Alanis Trucking i did tell you i was going to buy one so i got the 2020 xtp1000. 50 miles in and its slugish . I always smell and hear a belt more on reverse . The first couple of miles it was good but as i was beating on it with my wife in the back seat . Now its either in my brain but the other day as soon as i power out reverse on my driveway i hear the belt and off the line i feel like im loosing .
@@claudiohysi9203 You’re not alone.. in reverse my 1000 xt was doing the same thing... It was good at first. But than after the 120 mile mark is when I start beating on it. I can smell the belt and it feels alittle tiny bit sluggish. I’m looking to buy qsc clutch coming out next month. Going for a higher stall and a maybe at 2,800 or 2,600 Rpm launch. Trevor will give you awesome feed back and info on what you’re looking for in your quad.
A little late to the party but there's a cap on the right side you can remove and put a back up directly on the crank. makes tightening the primary so much easier. Great video and easy to watch. thanks
Dalton clutch kit for my 650 Outlander 2015. Went from stock tires to 26 " bear claw HTR. 11 wides in the back. Just put in the Dalton steel rollers on the primary. Rollers worked as promised. In hindsight I should of just got a new primary but I'm good to go with this setup. Lots of get up and go over stock and just lost about 10 kph on top end. 123 to 113. Once I get my bike thawed out from the weekend I'll have to try a top speed test in low and high with the new rollers and new belt. I would really like to see lots of before and after numbers and videos of this machine.
That is awesome! Can't wait until I can get one! This is exactly what I am wanting to do. You must have been doing your homework. You are getting nothing but the best! 👍 👌 👊
Good video Kyle! I like the bloopers Haha. And yeah now that you have the clutch done it will giddy up in a hurry that's for sure! Can't wait to see some trail videos here in the short future I hope.
Nice video. I have a 2012 outlander 1000xt. A Torque locker is a huge improvement over the visco front diff. I'll be posting a video on my install soon. Love your mods and videos your making. Keep up the good work man
Cool! Congrats on reaching 1,000! Was talking with Jobe (ehTV) on the phone today and he suggested I check out your channel. Looks like I'll be spending some time here - LOL
I have a Milwaukee #2767-22 that will break lose anything and more than any 1/2" pneumatic impact will. It has 1400 ft lbs of break away torque and 1100 ft lbs of forward torque. Believe me when I say it is a true bad a$$! 👍 👌
Mainville ATV and Outdoors I do know that every 18 wheeler lug nut has come off with it.and you can bust a 36mm cv nut in half with it because I tried it on a old vehicle we had. Trying to tighten it as tight as I could and the nut actually busted in 2 pieces. The part number I listed is the strongest cordless impact out! It definitely made a believer out of me. And it is nice to never have to pull out any air hoses any more. It literally takes any nut on any car I have put it on. If it don't pull it off it will brake it off. You should look into it,I promise you it is that strong. You can't get the mid torque it must be that one it is a high torque.
So I've been looking at the dalton clutch set up with the springs , what is the difference between the 2 beside removing the the primary. Meaning torque and speed ,i am mainly looking for speed.
cool report, don't understand everything exactly, but that's because of my knowledge of English. Where did you buy the special tools and keys for the variator?
Question for you. I have one of these clutches on a 2018 outlander max and need to pull it off. What puller do i need to do that? Have you had to take your rev x off for any reason?
Nice video. You said it ran great right out of the box, but...Is it worth the money? I got a 2019 can am xmr 850 with a Dalton kit. I Jumps pretty well now . Love the way you explained everything! I had a Dalton clutch kit for my old 450 and I didn't really like the way it engaged. Do you think they will make a QSC clutch for the 570 XMR? That's what I'm looking for if possible.
Your welcome! Best way to find out is reach out to dirty life on Facebook or by phone on their website www.dirtylife.ca! I'm sure they can sort you out!

850 xt, cvtech stm combo..luv it. one thing u maybe coulda done is put a fresh new belt on too mate to the new clutch, but great video man..keep em comin
NJM OUTDOORS CV Techs are great... had one on my Hen 1 Outty 800 but the QSC Rev X I put in my 2017 XT-P is soooo much quieter and the engagement with the the STM is extremely smooth. It got rid of most, if not all of the jerky engagement the 1000’s have. Very happy to report that there is a definite improvement over the CV Tech
@@beri232 that's great man. u probly could of put a different spring in the cvtech to lower engagement, and smooth it out, but ya they are a bit noisy too lol
Tons of power not getting to the ground? Its only ATV horsepower your talking about. You mean BRP engineers don't know how to get 90HP to the ground on a CVT? Seems like an insignificant task for a CVT to accomplish.
QSC? STM? Dalton? etc, what do you have? Let us know in the comments below!

i'm slowly building up my 570 polaris put a Dalton on it after I did a set of 26" tires and it didn't like pulling as hard . major difference
What did you do just springs or entire primary and secondary change?

Consider putting a stiffer secondary spring in, it really compliments the faster shifting if the qsc

What increased on your quad when you installed it? More take off and mid range?
Great video thx man
That qsc is like jewelry it’s a shame to cover it up
My thoughts exactly!

Do aftermarket clutches void warranty?

I heard sometimes the belt can slip if it get wet... How is that possible with these "teeths" on it ?
The ribs are solely there for strength, flexibility and cooling. Nothing actually grabs the teeth.
@@MainvilleATV how do you keep it from slipping then ? Is it waterproof ? I read somewhere you can rev it on neutral to dry it up ?
