I watched 5 videos before yours, and yours was the only one to be honest about the strength and weight tolerance of the retractable gate. Thank you for putting together the only helpful review to help me make my decision!
The walk trough gates that have a threshold was the blame to my head injury. I have since bought retractable gates and swing open no bar on the floor. That’s something to consider.
So your accidental fall is the fault of the company? You install a gate knowingly there is a floor bar (intentionally for structural integrity) then fall over it.
Subscribed, I am looking to keep a dog in a shower we are making, but don't want to have it in front all the time. After watching your video I think maybe the mesh one would be best. Unfortunately I can't get the Cumber Retractable gate as I am in Canada, here on amazon we have this one, Veraste Retractable Baby Gate,Mesh Baby Gate. What are your thoughts?
We have the bottoms of our walls covered with baseboard molding and it’s rounded and not flat like yours. We are currently renting and we haven’t been able to find a baby that will fit that molding. Any suggestions?
3:37 you mean for the bottom of your stairs? You say top but then say you recommend a steel gate for the top as is stronger. Sound like your contradicting yourself.

Thank you! Your video was the best help. I took my time, carefully read instructions and kept your video close.
Purchased one through your link, appreciate the thorough video!
We had a babelio gate and the ez-anchor they provided ruined our drywall. Thank you for sharing!

What option works best for curved stair entrances ?
For a curved stair entrance or any awkward entrance I would recommend the Toddleroo because you can adjust it to fit so many different ways

I don't think this is available in Canada
You need some older siblings to test them out
