Really nice collection Steven. I've collected many Franklins, Eastons and Folios myself but I like how you've displayed them. Proves it's OK to display AND read beautiful books. We're not just book snobs. Haha! Keep the book videos coming. Great work.
You have a beautiful collection.
Gorgeous thx for sharing
Beautiful work!
In late toddlerhood, close to starting school at 4, a woman came to the house to sell a Compton’s Encyclopedia. With it came a set of American and British classics, nicely bound as shown here but not printed on top quality paper.
In jr high I read them all one summer, around the 8th or ninth grade. I still look back fondly at having done so. That was over 60 yrs ago.
wow, you seem really nerdy and i love it! these kind of books are soo beautiful ♡
"And this is the lord of the rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, and of course ive read them". Lol thats how any avid reader should respond when tolkien is involved
Wonderful collection sir! Very impressed
Great collection. I see you are a man of culture as well.
Hello, I would like to know where you got your leather strapped journals. They are very nice.
Awesome collection. I'm just starting out on my leatherbound collection journey, may I ask where you got your bookshelves? I'm looking for some nice glass door cases to display my books.
Wow. I'm speechless. Challenge accepted sir. I am now forced to out-book you.
Would you happen to have recommendations for texts written about economics or trade during the Renaissance, would you?
What years and editions of Franklin library should I buy? .... to be more specific what’s years did they write high quality leather bound books?
I know this was so long ago but I’d love to see another one of these videos and maybe take the books off the shelf real quick when you are showing them so we can see the front of some of them, I wouldn’t mind a long bookshelf video lol
Where do you get your shelf decorations? I'd like to draw inspiration from the best
bravo perfect...
Hey could you please do more library/bookcase tours
A few recommendations for you "The complete Mystical works of Dr. John Dee", Collin De Plancy's "Dictionnire Inferno" English Special Edtion, "The divan of Hafiz The complete works of Hafiz Shirazi", "the DaVinci Code" and Baronius Press Edition of The Ronald Knox translation of the Holy Bible(even if ur not the religious type this transition is very poetic and well written by Knox making it a good read)
The blog link isn't working. Any reason why? ;-;
On your website, under your list of Tolkien books, you have "Beowulf" listed.
I thought Tolkien's "Beowulf" was previously unpublished. (I understand it will be released soon)
I heard about the new up-coming release but, searching Harper-Collins and Harper-Voyager books websites, I could not find anything pertaining to it.
Do you know the website or link to pre-order it?
Thank you.
Found it.
Thx
***** I don't see it on Amazon. How much is the pre-order? Chapters has it for about $84 but if Amazon is cheaper then I'll pre-order from them.
Hello! New subscriber here ! I just have one question, where do i find/ buy classic books like these, thank you in advance
Where to buy
Our reading sources are very similar. hi
What e the Franklin library? Does it have a webpage
Thanks for the quick reply and information

Please use a tripod!
Besides Tolkien editions, which volume would you grab, if you had to quickly run out of your house in an emergency?
. . .
Personally, I would grab my Folio Society's 1611 King James Bible.
Nice. . . .
I love the look on my "non-book-ish" friend's faces when I show them the price of some high-end books. :-D
Looks like you forgot about telling us which ones you'd read halfway through. ;)
We love our books but unfortunately people dont visit book lovers enough for us to show them off....we have to do videos. Lol oh well
