I have to give it to you. Despite your Hulk Hogan looks you are making sense and it's one of the few people on RUclips that gives no nonsense straight talks that aren't filled with fluff like Latin muscle names or Infomercial grade animations. I like you. I like what you are doing too.👍

At 65, with bad shoulders and 2 major surgeries on my left shoulder, I switched to bands 2.5 years ago, and I don’t have any joint pain since using bands, they have been lifesavers for my joints, proud owner of 3 sets of Undersun bands.

This is true. Many injuries happens when moving weights around in the gym before and after. Very often after, because you have fatigue after you have done hard reps. I use both elastics and weights, plus bodyweight, and found that combination is really good. The shoulder is so easy to hurt bad, so I think, elastics are good for some of those exercises.

Great Video, I have trained with weights for the better part of my life, tore 2/3 of my Supraspinatus last year , that was it for weight training and sports till I found a solution. Working around a serious injury with your advice /program and bands I am amazed at the results. Back in the game type of thing. Huge impact on maintaining my life style. Much appreciate.

Dude is a total scammer. his customer service never answered me. Amazon has always got me covered. They let me return those shitty bands without any workout programs.

    Hi,
thanks for your words and thoughts!
Well, the only problem I have is to know what "weight" I work against with a resistance band.
With dumbbells I have "numbers", with bands only a range like e.g. 12-24kg, 18-32kg.
Since the bands offer the maximum resistance by stretching them very much, when do I have which "number" I work against.
    Thanks in advance!

The bands are all rated for specific weights. Your body will know if it’s too much or not enough. Good from the perspective that there is less chance of if injury

I love exercise bands, for some reason they remind of that song If I could turn back time.

With bands you completely miss out on the important growth advantage of lengthened partials as they are weakest at the lengthened partial end where they should be strongest

It's the opposite my friend. The bands are stronger in the phase of the movement on which we have more strenght. Think about a chest press. Therefore variable resistance, if used with the proper intensity, is superior to free weights for general growth and for building muscle.

@@march80079Totally agreed! I got sick from Covid leading to Pulmonary Fibrosis two years ago. At the time I got sick I was super muscular training at home with weights. But I lost 70 lbs to 129lbs while in the hospital on a feeding tube and being trach vented. I was hospitalized in all 101 days. When I went home I learned I was gonna have to rebuild myself slowly and perhaps never lift again. As I started to gain strength at home. I sold all my fitness equipment out of necessity but kept one light resistance band I owned. I finally about 10 months ago bought a few more bands and eased myself into training again. I'm still only at 50% lung function and have to train slower and much differently. But with bands and bodyweight only I'm at 182 lbs and around 13% body fat with bands as my primary training source.
