This was such a historic video. Not just because the song is classic. The wedding theme. The people. It was at the peak of Southern movement. DJ Paul, Juicy J, Big Gipp, David Banner, Outkast, UGK, T-Pain, Bentley, Chamillionaire, Bishop Magic Juan. It was like country cousins all embracing each other.......that era will never be replicated. And it was encapsulated in this one video.
The man has class!! Not his pants hanging off his azz!! His style is incomparable. He rarely curses yet he still has Respect from the original players. U don't get that anymore
This is the second time UGK and Outkast did a song together. The first song they did together was on the Shaft soundtrack which is a song called “Tough Guy” back in 2000.
I was in the 7th grade when this song dropped and even then I said this song would be timeless. I told my home girl at that time when we get old we still gonna be playing this.
Hearing Andre talm bout I used to listen to ugk when I was in high school… that just confirms to me that in fact Houston DID put the south on Atlanta may have produced more commercially successful rappers but htine/Texas really the blueprint of the south
Pimp c wasn’t feelin mr Bentley poppin his collar. He went straight to talking to bun and gave Bentley his back while Bentley commenced to riding their jocks and telling us we did not deserve to be here while that’s probably what pimp c was thinking about him 😂😂😂
Lived through Mijac, Prince, Biggie, Pac.... Can go on... I have NEVER reached closure with Mr. Chad Butler... Still hurts bad to this day. Thanks for the uploads and many of us need them.
They had invited a ton of people. And their schedules weren't all lined up. From what I remember, Chamillionaire only showed up on the last scene, and he hurried to get to L.A. It's why he's only in the ceremony. Bun was saying they only shot the video because Andre 3k was behind the idea for it, odds are it was mostly likely planned around his schedule. So from the sounds of it, the stars had to align to even have Dre commit to the record, and film a a video for it. The trifecta and Kast, UGK, and Ball and G, would've been perfect. But, we were lucky to have Andre actually commit to it.
Nice to see Andre and Big Boi having fun with each other, from what I heard they were starting to separate around this time. T Pain having the time of his life back there, too!
Pimp Was not feeling that shoot to be honest but They All Came out!! Pimp was different G!!! Bun was so happy...damn... The good times smh. LongLiveDaPimp
As an eastcoast cat I just love how everyone in the south get along & get money together while everyone on the eastcoast & westcoast was beefing with each other & amongst each other. I mean there was a lil beefing going on in the south but Pimp C had put a stop to all that & wanted peace & was able to get everyone in the south who was beefing to squash it & make songs together. I just love the south & me as an eastcoast dude; I hated to the fact people on the east was really hating on the south & I didn't like that because I've been listening to southern rap since the 90s & they really got something to say & they were lyrical. I love UGK, OutKast, 8ball mjg, Master P, Scarface etc..
This is so dope. I learned so much about this classic. I miss these days, before social media, this was the only way to get to know our favorite artists. Classic video and song.
Pimp wasnt fucking with the industry AT ALL. He instantly went for Fonzworth's top calling him queen. He had to keep the video going like he ain't hear it 😂
My guy said "I've been major since I jumped out my T-Jones" That's major swag! Let'em know Bun! I wish 8ball & MJG could've at least made an appearance in the video.
Just to think this was Pimps idea to bring this track back...cause it was about 5 years old when project pat did it. Pimp got outta jail and said "I need that track".

RIP Pimp C. He was sharp in that all white.
He was the golden child
This was such a legendary collaboration, some people just don't understand. Project pat was the original version shout to him also.
Actually Willie Hutch aka The Mack is the original but Pat's version was cold too
@@TonysDetailedTouch89 He’s talking about the verses from the original song fool, not the singer… 🤦🏾♂️
As much as I love pats version, I just cant understand why people think its better than this one. Regardless, both are still great songs
This is probably one of my favorite songs of all time.
All 4 of them killed this, the beat is goated. One of the best rap songs ever
People disrespecting Bentley, but he has and still makes major moves in music, fashion, and black excellence 💯don't let that persona fool ya✌🏿

I always say it. Now houston where the money at. ATL where the talent popping right now. It’s not a rule but it’s definitely how the landscape is now
Don't tell that to the rappers from Port Arthur Lol. But it depends on the type of rap...because we can't forget about the 2 Live Crew.
@@capitalg4018 2 live crew originally from California Luke brought them to miami
@@xclusivehustlazTEAMTRUST Very true but they changed their whole style when they move to Miami with Luke and that's when they became major.
