5 Cold Cases in Wyoming

- This weeks video includes 5 cold cases in Wyoming. Katherine Major (00:10), Kristi Lynn Richardson (02:34), Amy Wroe Bechtel (05:37), Justin Phillip Harris (14:38), and Virginia, Reagan, and Richard Uden (17:29).
Why is there a face blurred in the Amy Bechtel case? Because the person I was showing was not actually Dale Wayne Eaton but another person named Morris Davis, so I've blurred the face so it is not confusing to people who know who that is.

This video and the last one I removed the background music while I’m talking. Let me know your thoughts on the change. Thanks!
Girl, I actually like the background music. Dont mind it at all.❤😌...But alls well, wonderful video as always.
It's good
I dont mind. Your voice is cool so i forget there is no msuic. Maybe alternate. Keep us on our toes 😁
I don't mind either way. The music in your vids has never been too loud or distracting. Both are good 👍
You're doing great!
I like not having background music when you are speaking, it makes it easier to focus on the story.
Her voice is very nice.
Im on hold on the phone while watching this..listenong to smooth jazz...very creepy
I completely agree 💯 w/you on this one for sure, for sure. Sometimes the music is extremely, extremely irritating &it is very, verry difficult to hear what you are speaking of at certain&or the whole entire time the eehhhh music is not only to loud&your unable to even make out what exactly your talking about honestly it drove me completely NUTS-SO for sure, for absolutely POSITIVE!!!!!!!! 👍🏻
Dont need background music !! Love to hear that good ole country voice!! Thank you S. G. !!🤠
You cover cases I've never heard of, thanks :)
99 days for kidnapping!? Wow. I guess someone has to actually die for the court to take things seriously. What if he went back to finish what he started with that poor woman and baby!? She fought hard to survive that. God bless them. Scary stuff.
We love your channel. I also think it better with no music under your voice.
Keep up the good work 👍
Yeah I'm liking the no background music...
Thank you so for sharing your time 😊
Removing the background music helped
Kind, considerate, helpful and caring. Such a sweet description from Justin’s father
Love all your videos. Much clearer without music.💙💙💙🙂🙂🌟🌟
Not having the music in the background is so much better. 😊I feel like the music takes away from the case. 💕
Look forward to your videos always, because I love the intro music and you cover many cases that don't get a lot of publicity. It's so thoughtful and creative of you to choose these lesser known cases. Thank you!
Thanks for the upload! I’ve only heard of Amy’s case. The music in the back ground doesn’t bother me, as I can zone it out, but for others, it’s probably easier to concentrate on the cases. I hope you finish all of the states before doing part two on the states you’ve already covered. Thanks for you’re hard work!
Katherine's story sounds like a plot from Agatha Christie
Precisely
Why is the money still there??.very strange
If the victim in the story had a mental illness......
I wish you could put out a video everyday! Lol great job!
Yes! One of my favorite channels! Thankyou for your hard work on these cases! 😊😊
You’re Welcome!
Thank you for sharing!!! Stay safe!!!
Im always here for an upload from this channel. Great big thumbs up.
I'm addicted to these! I appreciate that many times the victims commit crimes that lead to their unfortunate demise. The woman had $45K in her suite but stole $700 from a resort. WTF!
"I have nothing," she says at the Four Seasons in a white Jaguar convertible.
Another one that bothers me so much is Madison Scott !! Missing from hogs back lake .😥 they have never found her and she was camping in a tent alone that night .all of her friends went home and she chose to stay. And never seen again. Beautiful woman vanished. ! Her tent and truck left behind .
I remember hearing about this case, not sure where at but I do remember how weird it made me feel that her friends all left her behind.
@@taylorstafford9164 yeah it really creeped me out .I wanna know what happened to her so bad..sometimes it just kills me .I can not imagine being her mother !😥💙🙏💙🌸
Being from Wyoming, I am familiar with all but the first one you talked about and some of the information you have provided I had no idea about...great job in presentation and everything. You have a new subscriber in me.
Good job, Thomas. I'm from Wyomjng, too. I lived there many years. What part? Me, Cheyenne, and others.
im from casper lots of unheard info!!
Woahhh I'm from Lander, WY. I never heard of Amy Bechtel. How crazy. I've been on a true crime kick and its super interesting to hear of a story from our little town. Thank you for the upload!
I'm from Laramie Wy and I'm unfamiliar with this stories except Amy . I really thought more people from Wyoming would be alerted when these things happen because we are a small community that could be helping.
