@@BlastHeart96 if they can't wait for you to load in, they probably deserve it lol. i hate people that don't wait for the tank/heal, or tanks that pace too fast.
Haven't been able to raid on my main for months because of huge loading screen issues. Did the first two things in this video and I've had no issues today 😁. Thank you so much. You're amazing!
I was not aware that streaming WoW to Facebook was even a thing before this video, and sure enough, disabling that option (not sure how it got activated in the first place, as I don't stream at all) helped tremendously. Thank you so much for making this video. I've been complaining about the long loading screen times since the start of Legion. You are awesome!
4th Way: Remove ALL addons.... and panic at the UI, Lack of Information and helpful things you now have infront of you... ! - but you'll have veeeeery short loading screens...! ;) Thanks a lot for the tips Hazel!!! I believe it shortened my screens a bit :) (Already had SSD)
I did it and it works very nicely! Indeed it takes me a maximum of 10 seconds to enter the game. As for a SSD I would recommend Gigastone because all of their SSD comes with a 10 years warranty instead of 1 to 3 years and they are supper fast too!! ;)
wtf Anti-Alias just made an INSANE difference for me. Set it to "none" and barely notice any visual change. Once again, Hazel making our WoW lives better
When does your CD cime out??? Because YOU are a ROCK STAR!!! The console command fixed the problem! Thank you for taking the time to make and share this video!!!
Thanks Hazel, that really helped a lot for me! Also your guides on Antorus has helped me a lot aswell, since I am main tank in my guild, I need to stay on top on all the mechanics both in normal and HC. So thank you, very much, you really helped me! Merry Christmas to you and yours! - From Denmark
Two SSDs with two different drive letters (not in RAID with each other) is the best option. Install OS on one, minor apps, Office, virtual RAM, etc on the main one, and on the second one, install your games like WoW, SW:TOR, Etc. Best case scenario, you can gain some performance even if you are using two mechanical drives the same way. As long as your major games aren't installed on the same drive or partition that your swap/virtual RAM is using.
Number 4: Keep your addons updated. An out of date DBM was giving me long loading times, updated it and no problems. Personally though I would use Bigwigs. It does the same thing but it's a lot more lightweight than DBM.
omg disabling fb live not only made loading screen faster, but increased my fps too. also clicking wow when on taskbar switches to game instantaneously, no 1sec of black screen. thank you
Tried out the two options that don't require new hardware (that SSD for my MMOs is always on the list of things to do but always gets pushed back) and I'm definitely seeing an improvement. Thanks for the tips :)
You will have to type it everytime u log in, or u can make a macro for it.. both works... the reason why the WTF folder one is mentioned is because you make it a part of the load config by doing so.. hence u wouldnt have to type it in everytime u log on if u have that file in the WTF folder....
WHY WAS I NOT SUBSCRIBED RUclips!!!! I personally only have problems when it comes to loading into Dalaran but not bad enough to start putting in commands... I have it on my SSD and knew about the streaming tick but I feel this'll help my guildies with annoyances.. THANK YOU!
Any way you could make an updated version? Aside from spending money and modifying my computer, what else do you have? That console command didn't seem to do anything, and there's no "Streaming" option in the settings. I log in and it takes several minutes some times before assets load. I'll be on my mount, and I can move around, but the camera is stuck in one spot and my character disappears. If I dismount my camera shoots to my new location. This can take several minutes to sort out. Some times it's 20 seconds, and some times it's 3 minutes. I just bought a new graphics card, and I've disabled some of the really heavy stuff, but I still have serious loading issues.
SSD makes all the difference in the world. If you can wipe your OS and load it on to an SSD as well you will see the remarkable change of pace, from as soon as you boot up.
i have a laptop,...so i have to take out the hard drive to put in the SSD? if i got one of those memory sticks, could i put wow on that & would it still work better than just using my current hard drive? help! ...i'm confused! ;)
I tried all of these and many more but still had problems with the loading screen. The one thing that fixed it for me was to switch the blizzard client back to standard and not beta by clicking blizzard logo > settings > beta
Hmm, did all that, takes about 10 secs to switch characters now. Is that reasonable or is it possible to do better? This is on a laptop that only takes 3 secs to cold boot windows.
What is the problem with high world latency? It's terrible for me wow has been unplayable.. all my other gadgets are fine. Thanks for this video hazel I thought the long loading was normal 😣
I have WoW installed on an M.2 SSD and still dungeons regularly take like 20 - 30 seconds to load, whenever i teleport to a city i haven´t been to since starting the game i get a loading screen time of somewhere between 50 seconds and 2 minutes. This will also happen again if i go there again after being to 3-4 other locations. When im finally out of the loading screen i regularly cant move/mount up/fly/talk to npcs etc.... also a lot of objects and npcs take a long time to load - after another 40 seconds to 1.5 minutes everything is loaded .... this is so fucking dumb. I have no idea how to fix that. oh, i forgot - sometimes im stuck with a completely filled loading bar and nothing will happen until i press alt+f4 and restart the game.
I was wondering why was your amazon listings for the 120 Gb disc cost as much as the ones for the 500 Gb for me and then i looked that the video was made 1.5 half years ago, damn they are cheap now xD
What about making a video about how to increase loading screen times? I like the little break they give me.
Download a crap ton of addons 😂
ME A ‘ F I need to take healer breaks, don’t let my guild see this please.
You should play on a really... really... really slow laptop. Like mine! :D
Yeah I love taking forever to load into a dungeon as a healer and everyone is dead when I load in. 😆
@@BlastHeart96 if they can't wait for you to load in, they probably deserve it lol. i hate people that don't wait for the tank/heal, or tanks that pace too fast.
5 years later and this console command cut my loading screens down to seconds! Thank you very much Hazel!
Haven't been able to raid on my main for months because of huge loading screen issues.

