In my opinion, The Dark Knight Trilogy is one of the best trilogies every made, along with the original Star Wars trilogy and the Lord of the Rings trilogy
Batman Begins- 9/10 The Dark Knight- 10/10 The Dark Knight Rises- 9/10 The Dark Knight is definitely the best, but The Dark Knight Rises is my favorite EDIT: After 4 years of watching them for 100 more times lmao. Rises is now my least favorite. (Still a 9)
To all who cry about plot holes: Nolan did not want to waste time with showing Wayne travel to Gotham after climbing the pit. It implied that it took a long time for him to return. Because in the scene before he climbed, back in Gotham they were still two months from detonation. Also, people complain about how he got into the city. Wayne is very well connected and wealthy, I don't think this would be much of an issue for him. Personally, this was my favorite of the three movies, it frustrates me that people can't just watch this movie for what it is: greatness
The Dark Knight Rises is far superior to the normal films of today. It is at least 3 steps ahead of normal films. However, this was to be a Nolan film. Nolan films have high expectations. I think he failed to meet them with the plotholes. I don't wish to start a fight, I just want to discuss.
utrules2 also, he did spend 7 years traveling the entire world, sooooo it should be easier for him to get around. My god the haters of this film are so stupid sometimes
You’re right! There are plot holes in every movie! I don’t understand some of the hate for this movie! It was amazing! This one and the dark knight are some of the best movies made!
The amount of people that think this movie is at least 8 and above completely baffles me. Like did you guys watch it with your eyes and ears sewn shut? This is a 3/10 on a good day.
Batman - Awesometacular Batman Returns - Worth buying on Blu Ray Batman Forever - Good time if you're drunk Batman & Robin - Dogshit Batman Begins - Awesometacular The Dark Knight - Super Awesometacular The Dark Knight Rises - Awesometacular
For some, It just didn't attain the unattainable standard they thought a sequel to TDK should, For others it just wasn't the direction they wanted the movie to go in.
This maaaaaaaybe over-stepping it but I thought Bane was pretty much Darth Vader of batman in this movie. I loved the living shit outta him. He is just so goddamn EVIL in this movie. The performance was a bit underrated in my opinion. But to me, the performances are one of the key things that define the Nolan Trilogy as a whole.
+KingOfDribble HAVEING BATMAN IN IT DOESNT MAKE IT A COMIC BOOK MOVIE.SORRY IT WAS ONE OF THE WROST BUT A MASTERPIECE TRILOGY EXCEPT THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS THAT MOVIE SUCKED
Yeah, but the bomb was about to explode, what would be more logical? For Batman to waste time and fight Bane and Bane have an epic death and the bomb explodes and everybody dies? Or Bane get killed like that and everybody lives?
I seriously don't get why some people have a lot hate for this movie. A lot of people have complained about some of the plot holes, and such, but come on a film is bound to have plot holes and such, a film is not going to be 100% perfect. And some people complained about Bane, again why? What, because he's not like Bane in the comics? It's a different interpretation of the character and might I add one is much better then the Batman and Robin one, and was more closer to his comic counterpart.
The reason fans were disappointed in my opinion is the plot holes and just laziness to compress the entire film in to a 2 hour time frame. I mean come on!!! He sprayed a bridge full of gasoline to give a huge bat signal when lit. Scenes that were absolutely unnecessary, scenes with him standing on top of a tall ass building for a shot. Or the fact he was able to enter a city under complete lockdown. If the whole goal was to create anarchy and eliminate Gotham why in gods name did they have to go through all this trouble. Couldn't they just have blown it up and left if that was their goal. Plus the fact the commissioner sent his entire police force down the sewers to hunt out bane and his crew. I mean that's just plain fucking stupid. The reason TDK and BB were soo good was their attention to detail and bring this sort of realism and vulnerability to batman. In this the premise was good but unnecessarily long and drawn out. Sure TDK and BB had some conveniences but TDKR took the level of convenience to a whole other level. I mean Bane broke Batmans back but two random Criminals where able to fix it??! As much as a bash on this movie I thought it was still entertaining but when you think about it the movie just collapses on its on weight just trying to be epic and awesome.
The problem is the scale of the movie. It should've just been divided into two parts like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It crams too much in to a two hour time frame with no explanation on how other stuff happens and why its is soo damn convenient. If extended it would of had a better outcome in my opinion. Bane could've been better developed and matched or equal in the performance Heath gave for the joker. Not to say his performance was terrible but in hindsight Heath literally made TDK soo damn good. If it translated in that way it could've been much better. Plus i felt much more tension in TDK knowing that someone even batman could die. In TDKR not soo much. Sure Batman got his ass whooped but I never felt that tension of death till the very end. The end in that self kind of ruined it for me as well. If your famous and faked your death why the fuck would you show up in a cafe somewhere in fucking Europe to surprise Alfred. WHY?! Couldn't you make it more discrete and personal. I'm not hating just simply pointing out why I thought the epic finale was the weakest out of all three of the films. Not a bad movie but good to mediocre execution on Nolan's part.
Batman Begins = Star Wars - One of the first blockbusters of its type, a great movie and a breath of fresh air. Told a familiar kind of story in a new way. Total game-changer. 9/10 The Dark Knight = The Empire Strikes Back - Even better than the first. Darker, more dramatic, great character development, the stakes are higher and the villain is more compelling. Ends on a down note with the hope that things will get better. One of the most celebrated movies of its era. 10/10 The Dark Knight Rises = Return of the Jedi - Weakest of the three but still very good. We see our hero in a more mature and conflicted state, going up against a new villain who's stronger and smarter than anything he's seen before. It's pretty awesome. However, in an attempt to be the climatic finale and tie up loose ends, the movie becomes a bit of an overstuffed mess and makes some questionable writing decisions. The movie also attempts to win you over with an attractive brunette in a really sexy outfit. 7.5/10
+Michael Fraser The original was the weakest out of the 3. I agree with you completely. The struggle Luke faces between joining his father and giving into his anger by joining the dark side or staying with the light is one of the greatest set of scenes in cinema and all around one of the greatest arcs in storytelling.
I loved it when Catwoman used the dead mobster's hand and gun to shoot someone, and did an emotional 180 and started screaming and crying to fool the cops. And they didn't question it because of her gender.
I watched it the first time, I didn't quite like it as I had expected it. It short of hit me emotionally and I was trying to suppress it. The second time, I had to walk out of the theatre before I fall into an immense depression. I finally sat down and watched it the third time, it was a beautiful film.
