Pen and Wash Demonstration : The Lighthouse (Small 7x5 Version)

As a technique pen and wash demo of a lighthouse is pretty straightforward and ideal for beginners and people new to art. The pen and wash (often called line and wash) is also perfect for urban sketching.
I used the same reference image in a previous demo that was A4 - I did this to see a side by side comparison of how sketch size effects the ration of line weight to colouring.

Another good watch, fwiw I prefer the finished painting on the L of screen, tho as you said during the tutorial could've stopped at various points along the way and it would've been finished 😏 I've only painted 2 lighthouses but think I might try some more 😃 thanks
