hi Guys, we thank you for joining us! We finally got our trailer back and ready to hit the road. 1st stop is the United Rally. See you soon! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Hi Chris, thank you for joining us! Funny you asked! They are not joggers. I was wearing my mountain bike pants made by Rock Brothers. They are really comfortable and have built in insulation. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Hi Dawn!! Thank you for joining us! We had some folks tell us that live on the island that it is warmer there than in Texas. Isn’t that strange. We used to live in the mountains for 30 years and did below zero and shovel snow every season. The four seasons were beautiful for all the years we lived there. We do miss it but we love the Arizona weather. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
Hi Diane, thank you for letting us know! We left a good part of our heart in Vancouver Island. We can’t wait for a return trip. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
'Get on the ground!'...how utterly charming.
Working gangs most of my career! I said that a lot. I’m enjoying the water on this side of life. Thank you for joining us! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️