The Dark Knight is the best of the series, but your first time watching The Dark Knight Rises on the big screen, woaw. just woaw. It without compromise or without ever destroying the illusion, truly gives you the feeling of hopelessnes. There is no hope for Gotham or Batman. It does that in an absolutely epic and truly emotional way. I really like Batman Begins, it's a fantastic movie, but I'll rank TDK as the best, TDKR as nr2 and Begins as nr3
I feel like I'm the only one who thought The Dark Knight Rises was the best of the 3. Before I get bitched at, all 3 are easily in my top 10 favorite movies of all time. I just thought the story in TDKR hit me more. The ending, bane actually felt intimidating, like he could seriously do some damage. This was, in my opinion, the BEST trilogy ever. Ever.
I have my doubts if it would be a trilogy. The contours given by Nolan, show that the story could be independent, after the protests of Wall Street. It was more like a version of the French revolution where Bane led veterans and homeless people against the establishment .... A conflict with some communist revolutionary bias, selling the idea that Bruce as a millionaire was the cause of the social differences that caused crime and corruption in his city. But I doubt Hollywood would allow such controversy and ambiguity for a Movie produced in US... So... Find a way to patch it, and make the studio very happy...
Batman Begins 10.5 The Dark Knight 10.5 The Dark Knight Rises 10.5 And a big bow to Mr. Nolan for creating such awesometacularness. One of the best trilogies ever!!!
this was my favourite one and i think the best one, then it was the dark knight, then batman begins unlike many sequel movies they get better and better
I went in thinking it would be bad because of all the people moaning about it, but I enjoyed it a lot. I don't know what people are going on about. The movie is fantastic.
+Daniel Mashanic Plot holes don't ruin a movie, and anyway, the plot holes aren't really as bad as people make out. MOST of them are actually explained, just people don't listen.
+Slade Wilson the CIA just lets Bane onto their plane without seeing who he is, how did Gordon know Bane's name if they never said it, Blake finds out who Batman is because of his eyes...., nobody bothering to explain Batman didn't kill Dent, Batman just teleporting to Gotham, Batman has his broken back fixed by being hit really hard, the police just chilling in a tunnel for a couple of months, and then Bane just dying from a deux ex machina style motorcycle.
he's just a sad, pathetic little man. Leave him be, and let the people with functioning brains enjoy this piece of art that Nolan created for us all :D
This film gets hated on by a generation of morons who can't appreciate real pacing or great cinematography. Seriously . . . I feel like if you showed the same people who hate on this movie, The Godfather, they'd probably dislike that movie too. TDKR has a more traditional style, and a less conventional story (in that the bad guys win two thirds into the picture) - it feels like a proper dramatic opera. And I just know there are tons of idiots out there who can't appreciate nuance because their reference levels begin and end with Michael Bay films & dumb action films. That's one end of the spectrum, the other end are the anal retentive nerds who nitpick everything. Who can't overlook a few flaws. Who just wanted TDK again. The same film. Tonally. Pacing-wise. You know exactly the type I'm referring to, bearded 35+ big gulp drinkers, comic book guy from the Simpsons. Those guys.
Most people just bring up the plotholes and don't actually say in detail anything else about the movie that they thought was bad. And sure maybe they made the story feel a bit rushed but the movie itself is great enough to where those things just don't matter.
Darth Sandwich I guarantee I will not do that, and even if I was on his side I would call him out on his bullshit counter-argument. You can just condense it if you want, you don't need to write an essay.
@106959302225431933429 I judge films on their own merits and don't like stuff soley just because it's made by the same person. Nolan has massive fanboys I get it, go to imdb or metacritic, a ton of his stuff is definitely overrated, great films, but I'm not one of these people that would rate his films at the best films ever made, while having only seen about 50 other hollywood only movies, or any crap like that, but he's a great filmmaker and he has made some great moviea, the TDKR is definitely a very good picture.
+DeanKnight333 The Dark Knight's my favorite because of Ledger, but even then it's really close, The Dark Knight Rises is my least favorite, but I still love it.
It's definitely my favourite, but after rewatching them this weekend I can say that its sequels surpassed it. People's favourite is The Dark Knight, but Rises is the best.
I love all of them but not only is The Dark Knight Rises my favorite in the trilogy, it is one of my favorite movies of ALL TIME!!! Yes it has mistakes but it is common for masterpiece movies to have flaws!!! Again Jeremy thank you for sayin just about everything that Im thinking in regards to film and I salute you for what most of us cant say! In regards to the new Batman I will NEVER accept who they picked for the role and I will NEVER WATCH IT!!! Christian Bale forever Batman ends here.
I still dont get why people shit about this movie. There is no way a super hero movie will be better than the dark knight. It has been 8 years and it still stand as the greatest super hero movie of all time. The dark knight rises may not be second, but its still an awesome movie.
When I watched this in the cinema, I walked out thankful that I was still alive, but also pumped for the third movie - Y'see I didn't realise that Batman Begins existed, but I knew it was a trilogy, and I was still waiting to find out how he survived the explosion.
Batman (1966): Good time, no alcohol required Batman (1989): Worth buying on blu ray Batman Returns: Worth buying on blu ray Batman Forever: Good time...If you're drunk Batman & Robin: Dogshit Batman Begins: Awesometacular The Dark Knight: Awesometacula The Dark Knight Rises: Awesometacular Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: Good time if you're drunk
This is my favourite of the trilogy thanks to the fact the way Christopher Nolan narrated the intricate story & the way Batman made his comeback & redeemed himself (in the city's eyes) after the horror he had to endure by the end of The Dark knight.
"The epic he gives us vastly outweighs the artistic license. So if you're a comic book fanatic who can just put that aside and enjoy The Dark Knight Rises as a movie, I promise you, you will probably enjoy it." I have never heard wiser words. I also think this applies to the entire TDK trilogy. Anytime I see a purist who doesn't like these films for "not being true to the comics" I feel like harpooning their intestines.
Just watched the complete trilogy, here's my opinions: Batman Begins - 8.9/10 The Dark Knight - 9.5/10 The Dark Knight Rises - 9.7/10 Really enjoyed all of these movies!
I watched the trilogy for the first time over Christmas, because I avoided it because I thought the ‘superhero’ stuff was a bit corny. I will happily admit I sobbed like a baby at 26, some of the best films I’ve watched in years
Sherhan Mahmud That would be Lord of the Rings (: #1.The Lord of the Rings #2.The Dark Knight #3.Star Wars I also love the corneto trilogy, that would be #4.
Sherhan Mahmud its basically a tied for me between LOTR and TDK, I am haed over heels in love with those trilogies. It could have been a 3 way tie if I had liked Return of the Jedi a little more.
