Should the clutch exhaust be run higher?

Looking at the air intake height and clutch intake & exhaust location on the Arctic Cat XR and Alterra models. If you were to snorkel your Alterra ATV then your clutch exhaust would need to be run up higher with the air intake to reduce the chance of getting water in it. What other options to keep the clutch exhaust clear from water? Let me know your thoughts for snorkeling in the comments!

Looking at where you are thinking of routing. Might work, but I found the path of least resistance was the left side.

Why high mount everything then have the clutch low?
I used an adapter and heavy duty shop vac hose to run it up to the front with the others.
All ATV,s should be stealth snorkelled by the factory. Why allow a way to be stuck in the woods?

Happened to me first time out on it and got enough water in the clutch to make the belt slip a bit. Lol
