Heaven Knows (PART I) | Crowley Animatic | Warning: Blood and Major Character Death

- Here it is. My angsty Crowley centric animatic is finally done! This one was a real doozy but I'm so happy with finally being able to release this little guy off into the RUclips world!

Explanation (I.E SPOILERS FOR THE VIDEO)
It starts off with Crowley limping to find a safe space. The war between Heaven/Hell against Humanity has finally come to fruition. He finds a tree to lie against and Aziraphale finds him. Aziraphale distracted by the various fights going on urges Crowley to stand and run with him when finally he notices that Crowley had been mortally wounded.
Right after the discovery, flashbacks of several moments run through Crowley's mind until finally he says his goodbye to Aziraphale as the rain starts to pour.
It then goes to show what's happening with Warlock and The Them. They run from the Angels and Demons pursuing them until Adam subsequently obliterates them from existence and shouts away the rain. They celebrate but it's short lived as Warlock spots Crowley in the distance.
Crowley's consciousness begins to fade in and out. Recalling raising warlock until finally he gives Warlock his glasses to help Warlock hide his tears.
Warlock stumbles back at Crowley's goodbye and we flash over to Anathema,Newt, Shadwell, and Tracy who are in their own battle.
Crowley goes unconscious and starts dreaming of everyone and better times. Until eventually his life flashes before him until he's standing in front of a light he hasn't felt in millennia. He's confused and emotional but then he senses a presence he'd recognize anywhere,
He sees Aziraphale distraught and runs towards him. He doesn't make it and he passes away.
Warlock runs towards Aziraphale and Crowley in the physical plane but is pulled away at the last second by Adam.
Aziraphale is pissed.
Michael stands several feet away with a bloody sword and smug smile.
They fight and all is left is a torn up and flaming battlefield. Aziraphale returns. The them are grieving and Aziraphale sits down and hugs crowley.

So I'm a mess right now. Good job. Jesus, this is so brilliant. The whole flashback part is incredibly bittersweet, CROWLEY SEEING GOD AS HE PASSES AWAY IS !!!!!!!!!!, the whole of the transitions from angel to current Crowley with the camera pan-around, fitting Crowley running towards Aziraphale to "I'm on my way, on my way" and then him passing to "I'm coming home" (that one awed me it's so brilliant), Aziraphale killing Michael, And the. Hug. Stab me and it would hurt less. I mean! Pun unintended. But you get what I mean. Gorgeous. I'm sobbing. Loved it!

Oh my lord, I... I... THIS HURT! I am in pain?! It's so stunning. Incredible. Beautiful. But damn, the temptation of the rose sliced my heart with its thorns.
I... I would be THRILLED to see a sequel, one where perhaps God saves Crowley in some kind of redemption narrative, but I completely understand if you want to leave your creation where you ended it.
I'll just stand here picking the thorns out of my heart. Again, amazing job.

I would like to add, for the comfort of all of those who are sobbing, if Adam still has his antichrist powers, he could bring Crowley back to like.

I can’t tell you how obsessed I’ve gotten with this animatic. It’s such a good story! Well done! (Though I gotta say, angry Aziraphale is one to be feared. 😳)
Even though it's such a sad story, it brought me warmth and serenity. "Smile darling, don't be sad..." In just 3 minutes you told an incredibly emotional and beautiful story!

I found this video yesterday and have not stopped watching it from then and throughout
today. It is so well made and has made me cry more times then I care to say. The scenes are so bitter-sweet. Shadwell using his finger as a weapon is hilarious. But, Crowley having normal eyes after finally being acknowledged by God, giving his glasses to Warlock, Aziraphel's eyes going white in his misery - it is too much. The montage with Warlock growing up was so beautiful because of the time Crowley (and Aziraphel) took to raise him. Crowley just being so loving is making me tear up over and over - caring about the others even with his last breathes.
This was so well made - sorry for the rant but it really is remarkable. I rarely cry with videos and for some reason I cannot stop crying with this one. Your art is breathtaking and the song choice brilliant. You are very talented!
Honestly, that first "Heaven knows how I've loved you" and Aziraphal's reaction is so damn beautiful and poignant, like he always knew this moment was coming and he always knew exactly how it was going to end.
It reminds me of the old (seriously old) fanfiction "Living Arrangements", which anyone who ships these two should go read right now, because there will never be a better epilogue than that fic.

Thank you! The flaming sword part was one of the main things I really wanted to animate and what better way to make Aziraphale angry enough to fight like that than with Crowley’s death 😏 It’s also rather humbling to think that you find inspiration from my art haha.

MRAakaCR So, big war happens, female archangel (forgot her name) stabs Crowley, Crowley puts his sunglasses on warlock, big feels moments occur, Crowley passes away, Azirophale is heartbroken, see’s the angel that killed Crowley smiling and kills her with flaming sword, “It will end as it began, with a garden” we see the Eden tree. Hope this helped!