I really like how Nolan gave each movie specific color and lighting pallets to distinguish each movie. Batman Begins: A lot of nighttime stuff, color pallet kind of yellow and orange based Dark knight: mix of both night and day with a mix of yellow and other colors Dark knight rises: almost completely in the light, and colors are all lighter with natural colors taking up most of the pallet
I was actually able to rewatch this movie on a bus during my senior trip after one of my friends bought it at a nearby store. Usually, you can't do that because PG-13 movies are "so bad for the poor children" even though we're all 15-18 years old. Anyway, Jeremy is totally right. This movie is amazing. I dunno if I prefer Dark Knight over DKR; they're both equally good in my eyes. But they're definitely better than Batman Begins. Not a bad movie, but it did have some bad action
It's only the BvS fanboys, which is stupid. 1) That movie sucked (Even though I love Affleck's Batman) 2) Why can't we just like Batman? I mean, Nolan's movies are my favorite, but I still think anyone who says Burton's movies suck has no taste.
***** You're not technically a fanboy if you admit the movie definitely had its share of problems (hi there). And Batman 89 is a pretty good film. Returns however is a gothic mess with very poor characterization and more disjointed plot than BvS
When i think about the Dark Knight Trilogy i can't really pick my favourite, because i simply dont consider it as seperate movies. These movies are three parts of one whole. The first one starts the story laying foundations for future movies, the second one don't really need to set up anything because the stage is already set, we can simply enjoy the story, while the last one is epic conclusion ending all the plots and the story itself. That's how trilogy works.
i dont like the reason for Batmans retiring and also the time intervals could hav been done better, i wasnt sure how much time had past through each time skip... i thought Batman got back to gotham in like a few days but it was a month or something
People that hate this Bane say "Ugggggggggggghhhhhhh! He's so untrue to the comics!" WRONG! His personality is actually closer to the Knightfall Comic than an other Batman movies and comics today. He's smart and powerful even without a drug that makes him stronger. Yes, he doesn't have venom. But that should mean he's more powerful because he can do all the stuff comic Bane can WITHOUT the venom?! Tom Hardy portrays Bane in a darker and much more menacing way than in the comics which held me onto the edge of my seat. And I could understand him through out the movie. He's not bad as a character. And I don't care about the plot holes (because EVERY movie has plot holes) and there is less Batman. The Dark Knight Rises is like Mass Effect 3, despite it's problems its a good movie. Not the best but good enough for me to love the film!
The Dark Knight's better than The Dark Knight Rises but that doesn't make the latter a bad movie. The Dark Knight is a masterpiece so Christopher Nolan was never going to top it without Heath Ledger and probably wouldn't have done so even if Ledger was still alive. The Dark Knight Rises still wraps up the trilogy in a satisfying way and, thank God, Nolan never allowed anybody to take control of his project and screw it up. The Dark Knight Rises is the end and none of the Hollywood hacks can screw around with it unless Nolan gives them permission, which he won't do because he's an artist.
The Dark Knight stands as my all time favorite movie but this one also was super super great I mean Oh My God this is so good C.Nolan the best director ever
I agree. I thought the movie was great. I hate how people keep shitting on it. Maybe it's not as good as The Dark Knight, but as an individual movie, it's very good.
This is a banana-approved rating: Batman Begins 9.5/10 The Dark Knight 10/10 The Dark Knight Rises: 7.5/10 -Batman begins is the best origin-story-movie to a hero i have ever seen, that's why it gets a near perfect rating. It saved batman and it is awesome, it has a great cast and there are no major flaws to it. Yes, it had some plotholes (like that everyone who has cooked pasta in that time period should have gone crazy because of the steam) but those are flaws that you notice after watching the movie, not while you are sitting in the cinema, so it was fine. -The Dark Knight does NOT get a perfect rating because it has no flaws, it gets a 10/10 because there was so much greatness in this movie that it managed to completely detract me from the little flaws it had, leaving me with an incredibly immersive experience. -The Dark Knight Rises gets an 7.5/10 because all the great, awesome things about the movie could not detract from the flaws. I watched it at the cinema, i was fucking pumped for this movie and still there were many "WTF" moments where i just couldn't be immersed in any way because of how stupid those things were. Those things really bothered me while watching it for the first time in a cinema, that shouldn't happen. An example: "So we are pretty sure that there are some bad people in the sewers? Lets send every single police officer this town has in there!" And the atom bomb thing, the magical knee-thing, Bruce Wayne getting back to Gotham City incredibly fast and entering the city unnoticed somehow.... And one thing i can't really remember, did the movie explain how he got his Batsuit when he got to Gotham? Over all it's a great and festive pie with a little pile of shit on top of it.
Lord of Banana bro i think your too harsh on Rises! okay the police officers firstly gordon says get every available officer and they are police that are left they are just out numbered by Bane inmates so can't act, Secondly it makes sense to mobilize that many men, you see when bane detonates the charges how huge the sewers system is, so to securely search all that area you would need a large force, Also think about it from Gordon's position he was the first to see bane and understands that he is very dangerous, so as i show of strength the large police presence is justified the "magical" knee thing. seriously, imagine they financial and technological resources batman has at his disposal, it is just like an exo-suit for his knee, this isn't even fiction, the military today have currently developed a prototype exo-suit that would give a man super human strength and endurance, if the knee brace is a problem then the mechanized bat suit in Batman Vs superman is also a problem! should we be surprised that batman the greatest Tactical mind in the DC universe found a method to solve that problem And the bomb is just a fusion reactor, that a scientist turned into a bomb, which has literally already happened!! not exactly in the same way but you get the premise, Dr pavel represents the Manhattan project, the time limit also could be calculated by knowing the rate of decay, as a weapon of mass destruction i think its pretty solid and realistic the suit he got when he went to the secondary Bat cave with fox, we see a suit in it in the dark knight when alfred is telling him about the bandit in the forest bro it is so easy to forget batman was a member of the league of shadows, and is a ninja trained in the art of stealth i think it is conceivable that he made it through the city undetected, and don't forget its his home Finally the reason batman is one of the most powerful superheroes in the DC universe is not because he has super strength or any thing like that, it is because tactically and strategically he is superior, if you give batman enough time they aren't many situations he can't get out of, Batman has six months in the prison Rehabbing and planning i think it is conceivable that he got to gotham quickly, Secondly he got to gotham a day before the bomb explodes that isn't very quick and we don't know how long it took him, its not like we know he left the prison two days before, all we know is that he made the jump and travelled back to gotham the thing is sometimes we lose sight of the fact that it is an on screen portrayal of a comic, and pick at such small aspects (sign of a good movie that those are the main issues), when in truth the whole story of winged, billionaire, vigilante is more unlikely than all of the above mentioned issue, BUT I think everything else you said in 100%
to be honest, IMO I didn't like Catwoman, found no reason why she was even in the movie. The plot was very weak, I did not like the voice thing that they did with Bane, the whole part were they break Batman's back is stupid (how he gets to walk again), I don't know it just felt half assed. This is why I hate trilogies, I think this movie should have ended with the 2nd film, but no its Batman 3: The endless quest for mo'money. Dont get me wrong is not a horrible movie but its not as great as ppl say it is, you know...
