Donovan Sheppard, 39, is in an Oklahoma jail, accused of raping his stepdaughter in her bedroom. The girl’s mother allegedly caught him in the act and held a gun on him until police arrived. Sheppard and his wife both confirmed to police that he is HIV-positive. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber discusses the disturbing case with Chris Hansen, renowned predator catcher and founder of TruBlu.

Now one of those siblings is in jail for crimes against a minor and other charges, after years of struggling with addiction and poor mental health. This sickening cycle is decades in the making. My heart goes out to all those affected by such a heinous scenario. May no one else ever feel this pain.

My step grandpa did this. He did despicable things to my aunts when they were preteens and then he repeated those acts onto me when I was 1-6 years old. He also coached little leagues while I was growing up, he played on the minor leagues, was security on an Indian reservation and was our pastor. He was a cop in Virginia on the Roanoke police department right before he married my grandmother. He was told to resign and leave the state of Virginia and to never return back there nor could he ever be a cop again and that is when he went to California and met my grandmother.
OSCAR MEJIA born December 4th 1961.
This past year on December 4th 2023 he was sentenced to 120 years to life no parole for his crimes against us (me and two other aunts because only we could face him face to face in court) we spoke up for those who couldn’t and for those who did not know we were speaking up against him so they too could have justice.