Thank you it was the streaming option i never even knew that was there learn a knew thing everyday.

Thanks a lot for the tips Hazel!!! I believe it shortened my screens a bit :) (Already had SSD)
OMFG, you are amazing! I'll keep an eye on it, but I used the console command, and my Dalaran loading was practically instantaneous. Very impressed.
Just found this video did step 1 and 2. Load times are SO much better now. Thank you.
Holy shit. Two years later, and the console command still was able to help me.
Awesome tips video here Hazel , I tried the first 2 tips and wow what a difference it makes on loading screens now !!! Super Big thumbs up !!!
Thanks for the tips Hazel. You're awesome!
Thank you, Hazel! The first tip did the trick. Didn't know that option was enabled by default, but turning it off has made it way quicker!
Fuyu no Kitsune I didn’t know about it either.
Thanks Hazel! A combo of the Console command and disabling the streaming feature like drastically reduced my load screen times!
Disabling Facebook streaming worked for me too! Thanks Hazel!
I did it and it works very nicely! Indeed it takes me a maximum of 10 seconds to enter the game. As for a SSD I would recommend Gigastone because all of their SSD comes with a 10 years warranty instead of 1 to 3 years and they are supper fast too!! ;)
So I opened my game settings for WoW on the blizzard launcher and "Streaming" isn't an option......??
was having problems with LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG loading screens in BFA, even losing me in arenas, and this has completely fixed that ty so much :D
Dear Hazel, you have no idea how much you helped me with this video. Thank you so much! Keep up the great work!
There is no streaming option anymore.
it got removed so no need to worry about it anymore. it increased loading time so blizzard removed it
I love videos like this. I had no idea about that streaming option.
wtf Anti-Alias just made an INSANE difference for me. Set it to "none" and barely notice any visual change.