I'm a comic book fan and bane is my second favorite to the joker of course but man he was soooooo fucking kill in this movie. The whole non luchador thing works because I mean come on a killer wrestler sounds like a bad b horror movie which it actually is anyway I'm a big bane fan and I loved how the "venom" made him numb to pain instead of unrealistically juggernaut big. My favorite of the trilogy
Comic fans don't like Nolan Bane much .. Why ? Because in comics he is fast , strong and agile fighter . In here , he's just a pawn who kills/defeats most opponents with one hit
Bane had been a henchman before so I don't get why people don't they actually made him tougher in the movie because if you recall he only beat batman in knight fall because batman was sick and weak when batman got better he beat bane in like 30 seconds
videodownloader100 He's been a pawn in most of the other comics though, wasn't here? (note I never read any of the batman comics, so I'm just curious.)
In his debut , he wasn't .., He was shown as a man better than Batman . He spent his life in prison along with murderers and rapists . The bird told him about the Batman .. That's why Bane went to confront him , to see who is better .
Anne Hathaway has said that she desperately coveted the role of Catwoman, and was a complete nervous wreck after her audition. The first time her agent phoned after her screentest, he said he had good news and asked if Hathaway was sitting down. Hathaway immediately screamed "I'm Catwoman!" and ran around the room in a frenzy. Unfortunately, her agent had to calm Hathaway down. He had called to let her know that she'd been invited to host the Academy Awards. Hathaway has said she was so shocked she went numb at the offer. Fortunately, shortly thereafter, her agent phoned again to let her know that she had been offered the part of Catwoman as well.
Thank you JJ finally someone fairly reviewing TDKR. I loved it so much and for a while I thought I was the only one. PS: The best part about Chris Nolan is the surprises and twists in his movies.
I've never understood the hate for this film. I thought Bane was fucking perfect, especially his voice. Made me think of Vader. I thought he was a better villain, if not a better character, than Ledger's Joker. Subscribed, sir.
The eternal "yeah you don't like it because its not like in your comics, get over it, geek" argument.... Bane's plan is'nt realistic or logic AT ALL ! What, turn Gotham's people against their own authorities when all you want anyway is just to blow the city ? ... You have the bomb, blow the damn city ! Don't go all Che Guevara and make a speech about Harvey Dent and Gordon's letter (people in the streets actually KNOW the name of their Commissionner ? So much for realism....) And also, he gets ridiculously killed by Catwoman and, after the whole "no guns, no killing", Batman is like "all right, im good!" I know he's got an emergency but, he lets her kiss him after that ? The Batman in the Long Halloween dodges like three or four kisses from Catwoman because he does'nt trust her and does'nt like her methods. Bane was pretty cool but ended up being one of the lamest characters in TDK trilogy.
Bane says in the movie why he doesn't blow it up right away, He wants to torture Bruce. As for for Banes ridiculous death, At least he didn't get smashed into the ground a million times and get called puny. You really think Batman's gonna give the woman who saved his life a hard time when theres a ticking bomb? Well he trusts her here because shes justified his faith in her. Bane was a hell of alot less lame than Arkham Games Bane.
Spencer Malley Yep but to watch his city explode while he's away and powerless would be the ultimate torture for Bruce. He says himself his affraid his city burns. Welle that's exactly what would have happened if Bane pulled the damn trigger. And Bruce would have been haunted by the sight of Gotham vanishing fro the rest of his life. He would have been definitely broken and probably would'nt have tried to escape anymore. Okay, Bane gets a little old after his first appearance in the comics/games and i agree the Arkham one has no personality. Still, his death could have been more epic. Or he could have been physically and mentally broken for the rest of his days, like he wanted to do to Bruce. That's kind of what happens in the comics also. "You really think Batman's gonna give the woman who saved his life a hard time when theres a ticking bomb?" Well....YEAH ! He will ! He's is'nt gonna arguing with her because he has more pressing business but, he sure would avoid the kiss, drop a little "i said no guns" and walk to his plane to carry the bomb. That's the kind of stubborn asshole Batman is ! He even bitches against his allies... especially his allies !
BatPierrot Not blowing up Gotham right away wasn't a smart choice in hindsight but drawing it out to slowly torture bruce an gotham is completely understandable to me. What exactly has been Banes most "epic defeat"? She kissed him, I don't think Batman would begrudge her for saving his life, in the comics he still told her he love her after she had shot and killed Black Mask.
In the comics, he also knows her from at least a decade. But yeah anyway i realized it was Nolan's Batman and the no-killing-thing is kinda different in those movies so, that's not my biggest problem. I woudl say my favorite Bane's defeat is in Batman TAS when they fight to the death and Batman plugs him to the Bat-Signal and he gets electrified. But the Knightfall one with JP Valley is nice, and the Arkham one also even the character on himself sucks in it. The final fight in Rises is nice. Just too short and the death is a letdown. Kind of half of the story. Trying to much to redo what they did in TDK
Batman (1989) 9.0/10 Batman Returns (1992) 9.3/10 Batman Forever (1995) 5.0/10 Batman & Robin (1997) 2.2/10 Batman Begins (2005) 9.5/10 The Dark Knight (2008) 10/10 The Dark Knight Rises (2012) 9.8/10 Batman vs Superman (2016) 7.5/10
TDKR is well acted, has good action scenes, Bane was really cool and a fantastic climax. But the story is weak and makes no sense at times. I hated that stupid thing they did with Alfred with this one. It just didn't make sense. It's no terrible movie but it keeps getting weaker and weaker the more I see it.
Glad you pointed out the Anne Hathaway character. Most surprising thing about the movie definitely. The times where she switched from Selina to the helpless victim and vice versa within seconds was some incredible acting. Just with her facial expressions and tone of voice she was like two different characters. I also believe she's the best catwoman, she came across as smart and manipulative instead of slutty and then using her sluttiness to manipulate . Such a great movie, people hate on it cause it wasn't the second movie.. but the second movie was already made so they need to chill. If you consider the second one flawless then they cannot do another flawless movie unless they redo the second one piece by piece.
Why do people hate this movie so much it's not as good as dark knight but it gave us a memorable villain great cinematography good plot and a satisfying conclusion
The Dark Knight Trilogy in my opinion is the best Triligy ever! Christopher Nolan is an absolute Legend. My favourite is The Dark knight, in my opinion the greatest movie ever! Christopher Nolan = Awesometacular!
without a doubt, TDK trilogy is the best trilogy out there. better than LOTR, better than Star Wars, better than Iron Man, better than Raimi's Spider-man and better than indiana jones!
