Cool video! I hope I never need to do this repair, but I know who to call if I do! Hopefully the dipstick was broken outside of the engine....it'd surely be hard to break one off once in the tube... Fun video, brother! A+++++
Cylinder repair used to be hard for me. Videos full of tips like this are great! Now that I'm more seasoned, cylinder repairs are autopilot. Unless the thing wants to fight.
Hydraulic shop get pricey. I been wanting to learn do to hydraulic cylinders after the hydraulic shop told us a week on Justin's dump trailer and took almost 3. Good to see you post a video it been awhile
Great to see you back again, I was just thinking about you after watching Paxtons Mom Kelly’s health update, it’s time to send more money, I sent some when you made that video last year. Hope you and your sons are well and may 2024 bring you great things.
Holy mackerel! Long time, no see! Hope you've been well and are doing fine. Glad to see you again! Hope this is the start of a regular uploading trend. Great video, Brother. Lots of good information. (very late) Happy New Year! May the Good Lord bless you with continued success, bringing you hapiness and prosperity. God bless.
It could. I talked to.the customer about it and they'd rather run it until it's a problem. They feel that if the motor has to come out then it might as well be rebuilt at that point so might as well leave ot alone and see if it causes a problem
Homie, please use spanners and not a pipe wrench on the end caps.. They aren't that expensive, and it looks like you actually gave a crap about the job. Also, this is funny to me as i work for an equipment dealer, and we are always sending cylinders out to be rebuilt. Because apparently its some black magic science stuff. Yet when we have to deal with fixed barrel (steering cylinders on some machines), it's always me that has to do them. Apparently i cant repack a hydraulic cylinder, until i can???

Thanks for sharing another great job, but my one concern is that if that oil dipstick is broken off could it cause trouble in the sump
It could. I talked to.the customer about it and they'd rather run it until it's a problem. They feel that if the motor has to come out then it might as well be rebuilt at that point so might as well leave ot alone and see if it causes a problem
