- Today Rafa added the jail bars and some other details on the '59 bus (rocker trim went on yesterday, not today, and certainly NOT tomorrow in the future lol. My brain was toast at the end of the day!). I pulled the main wiring harness and did a little more wiring and other odds and ends on the 68 Double Cab.

On the crewcab, its so good that the additional wiring is being put in from the start, as if it was factory fit. It is so well thought out, so far!

Hate to be that guy but 59 buses came with “big spoon” window latches. From what I gathered they had 5 big spoon latches plus a small latch that went on the forward cargo door. You can get repro big spoon latches.
No, you're 100% correct. I don't know why we used those, I didn't even know till I saw them installed. Maybe the owner provided them, I'll look into it. 👍

Wiring… almost as bad as brake lines 😂 Lots of forward thinking to do when you’re putting things together. What’s the worst thing you’ve assembled that you discovered you had to take back apart cause you forgot something? Thanks Stew! I'll take wiring over brake lines any day! Lol. Yeah, I hate that feeling lol. Luckily it doesn't happen too often. The owner plans to DRIVE it, a lot! Thats why it's getting heat, AC, fuel injection, leather, the works!