+Red Hood Thank you someone who agrees with me. Lord of the Rings to me is extremely overrated. Still great, but overrated, this is my favourite movie trilogy of all time
Batman Begins - 10/10. The Dark Knight - 10/10. The Dark Knight Rises - 10/10. Best Superhero Trilogy of all time: FACT! One of the best trilogies of all time. My favorite film was TDKR. :)
I love how the entire trilogy slowly introduces the shitshow that Gotham is about to experience by time Bane steps on the scene in TDKR Batman Begins: Ra's Al Ghul is just softening up the city for an epic meltdown, while his actions have caused city officials to literally write off a section of the city due to the escaped convicts ("The Narrows is lost....") The Dark Knight: Joker constantly creates even MORE instability and panic ("When the chips are down... these so called normal people... they'll eat each other") The Dark Knight Rises: Bane cuts the brakes off of these speeding car and tells Gothamites to rip the rich out of their homes and toss them into the cold. The "normal people" tear their own city apart and finally break down the social order of Gotham. The whole series was done so well, and all the movies work well together. What an amazing trilogy.
Ra'as Al Ghul - tested batman's morals
Scarecrow - tested batman's fear
Joker - tested batman's mind
Bane - tested batman's strength
Talia - tested batman's dick
+JOHN BOKO SHOW News flash you're the only one in the world who thinks that.
+JOHN BOKO SHOW - Is that the only swearing words u know u dumb fuck
+JOHN BOKO SHOW there's the other ones.
I'm sure she tasted it too. Lol.
What about two face
In my opinion, The Dark Knight Trilogy is one of the best trilogies every made, along with the original Star Wars trilogy and the Lord of the Rings trilogy
So far it's pretty much the best superhero trilogy ever
Have you watched the Captain America triology? That's better than the Dark Knight triology
Trishala punjabi Not as a whole. First Avenger really weakens the Cap "trilogy"
+Trishala punjabi No. Just... NO. You're fired. And I love the Captain America movies, but NO.
+Alex ghz I need a month's notice
Batman Begins: Awesometacular
The Dark Knight: Awesometacular
The Dark Knight Rises: Awesometacular
+JOHN BOKO SHOW Sorry for being a fan of quality entertainment 😐
Fuck you dickbag
JOHN BOKO SHOW So butthurt. Lmao
Supermovies batman and robin
AWESOMETACULAR
3 very boring movies... Still watched them in theater though.
My rankings of the trilogy:
1. Fuck
2. The
3. Ratings
I don't care which movie's better than which, they're all masterpieces.
This 👌
Come on, man. The Dark Knight isn't a 'The' clearly it deserves a Fuck..I mean come on...
Ben McLendon
Ben McLendon That's the spirit baby...
Ben McLendon well said my guy
Batman Begins- 9/10
The Dark Knight- 10/10
The Dark Knight Rises- 9/10
The Dark Knight is definitely the best, but The Dark Knight Rises is my favorite
EDIT: After 4 years of watching them for 100 more times lmao. Rises is now my least favorite. (Still a 9)
NaughtyWizard01 exactly!!!!!!!!!!!
+NaughtyWizard01 my favorite is begins, then dark knight then rises
This is probably what I'd say depending on my mood
+NaughtyWizard01 Why does Batman Begins only got a 8 out of 10? It's better than TDKR, not way better, but definitely better.
+NaughtyWizard01 i feel the same way bro!
To all who cry about plot holes:
Nolan did not want to waste time with showing Wayne travel to Gotham after climbing the pit.
@dannycooper6363 It's only when the plot holes ar every glaring but here people just overreact.
The amount of people that think this movie is at least 8 and above completely baffles me. Like did you guys watch it with your eyes and ears sewn shut? This is a 3/10 on a good day.
Dark knight rises is my personal favorite of the trilogy
Synonymous here mate ✌
Me too
I prefer Batman Begins but I love rises and if you think it’s the best of the trilogy you can’t go wrong with that
All three movies are awesome hahaha
Dark knight
Batman - Awesometacular
Batman Returns - Worth buying on Blu Ray
Batman Forever - Good time if you're drunk
Batman & Robin - Dogshit
Batman Begins - Awesometacular
The Dark Knight - Super Awesometacular
The Dark Knight Rises - Awesometacular
This is perfect list
Nop, Dark Knight Rises: Good time if you're drunk
Arnesh Sengupta For you maybe
For most people who are cinematically literate, actually.
Arnesh Sengupta Im aware of the plot holes, i still love the movie tho
Christopher Nolan I fucking love you
Gresh854 fight club 100
Jotpreet Singh I agree
Gresh854 I second this.
Waleed Khan
Gresh854 I would say DKR 8/10. It is good and fun, but not as good as the other.
Why does this film get so much hate, I liked this Bane better than the one in Batman and Robin.
MorevarTheKronoPixel
lol that's true
'BOMBS, BOMBS, BOMBS.'
CornishCreamtea07 me too man this film is awesome
The Dark Knight Trilogy is by far the best Comic Book Movie trilogy to date.
Agreed. The Sam Rami Spider-Man trilogy was cool too but 3 fucked it up.
+The Mad Titan Yes it does I made a comic book about it I can send you screenshots its 420 pages long.
+KingOfDribble HAVEING BATMAN IN IT DOESNT MAKE IT A COMIC BOOK MOVIE.SORRY IT WAS ONE OF THE WROST BUT A MASTERPIECE TRILOGY EXCEPT THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS THAT MOVIE SUCKED
+Kako Mohammed CAPS LOCK DONT GET YOUR POINT ACROSS. Also, did you just say that the Dark Knight sucked?
KingOfDribble i said the dark knight rises sucked big time
I guess Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy is... AwesomeTricular
so whats changed over 6 years?
I don't appreciate the way bane died. That is all.
Emilie Rose Yeah he just got blasted off the frame!
+Emilie Rose Bane's dead! Or is he...
Yeah, but the bomb was about to explode, what would be more logical? For Batman to waste time and fight Bane and Bane have an epic death and the bomb explodes and everybody dies? Or Bane get killed like that and everybody lives?
+Hal Jordan "Death does not wait for you to be ready."
+Dawn Granger Am I the only one who's reaction wasn't "How could they do that to Bane" but rather "Catwoman is awesome"?
I loved this movie because I wasn't hoping this to be better than The Dark Knight, but rather a satisfying conclusion to this awesome trilogy.
I Think they hate it because they don't want it to end(i sure as hell don't)i loved this movie, but i wanna see part 4,but i guess i can only dream!