Awesome short sweet guide! These helps me out a ton, thank you so much for doing them Hazel! :)

Omg thank you so very much. It’s been slow like that forever. So much better. Thumbs up from me. Love your videos. Thanks.
Awesome tips Hazel! Love your channel- keep up the great work!
You little beauty! Thank you the console command fixed the misery. Love your work
Thank you!!! Did not understand way my Loding did take so mutch long, but after I disabel the streaming it work mutch better ;)
omg disabling fb live not only made loading screen faster, but increased my fps too. also clicking wow when on taskbar switches to game instantaneously, no 1sec of black screen. thank you
Just gave these a shot and it does seem to load a bit faster. Cheers for the info!
Thank you! Thank You! Thank you! I had no idea other people had this problem too. This really helped and made a very noticeable difference.
Ideally to watch when having a long loading screen ^^
Stardweller Overwatch I’m doing that rn...
turning off streaming made a huge difference. Thanks!!
I had the damn streaming still turned on on my notebook ... thanks Hazel for the reminder.
I think first option resolved all things! Thank you!
Yaaaaaaas queen! This was something I brought up to my husband just a few days ago. I was wondering what I could do to reduce loading time.
Tried out the two options that don't require new hardware (that SSD for my MMOs is always on the list of things to do but always gets pushed back) and I'm definitely seeing an improvement. Thanks for the tips :)
for that console command do you have to type that in every time you log in? or just once
i need the answer to that as well

I do not know how much these will help, but thanks for the tips :D

I'm gonna try the first two. Have to wait awhile before trying the SSD.
Do you have to type that console command every time you log in?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Just turning off the streaming option fixed it for me!
Thanks for the tips, Hazel. Do you know a console command to check the current status of worldPreloadNonCritical?
This video was the highlight of my day!!!! :)
Thank :) The console command seems to have fixed it for me.
hey i cant find the streaming option on my battle net option i dont know why, does that mean i dont have it enable?
Thank you very much. The console command worked for me.

Reduce your view distance makes a massive difference
Console commad worked for me! Thanks Hazel!

I needed these tips for my pc :D
Helpful and adorable. Thank you very much ^_^

bloody legend Hazel thanks

Thanks that was actually helpful, all 3 tips
thank you. fixed my son's load times
O M G you’re a godsend.
I had made a inside joke with my guild about Legioning in (loading in) never had this problem with WoD hahah
I JUST DID THIS AND IT WORKED!!!! I LOVE U !
Surprisingly helpful!
I found the command just made my loading ingame slower rather than my loading screen.
would the SSD work for me when im using a MSI gamer laptop?
SSD works for any operative system and build.
I recently bought an HHD hard drive and the loading screens where drastically shortened for me.
wow. didnt realize this was an automatically selected option. why though? thanks for the video!
WAS just talking about this in a group (the long load ins)
Aaand what to do about streaming in firestorm i can't play the offical one im poor
This worked :) It was facebook stream all along!
What are your pc specs?
I have WoW installed on an M.2 SSD and still dungeons regularly take like 20 - 30 seconds to load, whenever i teleport to a city i haven´t been to since starting the game i get a loading screen time of somewhere between 50 seconds and 2 minutes. First to say first second comment and disabling the streaming to facebook worked like a charm
Thank you so much for this.
Keel video! I was expecting nonsense tbh :p
Awwwww Hazel, you ROCK! "Subscribed!" :P
thanks for these :)
Thank you! You are awesome
Just the thing i need haha, thanks hazel
What is anti-aliasing
I was wondering why was your amazon listings for the 120 Gb disc cost as much as the ones for the 500 Gb for me and then i looked that the video was made 1.5 half years ago, damn they are cheap now xD
This video was shorter than my loading times.
Rename your CACHE folder as well to something like CACHOLD and when you start a new game it will rebuild a new CACHE folder fixing possible problems.
Thank you so so so much!!
Large enough SSD to hold OS and your games and larger/faster RAM is the best option.
Also I've been told manually connecting to the wifi helps to
1 and 2 didn't help and I'm already running wow off of a fast SSD.
Awwww Gnomes are so cute
Thanks Hazel!