That’s crazy! I grew up in lander, so did my parents and grandparents now in Laramie 😂 I first heard the story at a very young age though because some of my family knew them, from what I’ve heard it seems like the whole town was up in sinks canyon looking for her. Wonder if we ever knew each other it’s a crazy small town 🤷♀️😂
@@KarriSimoneand yea people have gone missing way more than you think. There are a lot of cases of young indigenous women from Wind River disappearing that have never been solved, it used to happen all the time about 40 years ago, unfortunately it definitely still happens. There could easily be an entire video about this, but these cases usually get forgotten about and BIA/FremontCountySherriff lack the resources and technology that many other agencies have ):
I enjoy the background music it sets the tone but either way i love your channel
I love your channel. Please never stop making videos.
Love your uploads ! 🥰
Thanks!
Thank you for these Wyoming cases!! I am proud of you for pronouncing the river's name correctly.
I can concentrate more on the cases without the music, but I am watching and supporting your channel either way. You cover the cases that need exposure and do so in such a respectful way. Thank you for your hard work in researching these cases.
Love your channel!!
I love your channel and look forward to each week’s episode. Thank you!
Absolutely love love love this RUclips channel 👏🏽💯 keep up the great work
Thank you for your good work. You’re very adept and classy. Have a nice day. From Sacramento, CA. 05/17/2021 05:08 hours.
Thank you for your videos!
Great videos. It’s awesome to listen to the videos without background music. Nice work keep it up please. God bless. ❤️😘
The lady with the cats 😭 I hope someone took her kitties
Me too! Poor babies 😭
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought about this 🐈💗
We are a caring& kind community, I can guarantee somebody nice took her cats in. 💙
Wonderful episode, Good morning from Florida
Morning from the UK :)
I can just imagine Gerald Uden and Alice's dating .... & finding out they have murder in common.
It’s a great ice breaker...
Nice work!!
Yay! Thank you for another interesting video!
First case 45 GRAND in cash? And poor two cats??? I could never leave my cats for love nor money
keep your cat ill take the 45k
I think the music level in previous videos is fine. Not having music is also okay. I don’t mind either option.
Goodmorning amazing job! ❤️ love your videos
Thanks!
good work!
So sad for all the victims but feel awful for Justin. Children are so innocent and vulnerable.
The last one is bizarre. If Virginia was a predator, then why did he kill his two adoptive sons?!? I'd say Alice put him up to killing them. Just crazy!!
Your channel is awesome. I don’t mind the music in the background. As long as it’s in the back drop & kinda quiet, but no music is ok too! You make the call girl! 😉
Someone needs to pay for an exploration diving into Fremont Lake and see if those barrels are there. No, I don't have the money. All of these missing person cases are sad.
I live outside of pinedale where Fremont lake is.
Love the content request: South Carolina pt2 please
As a separate state, please.
Ive always believed "Smug Steve" to be the only viable suspect in Amy's vanishing and likely, murder.
Really? I had never heard him referred to as smug steve. Many of the true crime shows I've seen always seemed to shift suspicions away from him. But he was who I suspected too.
Still would love to hear the case of Lena Chapin from Unsolved Mysteries Season One Netflix. Out of Missouri.
Never heard of that one either!
@@TheInvestiGatorYT Check it out on Netflix Unsolved Mysteries season one: Missing Witness
With her drawl "poem" is a 1 syllable word and the words "band" & "friends" have 2 syllables. "Southern Girl Crime Stories" is accurate lol.
Thanks.
Steve sounds like a "real prince" NOT!
If he buried those three bodies where a hog pen is the bodies will never be found. Sadlly. What a creep.
Wow!! Just wow! Mankind is crrazy
Omg that Alice old lady scared the sh*t out of me
Wow had no idea this last 1 took place on my birthday
Thanks so much respect condolences
Sounds like Eaton was ramping up. If he indeed killed Amy,...he turned up immediately and tryd to snatch a whole fam!😱
I think he killed Amy. I think the sheriff focused too much on Steve.
I did catch the part about the farm. I'll have to go back and listen.
Amy's case. There is no Shoshoni National Park. What are you referring to? Shoshone National Forest, Yellowstone National Park, Wind River Indian Reservation, all in the area you're referring to.
Shoshone National Forest. Apologies
Isnt it crazy how these people can just disappear with no answers??! My gosh! After watching a lot of true crime on youtube it really struck me how often this happens!
So… he kills his ex wife bc??? And her kids??? Like why go out of your way to kill someone who’s no longer in your life?
He wanted to kill. No getting around it.
My dad believes btk killer (Dennis Rader) could be responsible for Amy Bechtel's disappearance. He was also in the area at the time of her disappearance.
Seems possible!
GOOD SHOW.
Never forget Shelly Wiley Cheyenne, Laramie Wyoming 1982
Victims and Family and Friends ❤❤❤
As someone who grew up at a boys ranch I wouldn’t be surprised if they covered something up. It’s what they do. All of them
Steve Bechtel even has a Wiki page and website, as does his father, who was a billionaire. NOTE TO MR MORPHEW AND MR MILLETTE: STEVE AIDED IN THE SEARCH TO FIND HIS WIFE!!!