Yeah the plot hole thing is just stupid. If they would've answered for all of them, the movie would be so much longer
***** Nope
Batman Begins 9/10
Dark Knight 10/10
Dark Knight Rises 10/10
Conor Beggs Not even close...
***** its quite close
Conor Beggs Batman Begins: 7/10
The Dark Knight: 8.5/10
The Dark Knight Rises: 6/10
Knight Artorias naaaaah
Conor Beggs
BB 8.5/10
DK 10/10
DKR 8/10
Batman Begins = Star Wars - One of the first blockbusters of its type, a great movie and a breath of fresh air. Told a familiar kind of story in a new way. Total game-changer. 9/10
The Dark Knight = The Empire Strikes Back - Even better than the first. Darker, more dramatic, great character development, the stakes are higher and the villain is more compelling. Ends on a down note with the hope that things will get better. One of the most celebrated movies of its era. 10/10
The Dark Knight Rises = Return of the Jedi - Weakest of the three but still very good. 7.5/10
Why does ROTJ get so much shit? The only truly bad element of the film are the Ewoks, and even they aren't enough for the film to drop below 9.
+Michael Fraser it has a lot of pacing issues compared to the first two. Also making Luke and Leia siblings was a really stupid writing decision IMO.
+Michael Fraser return of the Jedi gets so much shit because is very mediocre compared the first two
+Michael Fraser The original was the weakest out of the 3. I agree with you completely. The struggle Luke faces between joining his father and giving into his anger by joining the dark side or staying with the light is one of the greatest set of scenes in cinema and all around one of the greatest arcs in storytelling.
a new hope is the weakest in my opinion
nahhhh I still can't get over the end of jots
To compare Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy to other superhero movies is like comparing apples to oranges.
Thumbs up if you think Anne Hatway is the best Catwoman
+JOHN BOKO SHOW Damn, are you trolling?
No, because I like Anne Hatheway's Catwoman
Whoever voiced her in Arkham City.
and i think youre gay then
I think she is the best live action catwoman
1. The Dark Knight
2. Batman Begins
3. The Dark Knight Rises
4. Batman
5.
6.
7.
That's it, no other live action Batman movies exist.
Err, yes there are. Batman Forever, Batman and Robin are 2 that come to mind...
Ross McDonald I guess you didn't get the joke, and also there should be another one that comes to mind.
Well, I've just made myself look like an idiot. Whats the other movie that comes to mind though?
Ross McDonald Batman Returns, even though it feels absolutely nothing like a Batman movie.
tyspyranger Honestly I have never heard of that, lemme look it up
I loved it when Catwoman used the dead mobster's hand and gun to shoot someone, and did an emotional 180 and started screaming and crying to fool the cops.
Batman Begins 8.5/10 The Dark Knight 10/10 The Dark Knight Rises 9/10 in my opinion
"The Dark knight" 9.8/10 ; "Batman:Begins" 9.2/10 ; "The Dark knight Rises" 8/10 .
Batman Begins 9/10 The Dark Knight 9.9/10 The Dark Knight Rises 9.1/10
imo:
Batman Begins: 10,000,000/10
The Dark Knight: 1,000,000,000,000,000,000/10
The Dark Knight Rises: 500,000/10
Ever.
yeah i agree
dude I was thinking the same thing
I have my doubts if it would be a trilogy. The contours given by Nolan, show that the story could be independent, after the protests of Wall Street. It was more like a version of the French revolution where Bane led veterans and homeless people against the establishment .... A conflict with some communist revolutionary bias, selling the idea that Bruce as a millionaire was the cause of the social differences that caused crime and corruption in his city. But I doubt Hollywood would allow such controversy and ambiguity for a Movie produced in US... So... Find a way to patch it, and make the studio very happy...
Tanglepelt Rises is my favorite of the 3
Batman Begins 10.5
The Dark Knight 10.5
The Dark Knight Rises 10.5
And a big bow to Mr. Nolan for creating such awesometacularness. One of the best trilogies ever!!!
I fell like the dark knight is a 1000000/10
Viscoselight23 When I watch that movie I think the same.
But I also have the feeling when I watch the other two. :)
+RP true they are all amazing
Batman Begins: 10,000,000/10
The Dark Knight: 1,000,000,000,000,000,000/10
The Dark Knight Rises: 500,000/10
All these movies are great. I wonder if Joel Schumacher watches these movies and goes GOD I FUCKED UP
this was my favourite one and i think the best one, then it was the dark knight, then batman begins unlike many sequel movies they get better and better
eh disagreed. sorry.
dont be sorry for having an opinion mate! :)
Yeah you're truly right! it was a good movie but I think The Dark Knight was just a crazy masterpiece.
Been 11 years since this review went up and 15 years since Dark Knight was released.
These films are timeless!
just saw it again recently. this movie has gotten even better over the years somehow
I think you're taste got better over the years
@@HILAL19564 The movie is full of plot holes
It truly has
I went in thinking it would be bad because of all the people moaning about it, but I enjoyed it a lot. I don't know what people are going on about. The movie is fantastic.
I know you posted this a month ago, watch it again. The plot holes alone...dear God.
+Wade Wilson (Deadpool) And Daniel was never heard from again...
You know, I honestly can't pick one above the others. I love them all so much!
The fuck is your problem? You are just going around the comment section shitting on everyone single persons opinion.
he's just a sad, pathetic little man. Leave him be, and let the people with functioning brains enjoy this piece of art that Nolan created for us all :D
Yes :)
I like Guardians of the Galaxy, but I felt way more satisfied after watching TDKR than I did that movie
Darth Sandwich Buzzwords aren't arguments. Don't claim things if you're not going to back it up, because that's incredibly lazy.
It is a damn fine trilogy.
Batman begins is the best of the three films.
Agreed.
anyone who thinks batman begins is the best of the three scares me
+lesryglrhfohser Boo!
Batman (1966): Good time, no alcohol required
Batman (1989): Worth buying on blu ray
Batman Returns: Worth buying on blu ray
Batman Forever: Good time...If you're drunk
Batman & Robin: Dogshit
Batman Begins: Awesometacular
The Dark Knight: Awesometacula
The Dark Knight Rises: Awesometacular
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: Good time if you're drunk
This is my favourite of the trilogy thanks to the fact the way Christopher Nolan narrated the intricate story & the way Batman made his comeback & redeemed himself (in the city's eyes) after the horror he had to endure by the end of The Dark knight.
Those who say there are plot holes...NOOO just no
All movies have plot holes. It's just a fact
All movies do, this movie is just more mature and sensible compared to other cringey superhero movies
"The epic he gives us vastly outweighs the artistic license. So if you're a comic book fanatic who can just put that aside and enjoy The Dark Knight Rises as a movie, I promise you, you will probably enjoy it."
I have never heard wiser words. I also think this applies to the entire TDK trilogy. Anytime I see a purist who doesn't like these films for "not being true to the comics" I feel like harpooning their intestines.
Batman begins awesometacler
the dark knight awesometacler
the dark knight rises awesometacler
If Bruce could travel the world with no money and little resources in Batman Begins, I don't see any reason why he couldn't in The Dark Knight Rises.
Just watched the complete trilogy, here's my opinions:
Batman Begins - 8.9/10
The Dark Knight - 9.5/10
The Dark Knight Rises - 9.7/10
Really enjoyed all of these movies!
the alfred grave scene even made me tear up
I watched the trilogy for the first time over Christmas, because I avoided it because I thought the ‘superhero’ stuff was a bit corny. I will happily admit I sobbed like a baby at 26, some of the best films I’ve watched in years
Best trilogy ever hands down...
Sherhan Mahmud That would be Lord of the Rings (:
#1.The Lord of the Rings
#2.The Dark Knight
#3.Star Wars
I also love the corneto trilogy, that would be #4.
+Michael Colby almost the same!
Except for me its
#1 TDK
#2 LOTR
#3 SW
Sherhan Mahmud its basically a tied for me between LOTR and TDK, I am haed over heels in love with those trilogies. It could have been a 3 way tie if I had liked Return of the Jedi a little more.
Michael Colby omg I love the Cornetto trilogy! I have the white Blu-ray case
Sherhan Mahmud its going to be my next blu ray purchase. although the worlds end is not as good as the first. Kind of like Star Wars IMO
I really like how Nolan gave each movie specific color and lighting pallets to distinguish each movie.
Batman Begins: A lot of nighttime stuff, color pallet kind of yellow and orange based
Dark knight: mix of both night and day with a mix of yellow and other colors
Dark knight rises: almost completely in the light, and colors are all lighter with natural colors taking up most of the pallet
TDKR.. It just draws u in to watch it even more!
"My god -- I am wearing hockey pads!" Best Dark Knight quote reference ever
I was actually able to rewatch this movie on a bus during my senior trip after one of my friends bought it at a nearby store. Usually, you can't do that because PG-13 movies are "so bad for the poor children" even though we're all 15-18 years old. Anyway, Jeremy is totally right. This movie is amazing. I dunno if I prefer Dark Knight over DKR; they're both equally good in my eyes. But they're definitely better than Batman Begins. Not a bad movie, but it did have some bad action
Amazing trilogy. And yet nowadays people do nothing but hate on it.
Remember those days when it was the Burton films getting that treatment?
+Ben Wasserman And people say Tim Burton made better Batman movies than Christopher Nolan... Lmao.
It's only the Zack Snyder/BvS fanboys that hate on this amazing trilogy. I doubt that film will even come close to these.
+Miroslav Gnjatovic It didn't, it was mediocre to okay, not nearly as good as any movie of the TDK trilogy.
It's only the BvS fanboys, which is stupid. 1) That movie sucked (Even though I love Affleck's Batman)
2) Why can't we just like Batman? I mean, Nolan's movies are my favorite, but I still think anyone who says Burton's movies suck has no taste.
***** You're not technically a fanboy if you admit the movie definitely had its share of problems (hi there). And Batman 89 is a pretty good film. Returns however is a gothic mess with very poor characterization and more disjointed plot than BvS
1:36 "My Ghhawd... I AM wearin' hockey paaahhds!" I fucking died
The real batman could take down this version of bane in 30 seconds
When i think about the Dark Knight Trilogy i can't really pick my favourite, because i simply dont consider it as seperate movies. These movies are three parts of one whole. The first one starts the story laying foundations for future movies, the second one don't really need to set up anything because the stage is already set, we can simply enjoy the story, while the last one is epic conclusion ending all the plots and the story itself. That's how trilogy works.
I AM WEARING HOCKEY PAAAAAAAAAANTS. Lmfao classic Jeremy
Batman Begins- 10/10
The Dark Knight - 10/10
The Dark Knight Rises - 10/10
my favorite is the dark knght. rest in peace heath ledger
i dont like the reason for Batmans retiring and also the time intervals could hav been done better, i wasnt sure how much time had past through each time skip... i thought Batman got back to gotham in like a few days but it was a month or something
Probably my favorite jeremy jahns review ever
The Dark Knight Rises was my favorite movie of 2012. It's an amazing, awsometacular film!
People who hate this movie just say that bcoz some people has said that.
My first Jeremy Jahns review. You've changed so much and improved so much.
Batman- B-
Batman Returns- C
Batman Forever- D+
Batman & Robin- F-
Batman Begins- B+
The Dark Knight- A+
Dark Knight Rises- A-
Batman V Superman- B
I agree except i'd give BvS a C
+Danish Guy agreed
***** I have a hard time accepting that, but I guess I have to..
+theDNgamer seriously?
Batman and Robin a F- ? more like a Z - -
The Dark Knight's better than The Dark Knight Rises but that doesn't make the latter a bad movie.
This is a banana-approved rating:
Batman Begins 9.5/10
The Dark Knight 10/10
The Dark Knight Rises: 7.5/10
-Batman begins is the best origin-story-movie to a hero i have ever seen, that's why it gets a near perfect rating.
Approved by the Banana.
Lord of Banana bro i think your too harsh on Rises! okay the police officers firstly gordon says get every available officer and they are police that are left they are just out numbered by Bane inmates so can't act, Secondly it makes sense to mobilize that many men, you see when bane detonates the charges how huge the sewers system is, so to securely search all that area you would need a large force, Also think about it from Gordon's position he was the first to see bane and understands that he is very dangerous, so as i show of strength the large police presence is justified
the "magical" knee thing. seriously, imagine they financial and technological resources batman has at his disposal, it is just like an exo-suit for his knee, this isn't even fiction, the military today have currently developed a prototype exo-suit that would give a man super human strength and endurance, if the knee brace is a problem then the mechanized bat suit in Batman Vs superman is also a problem! should we be surprised that batman the greatest Tactical mind in the DC universe found a method to solve that problem
And the bomb is just a fusion reactor, that a scientist turned into a bomb, which has literally already happened!! not exactly in the same way but you get the premise, Dr pavel represents the Manhattan project, the time limit also could be calculated by knowing the rate of decay, as a weapon of mass destruction i think its pretty solid and realistic
the suit he got when he went to the secondary Bat cave with fox, we see a suit in it in the dark knight when alfred is telling him about the bandit in the forest
bro it is so easy to forget batman was a member of the league of shadows, and is a ninja trained in the art of stealth i think it is conceivable that he made it through the city undetected, and don't forget its his home
Finally the reason batman is one of the most powerful superheroes in the DC universe is not because he has super strength or any thing like that, it is because tactically and strategically he is superior, if you give batman enough time they aren't many situations he can't get out of, Batman has six months in the prison Rehabbing and planning i think it is conceivable that he got to gotham quickly, Secondly he got to gotham a day before the bomb explodes that isn't very quick and we don't know how long it took him, its not like we know he left the prison two days before, all we know is that he made the jump and travelled back to gotham
the thing is sometimes we lose sight of the fact that it is an on screen portrayal of a comic, and pick at such small aspects (sign of a good movie that those are the main issues), when in truth the whole story of winged, billionaire, vigilante is more unlikely than all of the above mentioned issue, BUT I think everything else you said in 100%
+Lord of Banana Wow 10/10?