I raised my children in Jackson Hole Wyoming years ago
In the case of Justin the sad thing about Wyoming is that it's full of doctors that love to diagnose kids or anyone they want with any condition they want just to fill their pockets. The accuracy of mental disorders in this state is depressing and leads to alot of bad things in the end and all for the sake of greed and personal gain. A good example is Dr Marterano who works at Wyoming Behavioral Institute in Casper. Not only are his diagnosis usually wrong but he also likes to go overboard on doses nearly killing his patients from overdose if he hasn't already.
45 grand in cash and a jaguar sure sounds like having stuff to me
She moved to Wyoming in 1996....but graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1995? Maybe she's not missing....she's just a time traveller!
Justin's father has passed away. There is a book from Ron Franscell about Alice and Gerald.
I will have to check that out..very interesting
back ground music is distracting and takes away from the quality of the story.,
First case all that money why was she stealing keys etc she could’ve easily paid for the stuff she was clearly not well
HEY SOUTHERN GIRL.
IM TRYING TO CATCH UP.
I am from Douglas wy amy wroe betchel was orginally feom Douglas as well as renee yeargain
If possible do you think you can do another Arkansas video?
Arkansan here!
@@MidnightVentures Hey there 👋
In the future for sure!
I believe Amy is buried at 552 Wood Street in Lander Wyoming in an old house that was an underground house that's where I believe she's buried nobody would listen to me when I told him
Why do you believe that?
It amazes me that so many people who have severe mental illness are behind the wheel of a car. If the person has trouble making rational decisions and has delusions. What makes anyone think that they are making rational decisions be hind the wheel?
How do you use a car as a septic tank??
The killing of Shelly Wiley Laramie Wyoming -Cheyenne 1982 forever missed
I took care of Alice Uden when she was in the county jail during her trial
I don't understand why there a picture of Morris Davis throughout the segment about Amy Bechtel. There's no way he's involved. He was murdered while delivering a pizza to a vacant house where he was set up to be robbed of his delivery money and kiIIed twelve years earlier in 1985.
Wow! You're right, I was looking up photos of Dale Wayne Eaton and that kept coming up, I could have swore that was a younger photo of him.
I blurred the face on Morris Davis so it won't be confusing to others. Thanks for pointing that out.
@@SouthernGirlCrimeStories I just looked up more info on Morris' case. They recently had a suspect but he died in 2016. There's some other newer info I wasn't aware of. Maybe the universe is saying it's time to put the unsolved Morris Davis murder into a future Montana video?
@@michiganmaxedout6248 I think you’re right! 😀
Holy fuck that first lady knows how to party
renee yeargain is a cold case as well she qas from Douglas wy
The rumor around casper for Richardson is, A McCurry affair, and she's buried under their pool!
😪🙏
So odd that law enforcement never released any results from investigating Chris (oil transport CEO) as it has been 7 years! Steve Bechtel is a freak. Her constant nervousness and checking her watch are classic signs of abuse and control. His new wife needs to sleep with one eye open. The judge who sentenced the Basin killer to 99 days should have his photo right beside the murderer's as he/she are equally responsible for enabling that monster. Justin's case made me cry. Every adult in his life failed him. Why did his father stand by and allow him to be sucked up into the foster care system? I truly don't get it. That last old couple are absolute monsters. He killed the mother because she was "predatory?" What does that even mean? And why kill those unfortunate little boys?? I suspect it was solely relative to HIM being a sexual predator. How on earth did those two freaks find each other? Regularly attending church means absolutely nothing, as we who study true crime have witnessed over and over. Chilling.
Hold on, so in the first case she stole keys to steal stuff and had $45,000 in cash in a safe in the room? Please go on I want to know where this one goes.........
Justin is my friend nephew....
The first one? She had “nothing”? Her definition of nothing & mine differ greatly!🙄
Right?? The majority of visitors to Teton county couldn't afford a single night anywhere in the village! I'm in Park county but I remember when her story happened. Weird.
The son in law and his wife.
I kind of thought that too.
Have you done one of these for Utah? U should
I have done all states at least twice over the past 3 years. I’ll be covering Utah again
Wait....what? She had $45,000 cash......but she steals $700 worth of useless crap? Errrrrkay.
Bipolar doesn't make any sense or logic.
unless you're planning on leaving the country why would you carry your passport with you?
❤✨
Very troubled child very sad
As far as the Uden case goes you have to do your research. He had a solid alibi. He was at work. Police just kept trying to force him to say he did it.
she had all that money 💰early im the morning kidnapped them
Who kills their own children
Mentally ill people or just plain evil people kill their kids.