Can’t get enough of this film
to be honest, IMO I didn't like Catwoman, found no reason why she was even in the movie.
Thats how the cookie crumbles man.
I totally agree bro.
That's why Bane went to confront him , to see who is better .
videodownloader100 Well I can understand in his debut. How about afterwards?
Thank you JJ
finally someone fairly reviewing TDKR.
I loved it so much and for a while I thought I was the only one.
PS: The best part about Chris Nolan is the surprises and twists in his movies.
The Dark Knight is still my favorite in the trilogy. 6 years later and Heath Ledger's role as Joker is still amazing
I've never understood the hate for this film. I thought Bane was fucking perfect, especially his voice. Made me think of Vader. I thought he was a better villain, if not a better character, than Ledger's Joker. Subscribed, sir.
Batman Begins: becoming fear
The Dark Knight: conquering fear
The Dark Knight Rises: embracing fear
The eternal "yeah you don't like it because its not like in your comics, get over it, geek" argument....
Bane's plan is'nt realistic or logic AT ALL ! What, turn Gotham's people against their own authorities when all you want anyway is just to blow the city ? ... You have the bomb, blow the damn city !
Don't go all Che Guevara and make a speech about Harvey Dent and Gordon's letter (people in the streets actually KNOW the name of their Commissionner ? So much for realism....)
And also, he gets ridiculously killed by Catwoman and, after the whole "no guns, no killing", Batman is like "all right, im good!"
I know he's got an emergency but, he lets her kiss him after that ?
Spencer Malley
Yep but to watch his city explode while he's away and powerless would be the ultimate torture for Bruce.
"You really think Batman's gonna give the woman who saved his life a hard time when theres a ticking bomb?"
Well....YEAH !
BatPierrot Batman very conclusively defeated Bane at the end though.
This is one of my favorite Batman movies, along with the Dark Knight.
Batman Begins - 9.5/10
The Dark Knight - 10/10
The Dark Knight Rises - 8.8/10
Batman Begins - 9.0/10
The Dark Knight - 9.5/10
The Dark Knight Rises - 8.0/10
+Delon Luu What's wrong with the Dark Knight Rises?
BMV The Movie Fanatic I love it...nothing problematic though I enjoyed TDK and Batman Begins a bit more
+Delon Luu Those scores are valid. BB was much better than TDKR
Batman Begins: 9/10
The Dark Knight: 6/10
The Dark Knight Rises: 3/10
Amazing your channel hasn’t changed an inch in 8 years...hit that golden format right away
All the 3 films of this trilogy are excellent and compliment each other very well.
I came back to this video because I forgot to click "thumbs up" back in 2012.
I loved this movie. Ann Hathaway delivers the best Catwoman since Julie Newmar.
I’m so old that I remember the *day* this review came out!
Batman (1989) 9.0/10
Batman Returns (1992) 9.3/10
Batman Forever (1995) 5.0/10
Batman & Robin (1997) 2.2/10
Batman Begins (2005) 9.5/10
The Dark Knight (2008) 10/10
The Dark Knight Rises (2012) 9.8/10
Batman vs Superman (2016) 7.5/10
as a comic book fan, i can still say Bane in TDKR is FARRR superior to the comics version
And more realistic
TDKR is well acted, has good action scenes, Bane was really cool and a fantastic climax.
But the story is weak and makes no sense at times. I hated that stupid thing they did with Alfred with this one. It just didn't make sense. It's no terrible movie but it keeps getting weaker and weaker the more I see it.
I'm sorry you feel that way but the good far outweighs the bad.
i totally agree with you! the more i watch it, the more i have problems with it.
I honestly think this is my favorite film out of all The Dark Knight Trilogy
Lol bad choice
Don't not alone you're not alone
Great opinion, perfectly allowed to think so. My favorite too, don’t have to jump on the band wagon like everyone else
Batman Begins: 9/10
The Dark Knight: 10/10
The Dark Knight Rises: 8/10
TDK has better performances, but BB has a better story.
Could not agree more with those scores.

Batman Begins: 9.5/10
The Dark Knight 10000000/10

BB: give it an A
TDK: give it an A+
TDKR: give it an A- (with an A+ ending)
TDKT: all A-s!
TDKR is A too
Tdkt is an overall A
without a doubt, TDK trilogy is the best trilogy out there. better than LOTR, better than Star Wars, better than Iron Man, better than Raimi's Spider-man and better than indiana jones!
+Red Hood Thank you someone who agrees with me. Lord of the Rings to me is extremely overrated. Still great, but overrated, this is my favourite movie trilogy of all time
well!! that is just like your opinion man ! for me the toy story trilogy is way better
JOHN BOKO SHOW umm because its true? duh
Batman Begins - 10/10.
The Dark Knight - 10/10.
The Dark Knight Rises - 10/10.
Best Superhero Trilogy of all time: FACT! One of the best trilogies of all time.
My favorite film was TDKR. :)
I personally love Batman Begins
In my opinion it was the best of the three
Scarecrow vs Ra's
The Greatest Superhero Movie Ever Made.
SPOILERS BELOW: YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
he's Batman.
I love how the entire trilogy slowly introduces the shitshow that Gotham is about to experience by time Bane steps on the scene in TDKR
Batman Begins: Ra's Al Ghul is just softening up the city for an epic meltdown, while his actions have caused city officials to literally write off a section of the city due to the escaped convicts ("The Narrows is lost....")
The Dark Knight: Joker constantly creates even MORE instability and panic ("When the chips are down... these so called normal people... they'll eat each other")
The Dark Knight Rises: Bane cuts the brakes off of these speeding car and tells Gothamites to rip the rich out of their homes and toss them into the cold. The "normal people" tear their own city apart and finally break down the social order of Gotham.
The whole series was done so well, and all the movies work well together. What an amazing trilogy.
3/3 Awesometaculars. Shit I gotta see these movies again.
